“The pad thainoodle with shrimi was pretty good. I like that you can customize the heat level and I like it at a 4. However the meatball pho, the meatballs were a little dense and the broth didn't have that depth of flavor, it was missing roasted ginger, onion and star anise and a few dashes of fish sauce. But it was a good size bowl of noodles. I will most definitely go back to order the papaya salad and try their Tom yum soup or fried rices. The owner seemed very nice.”

“I never leave reviews, but I love their food here. Service is fast, food is great and reasonably priced. They always have utensils and sauce in the bag. Just had their small egg drop soup and an egg roll for lunch. The soup was excellent!! Came with the fried noodles. The vegetable egg roll was crispy and filling!!! It also had the sauce packets with it. I've been going here off and on since they opened and have never been disappointed. It's way better than fast food and it's consistently good. Actually, over the years it has gotten better!!!!!”

“Actually, I was a customer in early October 2022. They don't accept SNAP, but the manager gave me an orange juice "on the house". Interior/exterior design welcoming/cheerful. Very clean (including restroom). I'm not really a sweets person, though the orange juice hit the spot on a high temperature Autumn day!11/21/23. Why is the wood female icon on the restroom door headless? It has been this way for quite some time. Most of the employees are women. What does this tell you? You may derive a few clues from some of the photography gracing their walls.”

“I came here on March 18 to grab a large iced coffee and chocolate munchkins and the customer service was great especially from one lady working the register. I'll have to grab her name next time.I really hope you are paying these employees over $10/hr because they deserve it and I would stop going If I found out that these great employees are getting paid very low poverty wages”

“Listen here, there is none better than FORTUNE STAR! 2 time visitor in 5 days! Immediately greeted and seated to let the all you can eat begin! I absolutely stuffed myself both visits! Not out of hunger but out of necessity! I had to see what every dish tasted like and was never disappointed!”

“I was able to get breakfast, something I rarely do. I ordered the big breakfast with hotcakes, and to my surprise they changed the recipes for some of the food. The sausage was a little bit more tender and the scrambled eggs were a little more flavorful. I was pleasantly surprised.... Not bad Mickey Dee's!?!”

“A group of 5 of us visited Dish last night and the meals were amazing. Grilled Squid, the best I have ever had. Where else can you find it not breaded and fried? Add to that their amazing sardines so fresh and good. Pasta Funghi another high. Exquisite detail to taste in every dish. The owners go way out of their way to make you feel welcomed and happy and very satisfied. A must visit when you are lucky enough to get a reservation though other friends have happily sat at the bar for dinner just to be there!! Kudos to Dish!”

“For those who enjoy Indian food, I highly recommend Bombay to Burgh. This "home cooking" restaurant came highly recommended by our neighbors as well as @alexeatstoomuch. It's a small place in Swissvale, just a few minutes off the Parkway East. We opted for the Sunday buffet. Plenty of selections and a VERY reasonable price! The food was excellent!”

“This is a special place. Liege waffles are very different than anything I've ever had. They are made from a yeast dough, with caramelized brown sugar inside, smallish, and served warm in a napkin so that you can take it with you while window shopping. Please note: these are not meant to be served with ice cream on top. The ice cream and waffles are both very good by themselves. The owner only serves them together because people ask for that, but I think they ask for it because they think that's how it's meant to be served. (At least, that's what we thought!)”
