“We have been excited to try this restaurant. The service was very good and it was not too crowded like everything else in North Charleston. My wife had a wrap and enjoyed it. I got the burger with an egg on it. It could have been good but the egg was already broken leaving the bottom bun soggy ?‍?. And then I ordered medium well and it came out medium rare. I actually did not even eat but half due to this. We are not ones to complain but I do give very unbiased reviews. I think this place has a lot of potential and I am chalking up my burger as a mistake. Maybe try them out.“

“This is a little restaurant in the middle of goose creek. I was out there for work randomly and decided to give them a try after searching for local spots. They have a pretty substantial menu plus daily specials so it took me awhile to decide. I went with the pork chop special with two sides. It’s pretty traditional southern cooking. Lots of fried sides and fried meats. For sides I went with fried squash and Mac and cheese. The pork chops were a little tough but they almost always are everywhere I’ve tried. The Mac and cheese and squash were a little bland to me, but nothing some salt and pepper and Texas Pete couldn’t help fix. I would definitely go back and try some other things if I’m in the area. It seemed like a spot that has a ton of regulars for breakfast and lunch.“

“Had a wonderful dinner at Middleton restaurant and we didn't have to pay for garden entrance if you are here for di bed.The place was very quaint and the view of the garden from the restaurant was so lovely.The host and the waiters were helpful and friendly. They served dinner rolls and they were made by local bakery , Saffron bakery.We had scallops as our appetizer and they were sit on top of mashed yolk, mustard, mayo and Lima beans with bits of crunchy bacons, so so good.For our dinner, we had local grouper with red lentils and egg plants and butcher cut sirloin about 7-8 oz on top of creamy mashed potatoes and green beans. Both entrees were so good.For dessert, I chose the chocolate mousse cake and all their dessert are from Saffron bakery.The restaurant is a non profit restaurant so the restaurant didn't charge us tax on our bill. We were so surprise and very happy about it so if you don't know this then now you know :)I really recommend this place and we'll be back with the kids next time.“

“This place never disappoints! We have never had a bad meal here!!Tonight I had the most delicious ribeye cooked medium rare with a baked tater and a salad.Appetizer was the huge boom boom shrimp. These pieces are so big you need at least two bites to eat one shrimp.Photos are to make your mouth water. No photos of the salad because who really cares about salad at a steak place?Oh...I gave the atmosphere 4 stars because it does get loud with happy people eating wonderful food.“

“I had a wonderful experience! It is a very clean establishment, including the restrooms! Everyone was smiling and welcoming. The food was hot and fresh. I asked for crispy bacon, and they did it. I recommend the fried squash, thin sliced with a couple sides of ranch, and then you can season to taste. Brittney is a terrific server, knowledgeable about the menu options, and very attentive to her customers' needs. If you are an out-of-towner or a local looking for a delicious meal, come on in! “I had a 5 star experience at Neighborhood Tap House. I was blown away by the variety of beers they had on tap (40+!), the space was really welcoming, and service was top notch. The wings were seriously the best I’ve had in Charleston and I haven’t stopped telling people about them! Already can’t wait to come back, I love that everything is made or smoked in house! “I had wanted to try this place for a long time. Finally met my friends for brunch. Our server was great. We had a large party. Everyone wanted separate checks. He was very sweet and constantly checked back to make sure all was great. Inside bit rundown and dreary but clean. I ordered an omelette. Not what I was expecting. Flavor was great but it was flat...sort of looked like a tostada. The herb toast was fantastic. I could have eaten an entire loaf. They have daily specials. Friend got triple berry french toast. I took a bite and it was delicious. Next time I'll have to get that.“

“This place is great!! Wings on Thursday night are half price dine in only. What I didn't understand is why I was told I cannot take the 5 wings my wife had left over home in a box. I'm sorry she didn't eat her 10 Wing limit order, but if I am paying for ten, I am taking those 5 left over home. Ended up getting a box, but shouldn't have to ask why. I know some people may order extras to take home when it's dine in only, and that is wrong, but if I get full at 14 wings, I am taking those other 6 I am paying for, even if it's in a napkin in my pocket.“

“We had the Nashville Smoked Chicken Dip and it was 4/5 good. Was expecting shredded chicken but it was chunks and if there was spice we couldn’t tell. We then shared smashies and fries chicken sandwich. The smashies was 4/5 and the fried chicken sandwich 5/5. But the best part of the meal was the Brussels and Burnt Ends. The Brussels Sprouts were cooked just to my liking and the burnt ends were a good twist to what would be bacon5/5. Service was 5/5. The menu is very simple. I think for convenience and the atmosphere this place is 5/5.“

