“Our first visit to Folly Beach and I'm so glad we found gems like Jack of Cups. The Asian fusion dishes are a nice twist but the highlight for us was the absolutely heavenly Ube cheesecake. And I like that the description says it's a 'no nonsense' place. Loved the atmosphere.“

“The Rarebit…what can I say about the Rarebit? Have you ever visited a place whether it was for vacation or work or just passing through and thought “wow! If I lived here this would be my go to”! This place makes me jealous of anyone that lives here. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this beautiful history filled city and always love southern charm and hospitality but “The Rarebit” will always be remembered from our visit here. The food was delicious!! The service, on a scale of 1 through 10, was somewhere around 23. To be honest, I normally don’t leave reviews but I just couldn’t let this one go. My wife and I hated leaving this fine establishment at the end of our meal…we should’ve stayed longer…maybe another drink or 5…another dessert or an order of wings that I turned down and am now regretting…WTH was I thinking?? Anyway, my lovely wife had just the house salad with balsamic which she called “perfect”! She ordered a side of fried shrimp which was breaded with what was described as breaded with “Charleston Heat”, I have no idea what that is but I would love to know who invented it because that person is a genius! I’d love to shake that person’s hand…fist bump…high 5…maybe a hug and just a friendly “love ya man! What’s your recipe?” I personally had the red snapper special…delicious…perfectly prepared…and the vegetables were out of this world…what man in his right mind says “the vegetables were out of this world”? Weird right? But then again, the vegetables were out of this world…so yeah! Overall great combination of flavors! We are so thankful for this evening meal. The Rarebit is a gem in my mind. I can only end this with a wish that I could visit often…I wish I could try the lunch menu…I wish I lived in Charleston so I could visit frequently and make The Rarebit my “Go To”! Loved our evening and thank you so very much!“
