My parents are Spanish speakers, and often feel left out from having us translate the experience. This time, they were able to fully lean into the wine tasting and connect with Juan Antonio. The empanadas were delicious and paired well with the Refucilo wines.“

“We were at the Uniontown Pa location. Great setting. The wine was a little sweet for my taste as I like a dry red, but they do have one that was close. Food was really good. They have an outdoor area which would be nice in the warmer months. Service was good.“

“I attended a private event and was amazed at the cozy and welcoming atmosphere. It was very lighthearted and friendly and the staff was really accommodating. The next morning I realized one of my earrings was missing. I later found out that one of the other guests had turned one in to the bartender. “Such a cute,small cozy space. Nice ambiance. The waitress was polite and patient. The salmon was moist and tasty. It's downstairs so I'm thinking it may not be wheelchair accessible. Upstairs are residential apartments and I did not see an elevator. There is outdoor spacing for wine drinking but I'm not sure if food is served in that space.Parking: It's located in the Stip district so parking is a bear. Good luck?“

“Not much ambiance, but the wine and hospitality are well worth the trip. We were visiting friends nearby and just found this little place through a map search. Dr. and Mrs. Slavic were incredibly nice and took time to tell us all about the area, some history of winemaking in PA and described the process making each of their wines. We ended up leaving with six bottles and will be back on our next visit to the area!“

“Came across this company at Cavanaugh's Bridal Show in Washington, PA and tried multiple samples. Ordered a sweet white wine called "Niagara" for wedding favors in September 2022 for my October wedding. They offered the best pricing available for such things I could find locally. The women who helped me were very pleasant to work with. I emailed them the photo I wanted to use for our customized label. They mailed me a print out of multiple options to choose from. Everything was boxed and ready for pick up on time. My guests were very pleased with this thoughtful and unique gift.“
