There are a lot of hotels nearby and I wonder how many guests are here for the Phil Wickham concert. Order your bowl at the counter and the kitchen will call your order number when your food's ready. When we got our bowls I can tell this place honors the Southern way of dining. Take your time and let your meal fill your empty stomach. I'd take this over any hotel breakfast. I didn't have to eat again until the next morning.“

Second time around, the pizza the sauce was very sweet and the cheese didn't seem the same.We have enough pizza places with sweet pizza sauce. Being from Beaufort, SC I know all about Alvin Ord's so it was a pleasant surprise to have one so close to my apartment while I lived in Charleston.The sandwiches, always made to order, are fresh and flavorful every time. We then shared smashies and fries chicken sandwich. The smashies was 4/5 and the fried chicken sandwich 5/5. But the best part of the meal was the Brussels and Burnt Ends. The Brussels Sprouts were cooked just to my liking and the burnt ends were a good twist to what would be bacon5/5. Service was 5/5. The menu is very simple. Doordash refuse to do anything at all, told me to lie to Chick-fil-A and say I never received the milkshake. I called Chick-fil-A to let them know because they deserve to know who they are doing business with . “Had a chance to try Basil during restaurant week 2024. Starting with the fried wontons (not pictured I forgot to grab a picture before I devoured them) very nice, different in taste because they’re not crab but not different in a bad way. Good portion app with about 8-10 served in it. The Pad Thai and Pad See Eu were both great dishes and very flavorful. With good portion sizes. I had the Pad Thai medium and felt as if it could’ve easily been a mild so the server was gracefully able to provide additional spice (garlic chili paste) so feel on the safe side ordering knowing the spice level will not be overbearing. For dessert I had the Raspberry Cheesecake which was amazingly light and soft, not dense at all it was a dream to finish the meal with. The mixed drink was the Creamy Lemon Cake which was very delicious and almost felt like a dessert in of itself. It had an actual lemon cake aftertaste with little to no alcohol taste during or after the drink. Our server was incredibly kind, happy to serve, and had a bubbly welcoming personality. Safe to say I will definitely be back here for more.Parking: Parking is what it is in park circle for dinner on a Saturday. We were able to park on the side street for a short under 3 minute walk to the restaurant.“

“This is absolutely the best welcome home after living in Austin for 3 years to taste the brisket coming out of this restaurant literally had my tongue on fiesta.
