I also order shrimp fried rice and that was really good too I like yellow looking Chinese rice brown rice gives me Japanese rice vibes but it was really good.“

“this is a pretty good Chinese food place. I would say the buffet is definitely worth the money but in terms of taste ofc ordering from the menu is better. Not saying that the buffet taste bad just in comparison to ordering u can clearly tell a difference“

“Taipei is by far the best sushi and Chinese restaurant in the Fox Chapel area. The servers are courteous and the specialty sushi rolls are noticeabley larger and tastier than Jimmy Wan's. In my opinion, Taipei also offers a better selection than Jimmy Wan's. We also appreciate Taipei's complimentary fried wontons served before each meal and orange slices provided at the end of service. This family-friendly restaurant always make us feel at home.“

“I came here to try the peking duck and I have got to say it was one of the best I have had in the area so far. I got the full duck, skin and meat (I have been to some places that only give you part of a duck and hardly any skin) not only that but I got plenty of pancakes, green onion, cucumber, and hoisin. There was easily enough for 4 meals, since I was eating alone.It only took about 30 minutes for them to prepare the duck which is pretty good and average for this kind of meal. “Very good Chinese. Fried rice can be a bit oily but they are the only restaurant in southern Allegheny County that makes it like I like it. Some make fried rice too light and it's flavorless. This is darker in color and the flavor is more pronounced. Their general tso's is bold and the spice builds on you, the way it should. Just had their small egg drop soup and an egg roll for lunch. The soup was excellent!! Came with the fried noodles. The vegetable egg roll was crispy and filling!!! It also had the sauce packets with it. I've been going here off and on since they opened and have never been disappointed. It's way better than fast food and it's consistently good. Actually, over the years it has gotten better!!!!!“
