“It was our first time visiting CSC and I must we felt at home. The owner is welcome and very pleasant. Aunty can cook!!! The chow mein was masta, the bake and salt fish had lots of flavor, and homemade chicken curry that tastes just like mom's. I'll definitely visit again and recommend this restaurant to friends and family.“
“Best Party hall and grocery store owners everAt first, I visited Dana Mandi when it was in downtown at chestnut street. I had mouth watering Paronthe Makhan naal with a big glass of tea then. After 5 years from that time, I recently tried finding this place out again and learned it got shifted to upper darby. I was traveling back to Newyork from DC with my parents and told them i will get you best quality punjabi tea from this place. To my surprise when I reached there, Sardar ji (the owner) told me that due to huge loss of property due to floods and almost no recurring customer base he had to shut down the food corner :(. I felt sad for their situation and politely asked them for an alternative place near by.He said wait, you are my guests now I will get you all some fresh tea from our kitchen downstairs. We sat in their party hall (which was under construction then and almost done) and he served us delicious tea as his vip guests and not the customers. Later, I also bought groceries for my house since we were heading back after the weekend trip.We felt so much warmth with the respect we received from the gentleman who had such bad time in previous years due to personal and professional setbacks as he mentioned during the conversation we hadI humbly request every one to give them a chance to revive and flourish as another local business in your area.God bless him and his family with health and wealth. I will surely come back a million times if God permits.“

“came here for a friends birthday dinner last weekend - my friends and i had a great time! our server, Brazil, was attentive, kind, and helpful with answering our questions. entrees can be ordered on a spice level 1 to 5 but some dishes are naturally spicier than others so this doesn't always equate to exactly the spice level you expect. the fish moilee at spice level 2 was way spicier than paneer makhani at spice level 4. paneer makhani was good but could've been more flavorful. the paneer palak was our favorite dish. the paneer in both these dishes was some of the best i've had. samosas, garlic naan, and goat cheese naan were great. do be warned that 21% tip is automatically included for parties over 5. overall, the ambiance and service were 5/5. food was 4/5. not my favorite indian spot in philly, but very good nonetheless!“

“Srinagar has the best samosa chaat in the area. Their takeout packaging is careful and food is kept in a double layered thick brown bag so you don't have to worry about a spill. And if you're lucky, you might just find a surprise complementary dessert in it.“

“I was having a bad day and decided to try their biryani. I ordered through Uber Eats and asked to make the biryani extra spicy. It was DELICIOUS. Easily the best biryani in the city by far. I’m from Pakistan so I believe I’m a fair judge. It wasn’t greasy at all and packed with flavour.I also ordered cheese chicken naan but the filling was hardly there. I did like the actual naan though. But, I didn’t even care about the naan because the biryani was amazzzinggg.“

“A fantastic spot. The food and service were fabulous. You can choose how spicy you want your food, from a scale of 1-7 which I love cause I can’t handle spicy. The atmosphere was great too, just missing a little music for mood. Absolutely recommend for any and all!“

“Over the many years I’ve been eating at the Bryn Mawr Tiffin, the manager, Rudra and his staff have been overly hospitable to me. They’ve allowed me to cook and watch in the back of the kitchen and see how their operation works. They work smoothly and efficiently . I have seen them serve so many orders in the span of 30 minutes and each dish was cooked with intense attention to detail. The food they’ve served is better than any Indian food I’ve ever had. (This is no joke) I have been to almost every Tiffin location in the area and it doesn’t taste this good. If you are new to Indian cuisine, you should get the Chicken Tikki Masala. It will immediately jump into your list of favorite foods. What a treat!!“
“We just met Juby and had the pleasure of trying his amazing food at his new Chestnut Hill location. What a fantastic addition to the Market at the Fareway! Everything was so good and we can’t wait to come back!“

“There is not much I enjoy more than a good Kati roll. Masala kitchen delivers to an extend but leaves something to be desired. Their roll is greasier than I would want. Chicken Masala is excellent. The other 4 are ok. Their Kati roll is flavorful and priced great. It is worth a try atleast once. Get double chicken on the chicken masala and you will have a delicious lunch !“

