Park and Grove was our favorite place to visit when we moved to Charleston 4 years ago. The ambiance and staff were always great! After they remodeled and changed their menu, leaving off some of our favorites, we decided not to return for awhile. A few nights ago, I met a friend for dinner, and suggested Park and Grove. I was excited to return, however, it turned out to be a huge disappointment. I decided to order the Strawberry Salad, after our waitress raved about it! Sadly.... when it arrived, the salad was literally swimming in dressing! My bad for not requesting the dressing on the side, but had no idea the lettuce would be drowning! Besides too much dressing... it was so salty, it was painful to eat! I motioned to our waitress and explained how awful the salad was, and I wasn't able to eat it. She didn't offer to make it right, or give me suggestions, but did tell me, once again, that the berries were fresh, before walking away, which made no sense. This makes me sad, as my husband and I always loved visiting. Thank you
