Even when I asked them to change the way they boxed 150 cookies, they did it with no complaint, huffing or eye rolls. They were really just happy to make me happy. “Walked by when traveling and one of the shop staff pulled me in to check out some lemon meringue. If you are a meringue lover like me definitely go try it!!! I can tell you it was baked to perfect and so fluffy. The beautiful design of swirls and perfect bounce of fluff with a gorgeous balance of white and golden brown. I wasn’t in the mood for pie but when he told me to try it definitely can say it was 100% worth it.“

“cinnamon roll - when I saw the cinnamon rolls at Wingards Nursery I wasn't impressed. they looked like a giant chunk of bread with a glob of icing haphazardly slapped on top. I asked the young man working, have you tried these? what do you think of them? he said, oh my God best thing you will eat. $5...ok I'll try it. later same day, I sliced that roll like a loaf of bread. noting the thick ribbons of creamy sweet cinnamon in my slice. I microwaved my slice for 10 seconds...took my 1st bite... savoured the delicious, perfectly sweet homemade cinnamon roll....and had another slice. I'll definitely be back for another! I'll definitely be sharing with others! one bite of that not so pretty giant chunk of bread with icing slapped on and I had an epiphany...one of the best cinnamon rolls around!!!!!“

“I have always been a fan of Aly and Eloise and bought their sweets for a pick me up. It was a no brainer that I wanted to use them for my wedding cake. Aleka sat down with us for our tasting and was very helpful when we were planning out all the details. Absolutely everything perfect. Our brown butter caramel cake was so incredibly moist and flavorful. It was one of the highlights of the food and lots of our guests kept saying how delicious it was. One even said it was the best wedding cake they’ve ever had. I couldn’t agree more.“

“I love Canal Coffee on Hardscrabble. It has quickly become my go-to in the mornings. My usual is a 20oz Sea Salt Caramel Macchiato w/ whole milk. I add hazelnut and a sea salt caramel cold foam. It’s delicious and always done perfectly. I also get their Asiago Cheese Bagel with cream cheese toasted. It makes my day. The staff is always energetic, fast, so friendly, and attentive. The vibe and energy they portray is fantastic. Please give this place a try. The general manager is wonderful and also runs the Smoothie King next door which also has a fantastic staff.“

The danish was a little dry but otherwise everything else was absolutely delicious. The cakes were SUPER moist and not overly sweet. Will definitely visit again.“

“I have driven past this place many times and wanted to stop. Today was the day!!! I got a cheddar black pepper bread loaf and a cherry cheesecake danish/croissant. Both were absolutely delicious!!! The cherries in the danish were not overly sweet and the croissant crust was crispy and tender. The cheddar black pepper bread lived up to its name. Swirls of cheddar throughout the loaf and the right amount of black pepper. Absolutely delicious!!!“
