My husband had the sweet and spicy chicken drummettes, which were also delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection and the servings were so generous that we could have easily shared one meal. “Ordered chicken empanadas to go. They were delicious. Seriously they were ridiculous. Good texture, right amount of filling to dough ratio, the chicken was seasoned good and they’re 4 for $13. Definitely worth it. The wait wasn’t too bad, just lets you know it’s fresh. The staff is very friendly and bilingual so don’t be intimidated because it’s not worth missing out on this place.“

“We were going to go someplace else for seafood but the wait was just incredibly long. So we came to Gilligan's by default after hunting for an alternate place online. What a Divine Intervention! The food was good and we had a wonderful server named Natalie who contributed to our great dining experience. The complimentary hush puppies were unexpected but so delicious! Our entrees were unexpectedly large. So to-go boxes were necessary. We get to continue the tasty experience at home. Yummy! The manager Jesse was very kind as well. We left there happy and full. “Parking: There are two areas to park. The closest being for those with any form of disability. And another some feet away for general parking. Service: The service was very good. With this being our first time here, the servers were patient with us and answered every question that we had. They also gave their recommendations on what they like which I appreciate. The buffalo shrimp was good, Camp rolls amazing, and so was the grouper bites! The Hushpuppies were also delicious. There was an option to add scallions and I had to choke to have them blackened which was one of the best decisions I have made in my life. That was the best scallions I've ever had! The dessert options was overwhelming because I wanted to try everything, but I resorted to the bourbon chocolate pecan pie which was very flavorful! Ambiance: Ambiance was great. We had a seat outside in the shade where the weather was perfect with sweet tea in hand. Another thing I'd like to point out is how clean the bathroom was which I feel a lot of places need to add attention to. Though it was warm outside the bathroom was clean, cold, and smelled amazing. Opportunities: We tried the greens as a side and we weren't a fan of them. That, in my opinion won't deduct any points from me since everyone does theirs differently and I'm sure someone will like it. Overall: We went there for a celebration and I'm glad that we did. The food, customer service, and the staff were amazing. I can't wait to make my return there for the camp rolls, scallions, or possibly something new! Also if the staff needs any photos for yelp please don't hesitate to ask!“

“We discovered Hall’s Chophouse when we first moved to Charleston in 2019 and it became a favorite. Once the Nexton location opened it has become my most favorite Brunch spot and steakhouse for special occasions and treating visitors to a part of Beautiful Charleston, SC.“

“My first time here! I was welcome and served by Ms. Brandy. I was welcomed and seated very quickly. The menu has plenty of choices for seafood lovers, kids, and non-seafood meals. I ordered the combo basket which had shrimp and fish. The order came with a healthy portion of fries. I also got a side order of chips and salsa! The food was very fresh. Came out hot. But the flavor of the food was wonderful!!! I can tell the oil used to fry in is clean and fresh. It didn’t have that old dirty oil taste. It was wonderful! The home made tarter sauce was great! Probably they best I’ve had. Only complaint was that I wanted more! It was a good portion of sauce. However, the portion of salsa could have been more generous. But I’m sure if I would have asked for more they would have given me more. Brandy took great care of me and kept my glass filled and checked in on me just enough, but not too much. She was a very busy bee. She was serving inside and outside and never slowed down. She’s a very attentive waitress and I enjoyed her company and service. Lovely place and I hope I get the opportunity to come back again with my family. I wouldnt change a thing about my meal or the food. Only thing I can suggest is to wipe the walls down next to the tables. It’s a seafood place so I can only assume shuckin and shellin gets messy.“

“I've been here twice so far and both times it was amazing! Sp fresh, clean and the service is always great. The bowls really fill you up too and having something filling and healthy is always nice. “Had a wonderful dinner at Middleton restaurant and we didn't have to pay for garden entrance if you are here for di bed.The place was very quaint and the view of the garden from the restaurant was so lovely.The host and the waiters were helpful and friendly. They served dinner rolls and they were made by local bakery , Saffron bakery.We had scallops as our appetizer and they were sit on top of mashed yolk, mustard, mayo and Lima beans with bits of crunchy bacons, so so good.For our dinner, we had local grouper with red lentils and egg plants and butcher cut sirloin about 7-8 oz on top of creamy mashed potatoes and green beans. Both entrees were so good.For dessert, I chose the chocolate mousse cake and all their dessert are from Saffron bakery.The restaurant is a non profit restaurant so the restaurant didn't charge us tax on our bill. We were so surprise and very happy about it so if you don't know this then now you know :)I really recommend this place and we'll be back with the kids next time.“

