My wife & I were "first timers" to visit Charleston this week. We are back in Chicago now. Maya was recommended by our hotel, Lindsy Marriott. My wife and I ate dinners back-to-back two days in a row. Excellent food & white wine (Raw Bar?) during happy hour.Special shout outs to Sheryl (front desk) and our servers Emma & Libby. Really, really nice, fun, and friendly. Emma brought us free Anniversary cake and the next night Libby brought us Brussel Sprouts to sample.
Ordered the Brussels sprouts, double smash burger and crunch wrap. Brussel sprouts were incredible! So much flavor and lots of crunch I highly recommend you get these. The burger was hearty and a pleasant surprise from a Mexican place. Lots of sauce and flavor. The crunch wrap was tasty but needed a better sauce. Fun spin off of a Taco Bell favorite. Absolutely absolutely loved the food, very flavorful, and the waitress was very knowledgeable. I love the mahi tacos, the birra crispy cheese tacos. The margaritas were perfect!
