“This is a down home funky southern restaurant serving primarily oysters and fried chicken in a converted garage. So for that reason they get 5 stars. The food was good, the roasted oysters were great, beer was cold, sides were enough to share service was attentive. They don’t take reservations for party less than six so you can expect to wait if you go at prime time. It a pretty popular place.Parking: Primarily a residential neighborhood so parking can be sparse. They do have a free parking lot but it’s small. Neighborhood not the best so be aware walking at night“

“I would have given this restaurant 5 stars for the food except for the preparation of the garlic shrimp…the taste was spot on but the texture was a little mushy because of all the delicious sauce (the bread dipped in the sauce with lots of capers was a revelation). Maybe there is a way to have the majority of the sauce on the side so the shellfish doesn’t suffer. Caesar salad was among the most unique and delicious I’ve ever had. Really solid meal and the service was superb. Prices were reasonable as well.“

Flavor explosion.The heavy and biscuit was too sour for and the bacon was cooked to perfection.The chicken and waffle was the perfect balance of savory and sweet with perfectly fried chicken and a thick fluffy waffle with amazing packed and just the right amount of syrup.I got the banana pudding pancakes and let me tell you, best in my life ever! At first when I saw this dish was pancakes and not French toast, I had my reservations about it. (How dare they? French toast is superior!)I'm a pancake hater. They usually get soft and mushy and I'm extremely picky about a pancake.This pancake was PERFECT! Slightly crisp edges, but still soft and fluffy. The pressing filling was the perfect sweetness and it had just enough syrup, too. Just wow! I streamed about it last night.Portion sizes were generous enough to fill up s competitive bodybuilder and her very hungry husband to the brim.Our brunch dates mean a lot to us and this experience was incredible.We can't wait to come back.“

“Had a wonderful dinner at Middleton restaurant and we didn't have to pay for garden entrance if you are here for di bed.The place was very quaint and the view of the garden from the restaurant was so lovely.The host and the waiters were helpful and friendly. They served dinner rolls and they were made by local bakery , Saffron bakery.We had scallops as our appetizer and they were sit on top of mashed yolk, mustard, mayo and Lima beans with bits of crunchy bacons, so so good.For our dinner, we had local grouper with red lentils and egg plants and butcher cut sirloin about 7-8 oz on top of creamy mashed potatoes and green beans. Both entrees were so good.For dessert, I chose the chocolate mousse cake and all their dessert are from Saffron bakery.The restaurant is a non profit restaurant so the restaurant didn't charge us tax on our bill. We were so surprise and very happy about it so if you don't know this then now you know :)I really recommend this place and we'll be back with the kids next time.“

“I have been a member of the Harbour Club for almost 15 years, at the old location and at the new location. It is a private club, but it has always been a great club and a great place for networking and having meetings and dinners with business associates, but the current location, staff, chef, and atmosphere is by far the best it has ever been. There is always a smile and a friendly greeting from the whole staff and the servers are great! The new chef has done a great job and recently upgraded the menus. Views from the club are outstanding, especially the sunset over the Ashley River. My wife and I have recently joined the wine club and really enjoy the wine tastings. They have live music on Fridays, special events throughout the year, kids activities and they support the community with their "Cocktails For a Cause" events. Whether you are looking for a place to do some work in quiet workspaces, attend a great happy hour, or want to network and have a place to take business associates, you should consider the Harbour Club. Peel and eat shrimp, fried oysters (PERFECT breading!), fries, hush puppies, slaw and key lime pie! I’d like to try the low country boil next time and the grouper and shecrab. GO HERE!!“