“This is one of my favorite places to visit when I want something quick but filling. The staff is always welcoming and give very good suggestions. I love the Da Kine is my favorite but they are all delicious. If you want something sweet and cold I definitely recommend the mochi (get the trio). It's bright, clean, and welcoming!!!!“

“Crab Du Jour was great. They have a great selection of finger foods if you're willing to get down and dirty. As well as an assortment of on plate choices if you're not feeling the mess. Marquelle was awesome and cordial; our drinks never went empty. We were approached by multiple people as well who tended to us as needed. Pricing varies for what you want to eat. It is on the higher side of the seafood market. I, however, consider it worth since not many Cajun places do it this good.“

“Got blue crab here fresh. We live in columbia SC, and I've been looking for a place to buy live blue crab close to our place, but I failed. Luckily, my husband had a company party at Charleston. Upon checking places nearby, I found this place Marvin's seafood, I'm glad I chose this place among other places, their blue crabs are fresh and comes with different sizes to choose from, they also have different fishes, price are very reasonable. Will definitely come back for blue crab.“

“This hidden place is pure awesome. Everytime I visit Charleston I have to get at least one meal from here. They say "garlic," they mean it! The crab legs are so well done. The fish is fried to perfection. Piled high with their butter it's messy and you'll be happy for it. Prepare to wait a little while, but it's worth the wait as everything is made fresh.“

“Wow this place is great! We had a group of 7 and had 2 of the seafood madness boils.We were very satisfied! It was more than we expected. There was corn, sausage, potatoes, crab legs, crawfish, shrimp and mussels all perfectly seasoned. We also had the soft shell crab that was delicious. My daughter just moved here to South Carolina and any time we visit this will be the place we go for seafood!“

“I was not impressed when I visited a while back. I found out why: I was not served by Antoine last time, and that made 100% of the difference. The food was better, the atmosphere was more fun, even the wait when there was one was nice. The place is 4 stars' worth, but Antoine is a 6.“

“The convenience store you have to walk through to get to the restaurant ordering window is one of the nastiest I've ever seen in my life, BUT Rai Shaun's food was fantastic. I had lima beans and rice with a big piece of hambone in it and shrimp and grits. My wife had the okra soup, fried fish and the best crab cake we've ever eaten (I had to steal a taste) at any price. Rai Shaun is a great cook and super friendly guy. Good luck and I hope you can open a sit down restaurant soon and get out of that convenience store.“

“I never had a maui maui sandwich (garlic butter style) before so this was a first great experience of the fish. I just wished it was a little bit more seasoned, so I recommend getting it blackened. Most of the flavors came from the sauces and toppings. I even order fried shrimp which were delicious. Good fries too!“

“We had the Nashville Smoked Chicken Dip and it was 4/5 good. Was expecting shredded chicken but it was chunks and if there was spice we couldn’t tell. We then shared smashies and fries chicken sandwich. The smashies was 4/5 and the fried chicken sandwich 5/5. But the best part of the meal was the Brussels and Burnt Ends. The Brussels Sprouts were cooked just to my liking and the burnt ends were a good twist to what would be bacon5/5. Service was 5/5. The menu is very simple. I think for convenience and the atmosphere this place is 5/5.“

“It's definitely a different experience than what I was used to. There are no utensils unless asked. It's not all that bad it makes for a More amusing time when with a group. The portion sizes match the price, the food was cooked perfectly, and music was loud enough to enjoy but low enough to not ruin conversation. Me and the wife enjoyed the occasional dance in our seats. The staff was nice but my waiter was a little odd?. I'd like to go again but the price is pretty high for multiple trips in a week my party of 8 cost us 258$. Hope you have just as good a time.“

“I ended up at this lil quiet place by chance. After receiving poor service at Marvin's my family and I drove 8 miles down the road (on top of driving to Charleston) just for some FRESH seafood??. These wonderful ppl were LITERALLY CLOSING BC THEY RAN OUT OF SEAFOOD, but managed to MAKE OUR DAY!!!