“Our waiter was great, but i guess hostess went to bathroom and we were sent from front to back, multiple times. I was not the only one, we were three families. There was a guy looks like under the influence allowed to sit on the rocking chairs, he had blood on his shirt, trying to shake hands with patrons, allowed to get inside and walked back and forth by the kitchen, multiple times. My fries were liked fried multiple times and soaked all the oil later out waiter brought me another one, but by then I was done eating so can't enjoy much. Overall, I may or may not go back.Dietary restrictions: I don't eat pork, so I ate steak but puzzled that you have beyond meat option but don't have Turkey.My steak was the best thing and mac and cheese was pretty good too“

“This place is great! Under new management so I’d avoid the old reviews since it just reopened and is no longer smoke filled. They have a limited food menu of common bar food, we had the the mozzarella sticks and jalapeño poppers and those were some of the best I’ve ever had. “I went with 3 others on a sunny Saturday after attending Brewvival nearby. We were seated immediately, right at the front of the restaurant by the big windows that were streaming light into the bar area. This is a fantastic date spot and venue for small groups of friends who want to enjoy some good conversation. I am sure I will be back soon!“

“The wings are breaded which I don't typically like but these were actually really good. I did prefer the hot wings more than the lemon pepper though. The fried okra was delicious. We also got the catfish bites which were tasty, but I do wish they'd had a regular hot sauce (like Texas pete or something) to dip in, other than the wing hot sauce. It is a small restaurant, like 5 tables if I remember correctly. But there wasn't a wait and ordering was pretty easy. My only recommendation would be for the bathroom to get a good cleaning done in it.“

“Good food, though don't know why some other review said the wings were huge. Sweet tea from Lipton but sure is sweet.Got the meat & three with country fried steak, sides of okra soup, collard greens, and Mac n cheese. Also got an appetizer of Geechie wings.Think this southern soul food tastes nice, little tang in the soup, guessing from mustard seasoning, and a little pepper in the collard greens, but overall pretty mild flavors. Or maybe they just meld well. Not overly salty or the like.“

The owner (Laura) knows exactly what she’s doing in her establishment. She has great events on her calendar throughout the year. “What a wonderful stay we had at the North Charleston Marriott!! Jessica at the front desk is absolutely incredible!! She was very sweet, professional and accommodating to all the guests…a true gem! Housekeeping also did a great job and we love that they even offer housekeeping since some hotels don’t in these post-Covid days. This hotel is in a great location, just off I-26, close to the outlet stores and restaurants, but far enough away from all the traffic in that area. Our room was a King Junior Suite and it was very spacious, with one and a half bathrooms, and a comfortable couch. Not a lot of drawer storage for clothes (2 small drawers in the desk & 1 under the safe), but there was plenty of room to hang clothes to the left of the closet, so it all worked out. You can also hang some things in the small armoire/closet, but the items hang front to back, so it’s a little difficult to access things. The safe was plenty roomy and the bath and bed linens were nice. The bed is softer than our bed at home, but we both slept pretty well. We loved the walk-in shower and the water pressure and temperature were truly great! The bathrooms had built-in night lights behind the mirrors and the bed had this really cool ambient lighting above/behind the headboard that could be turned on or off. Lots of extra seating in this room with several chairs and the L shaped couch. The tv selection was just “ok”, in part because several of the channels, such as HGTV, did not come in. The wifi worked well at times, but no so well at other times. The AC worked well and there were plenty of places to charge your electronic devices. We ate dinner at the restaurant and Kelly & Becca were our severs on different nights. The food at the restaurant, HC Provisions, was excellent!! We had the wings, the chicken and waffles, the Caesar salad and the housemaid chips and they were all excellent! This hotel seems to be a popular venue for events. There was one going on Saturday night and we noticed several business functions going on during our stay as well. Crystal and Sheila were in the M Club Lounge at breakfast time and they were both great and did a great job of keeping everything well stocked. The breakfast offered scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, potatoes, yogurt, cereal, muffins and pastries, hot oatmeal and biscuits and gravy till 10am. During the rest of the day, you could pop in for coffee, water, sodas and juices as well as snacks such as chips and cookies. The evening offered hors d’oeuvres but the one night (Monday) we arrived at 7:20pm, everything was already being cleaned up, so I guess we missed it. The outdoor area offered a pool and two fire pit areas which would be great to sit and catch up with friends and family if you were here with a small group. We had such a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel and we would stay here again.“

“Visited Crowfield bar and Grill in Goose Creek tonight for the buffet. Two different entrees, salad(fresh and flavorful), garlic knots and dessert. The patrons, all golfers, were friendly and smiling. Pleasant atmosphere.“