“I highly recommend. We were greeted at the door by the young lady. We ordered our food and then seated. When I say the food was fresh. The food was made to order. The taste of the entrees left us speechless in a good way. The garlic naan was perfect. The chicken Tikka Masala was full of flavor in every bite. The chicken vindaloo was spicy as I requested and all very tasteful in every bite. If you want good food stop by this place. We will definitely be visiting again.“

There are some incredible veggie options and the portions are a great size to share or get multiple meals out of. My favorite dishes they have are the Gobi Manchurian and the Navarathna Kourma! It is definitely some of the best Indian food in the area that I have tried!“

“Great Indian food with a large selection. The fried eggplant appetizer is amazing. The only drawback is that it is quite noisy and hard to hear each other at the table. Also, the parking is small but not a problem at night because there are lots for stores that are closed nearby.“

“Food was absolutely incredible. I got the Palak Paneer and Lamb Korma and each had such a beautiful flavor and texture. Their rice was well seasoned and specialized in the best way.The seating in the booth was not comfortable and felt like the cushion was beyond it's lifetime. But everything else was great!“

“We started with the Konkan Shrimps that was in their February special menu and followed by Malai Tikka Shrimp, as usual it was mouth melting ( great for kids ) and cooked to perfection. We love the fresh tandoori bread ( lachcha paratha and onion kulcha ) and their butter chicken with (thigh) red meat is very close to the Delhi butter chicken. Samosa chat , lamb chops are highly recommended and if there is still space for some sweets their Pistachio Kulfi is the best homemade version I have ever had. Always delicious and fresh food and worth every penny.Vegetarian options: Gobi Manchurian, Saag , Samosta Chat are highly recommended.“

“We’re craving Indian food and this place was delicious. Good portion of food, and very flavorful. The two guys at the counter were very nice as well. Nothing bad to say about this place. The food can get spicy if you order even moderate but I love spice, part of why we order Indian food! Delicious place and we have leftovers.“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at King of Tandoor & Biryani House, and it was a delightful culinary journey to this Indian restaurant truly lives up to its name, offering a wide array of tandoori and biryani dishes. Here's my review of the experience: Ambiance (4/5): The restaurant boasts a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a cozy dinner with friends or family. The decor reflects Indian culture, with vibrant colors and tasteful artwork, creating an authentic dining environment. Service (4/5): The service was attentive and friendly, with the staff providing recommendations and accommodating special requests. Our dishes arrived promptly, and the waitstaff was knowledgeable about the menu. Food (5/5): The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the food. We started with the Vindaloo, a spicy and tangy Goat curry. The balance of flavors was exceptional, and the tender chunks of meat (I had chicken) soaked up the rich sauce perfectly. The level of spiciness was just right, offering a pleasant kick without overpowering the other flavors. The Chicken Tandoori Mix was a showstopper. The tandoor-grilled chicken had a smoky, charred aroma and was incredibly juicy. The mix of various tandoori meats provided a delightful variety of tastes and textures. Biryani (4/5): We couldn't visit an establishment with "Biryani House" in its name without trying their biryani. We opted for the classic chicken biryani, and it didn't disappoint. Fragrant and aromatic, the rice was well-seasoned and adorned with succulent pieces of chicken. Overall Experience (4.5/5): King of Tandoor & Biryani House exceeded my expectations. The restaurant offers a great selection of Indian dishes, and the flavors were truly authentic. Whether you're a fan of spicy curries or smoky tandoori dishes, this place has something for everyone. I would highly recommend King of Tandoor & Biryani House to anyone seeking a taste of India It's a place where you can savor the rich and diverse flavors of Indian cuisine in a welcoming setting. I'll certainly be returning to try more of their tempting menu offerings in the future“

“THE BEST INDIAN FOOD IN PHILADELPHIA! honestly I have had my fair share of good Indian food and EKTA is top notch. They also have very good customer service, I usually order from here every Sunday and the one week the Uber driver did not deliver one item and Ekta told me to call next time and they will give me another item since I didn't want to pick it up that night. The next time I called & mentioned it they did what they said they would do. I am also always happy with the quality and quantity of the dishes.“
