“Nice bbq place. Mr James was very friendly. Pulled pork wasn’t seasoned. Very good, but definitely needed additional flavoring added. Slaw wasn’t as desirable.”

“Crossroads Cafe in Beech Island, SC ... this place is just a treasure! They open at 5:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Closed on Saturday and Sunday. The breakfast menu has all the favorites! The bacon is a nice thick cut, perfectly cooked. And, oh my, the hashbrowns are just fabulous, serving size is plentiful enough to share! They use REAL cheese! Better than anything you ever had at the awful waffle. Biscuits weren't ready, so I am unable to comment. Prices are actually less expensive, as well! So, all you Savannah River Site people, slow your butts down, and pay this place a visit! For lunch, they are a meat and two veggies. Their fried chicken, country fried steak are quite good (better than WifeSaver), their cornbread is a little dry for my tastes. The veggies are canned; however, they will do. I sure do wish they were fresh, especially the mashed taters. The atmosphere is full of jokes, and laughter as the locals enjoy their meal and each other's company. I have thoroughly enjoyed each visit, and this place goes on the rotation. This place is 4.5 out 5, and well worth the price, and a stop! ~ The Good Food Girls @followers”

“Only got half my order.I had to wait over 15 minutes for my food ..the crew person even said repeatedly that he was sorry for my wait (I was the only customer in drive thru and no customers inside either.) He also stated he gave me a fry and pie for my wait.(I had ordered a fry and a halves so that was no gift.) I'd still would have loved my burgers as well but got 1 small fry & the chicken sandwich nothing else.) A total waste of time plus, I paid yet nothing but 1 sandwich & fry O.o) money refunded & never again!All that's great, except, I only got half my order I even asked if it was all in that one small bag. He was quick to say yes ma'am etc, but it wasn't. It was 30 min before closing as well still waited over 15 min for this.. Lord help that location otherwise down the damn toilet. Beware! They need to hire professionals instead if children and a manager should be there as well that knows their job! Ughh*****UPDATE*****11/09/23*****Called and spoke with the manager. He was friendly understanding & genuinely interested in making things right. So, I went back up to the burger king and he gave me the entire order again & this time it was correct!Where i thought i only got half my order was actually someone elses order totally. “It is SO CRAZY to see how this store out performs many of the restaurants in Augusta & North Augusta. Incredible work ethic & service, a lot of restaurants & various businesses should come here, grab a donut & watch the work ethic that spills through this place. The donuts is incredible, the dedication to making this taste like heaven on earth is unfathomable. What does it taste like? It tastes like the foods that we've all wanted to try, like the Krabby Patty from SpongeBob, the Jawbreakers from Ed, Edd n' Eddy, the Krunch Time Perfect Candy from Jimmy Neutron. If these donuts were in the cartoons that we all used to watch, I can tell you that it taste exactly what you thought it would be when you were 5-12 years old. Inside the shop always gets crowded, although I think they should definitely restructure how the customer line & seating goes but honestly I couldn't think of anything myself because people go in & then they're out. The line is quick. You can tell some people come here grumpy & anxious but after that first bite of that donut, it's game over. Lmao”

The morning glory muffin is my favourite.Parking: They have street parking out front and a parking area behind the cafe.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp up to the side door and a flat floor inside the main section. The kitchen took a little bit longer than expected for our dessert to come out and without us having to ask about it, Bailey kept us informed. The young lady who took our order was great- she seemed happy to be there and was very helpful with the menu. The food was tasty and prompt. The beer selection looked awesome, only wish I could’ve enjoyed one with the burger, but I had a long drive ahead. If your considering trying Farmhaus, go!
