“We rolled into town starving after a long drive and this was the first place we stumbled onto. We were greeted by all the staff we saw and had Super friendly service throughout. The fish sandwich grilled was delicious - perfectly cooked and seasoned and a decent portion for the price. The fries were crispy and well seasoned - I didn't even need ketchup which I always use. We returned the next day and had the bang bang shrimp which was very very good - perfectly cooked and just the right amount of coating. The fish tacos were again, perfectly cooked. The potato salad was also delicious, but if you don't like mustard it may not be for you. Bartender was awesome and super friendly. Outside patio is great with beautiful view. We were asked by manager and staff how things were. Really just a great place. Check it out!“

“My wife and I were visiting the area and wanted to eat at a local restaurant. I made a reservation about 10 days out. We arrived early and were seated at the bar (our choice). First off, the menu was very unique with an Italian spin on the food. We split the white shrimp appetizer, the Caesar salad and she ordered the tilefish and I had the bolognese. We had a bottle of wine as well. Michael the bartender was multitasking BIG time but his service was off the charts. Probably the best meal we've had (eating out) in years. Call ahead and arrive with your appetite!“

“This is a very happening place with beautiful views on Isle of Palms, South Carolina. The Islander 71 staff was attentive, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was inviting. The menu was simple and had a nice variety of proteins. I would dine here again when in town.(Con: I asked our server twice for crushed red pepper and received no condiment nor a response)“

“First time at LICafe'. I believe we have a new favorite! Undoubtedly the best seafood ever eaten! We tried the Fried Shrimp and the Crab Stuffed Grouper. Both were to die for. Ordered the Crème Brûlée for dessert...another winner. The best ever. Have already made another reservation for later in the week.“

“This place never disappoints. Our server Lindsey was helpful and friendly. The seafood was very fresh and the sides were plentiful. Our served recommended the mud pie and I must say I was very pleased. We will be back every trip we make to IOP.“

“We started with the Shuck and Savor experience. Chef Thalita Smith and Manager Sydney were amazing in explaining the oysters, the procurement process, and the wine in pairing with them. We learned so much!Then we went for dinner and were amazed again! Manager Dana was able to seat us right away. She was so attentive! Chef Thalita is so good at what she does! She was so personable and knowledgeable. Our server, Nick was so on top of things and his demeanor made our whole experience amazing! By the way - his chocolate milk made our son smile!The oysters were amazing, the Asian salad was so refreshing, the kids chicken strips for our son were huge, and the dessert-ASTOUNDING!Thank you! We can’t wait to visit again!“

“We HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. My boyfriend and I ate here twice during my birthday-vacay weekend. Chef's Kiss!! The quality and freshness of the food was outstanding! We went to some neighboring We had the devil eggs, crab cakes (the best that I have ever eaten), shrimp, scallops, spinach, etc. Our waiter, Jeremy, was friendly and provided excellent service! The ambience was perfect. This is what you expect to receive when you travel to the beach (Isle of Palms).! We went to other restaurants, one neighboring popular place, and the food was so disappointing and the service was slow. The flounder was in the shape of a square like a frozen public school lunch meal. Choose the Refuge! We loved everything about it!“

“Amazing staff! They were so kind and accommodating. I even reached out to them about reserving a table and they said they normally don't do reservations but they told me to come at a certain time. The food was great! We all agreed the fries were a little soggy and not too crispy. They forgot my friend's shrimp but immediately brought it out. The drinks were so good too!“

“We had the restaurant week menu. The food was delicious but the portions for dinner and dessert were extremely small (a small plate portion). I'm not sure if that was due to restaurant week or if the portions are always that small. Definitely not worth the money for the portion size. Unfortunate, because the food was very good. The staff was terrific and the service was great.“

“I can't say enough wonderful things about the service that my family received this past weekend at the Boathouse at Breach Inlet. Craig Arthur "moved mountains" to accommodate our party of eighteen for my daughter's grad school graduation & engagement celebration dinner. The food was absolutely scrumptious and we were taken care of like royalty by Kacey and Jazmine! The sunset view from our table was spectacular!“
