“The food quality is consistently terrific and delicious. This has been my favorite Chinese restaurant in the greater Charleston area for years. Everyone who works here is so friendly and welcoming. It's also beautifully decorated and clean. Highly recommend!”

“Delicious!!! I'm still thinking about the pork roll and cheese bagel that was the perfect size and flavors. I loved the iced chai latte with oat milk that accompanied my breakfast so well. The price was pretty good and the restaurant was very cute. I'd definitely come back!!”

“They were pretty busy when we went about 6p and they were busy the whole time we were there. Service was so friendly. Portions were very generous. Food was delicious! We had sliced brisket sandwiches and chopped brisket, corn bread casserole, Mac n cheese and fries. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Highly recommend.”

“We had the best lunch here! Our group was very large for a bachelorette party and they were able to accommodate us well, we did make a reservation in advance. All of the drinks were fantastic, several of our group had mococktails, and others had cocktails but all were absolutely delicious. I wasn't able to take a photo but the shrimp and oysters were amazing to have as appetizers, especially for a large group. I plan to visit this restaurant again when I return.”

“I dined at Delaney oyster tonight, and had an incredible experience. Our server was Charlie (easy to remember, we have the same name) and he gave us an experience we could never forget. 10/10 I will be back and I will be asking for Charlie!”

“Good food, good service. Quite a few gluten free options which I was very happy about; they also have a rice pasta that can be substituted in most dishes. Tasty cocktails. Enjoyed the ambiance. Definitely plan to return.”

“This review is LONG overdue. My sister & I visited Charleston July 2023. The night we flew in from Seattle we had Chasing Sage for dinner - what a delight! From the atmosphere to the food to the incredible staff and chef, it was an amazing experience. My sister and I still randomly bring up our experience at Chasing Sage, and how delicious the food was. Honestly, we'll probably be back to SC and this place is a decent part of the reason why. Cannot express enough how much we enjoyed this place! *edit to add that at the time there was some sort of a seasonal drink on the menu that included peas and my sister thought it was to die for!”

“Lunch...terrific. started with fried green tomato blt sandwich that was off the chart. Sinfully delicious... now that I have your attention please note this sandwich was paired with deviled eggs. An over-the-top combination that takes you to an over-the-top state of pure bliss. Rest assured that you will be in a dream state after this meal.”

“Great restaurant! We had lunch here after walking around the park and rainbow row, conveniently located. The grilled salmon was absolutely delicious and the gazpacho was refreshing and tasty. The tacos were just okay, they were the best but they good for lunch. Mahi was the best, tuna is a seared tuna btw and the shrimp was just okay and fried. Landon, our server was on top of our waters and very nice. Great vibes and would come back!- Insta @ SpicyAivy”

“4 stars! Consistently great food this first trip to this area! Once for lunch and then for dinner. Pecan crusted fried chicken and short ribs were amazing. Of course the seafood was fresh as well. I love a great place that we find on own own but then comes highly recommended. Back of the house checked in on us as well as a few others! Locals know ;)”

“Best omakase in Charleston and probably South Carolina. On par with places I’ve been in Seattle and NYC. You won’t be disappointed. One of the better sake selections I’ve ever seen and Chris knows his stuff. If you like high quality omakase you need to snag a reservation here.”

“Great vibe! Lots of fun people having a great time! The food is excellent--some of the best scallops I have ever had, very juicy and tender. Whatever you do, do not skip the key lime pie!! Oh my gosh. They lightly brown the top (like a creme brûlée) and I cannot tell you how it just pushed the already divine pie over the top and into paradise. So delicious. Who would have thought?”

“Had a spectacular lunch at another restaurant and went over the top with dinner at FIG. Arugula salad + ricotta gnocchi with lamb bolognese + desert of strawberry profiteroles with greek yogurt. Off-the-chart meal capped off an unbelievable food day in Charlestown. If I eat another meal this good in this city I may never leave Charlestown. Wow!”

“A couple weeks ago, I took someone special to Halls for his birthday! The love, care and respect we received were matched only by exquisite cuisine and stellar service. In fact, so people waited on us, sadly we could not keep up with names! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for such a lovely experience. We will be back! And I so enjoy playing Gospel Brunch! :)Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options are exquisite! Halls is very attentive to dietary restrictions, and made a few items the way we needed. Thanks for that!Dietary restrictions: I enjoyed the scallops so much! I can eat most seafood and vegetarian options, but sadly don’t digest red meat well. I leave that for my guests!”

“We devoured the most epic dinner at Azur Charleston last night to celebrate our anniversary! If you haven't been, get ready for a taste bud explosion! We started with fancy cocktails that made us feel like high rollers, then feasted on an Azur burger with beef braised in burgundy on a croissant bun - it was like a party in our mouths! And don't even get me started on the lamb wrap with Boston lettuce and crème fraiche, it was like a flavor bomb went off! The service was top-notch, especially when we sat at the bar and got entertained by the bartender's fancy mixology tricks. What a night to remember in downtown Charleston!”

“Many of the local restaurants are overrated, but not Charleston Grill. Great ambiance, service, and the food is fantastic. The knowledgeable staff will help with a wine or cocktail selection to add to your experience. I recommend a jacket for men as this is an upscale venue. Go here, it's worth it.”

“Shiki looks unassuming on the outside, but the food is amazing and the interior is adorable! Since it is such a small space, you need a reservation to guarantee a spot. I was able to make same day reservations though! We got lucky, someone canceled! Even though this is a sushi spot, they had vegetarian options, and they had non-sushi options like the pork katsu. Their veggie sushi roll was SO good. I love when places get creative with veggie rolls and put a variety of veggies in. I also tried the roll that had lemon and jalapeño. I'm not the biggest fan of crab, but this roll was amazing. The lemon adds the perfect amount of zest! Plus, it's fun to try rolls I've never seen before. Even though we were absolutely stuffed, I needed to order the fried ice cream. It was SO GOOD. The fry batter is super light and crispy, and the red bean ice cream was amazing. If you're in Charleston, you should definitely try to get a reservation here!”
