“Theo made the most amazing Old Fashioned… this is my second. I’m from Louisville Kentucky and never had an old fashioned like this had to come back for seconds…Later that evening I watched Theo’s professionalism and was blown away.. I watch him study a wine glass ensuring there wasn’t a single spot prior to pouring wine… that level of detail is rare to witness in this fast paced world.I will continue to make this Crown Plaza and Jackson’s Bluff my number one business and pleasure location when visiting Augusta and that is because of this kind of service.RespectfullyLawrence”

“Brinkley's is setting the standard for dining out in the CSRA. The valet service is extremely convenient. The hostess stand was super friendly. Our waitress was very attentive. The chef and kitchen staff sent out nicely plated food that was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. Whether you want to go for an elevated steak dinner or just a burger, you will leave satisfied. I took my mom, and we started off with handcrafted cocktails from the liquor genius behind the bar. We had a tequila cocktail and a Bombay Sapphire gin martini that had basil syrup in it (on the cocktail list, I just can't remember the names of them). I highly recommend both. We started out with the wedge and asked to split it because one serving will easily feed two. I love how they put salad dressing on the bottom of the plate in addition to a drizzle over the wedge itself. Both of us got the burger. I got mine with bacon and blue cheese. Hands down, Brinkley's has the best burger in town. Even the table sitting next to us commented on what a good-looking burger it was. I substituted truffle fries for my side, and they were cooked perfectly. They were crispy on the outside, tender and moist on the inside and had the perfect amount of truffle on them. I would describe Brinkley's as a neighborhood gem. If you want to celebrate a special occasion or simply go and sit at the bar for small plates, you will be happy that you dined at Brinkley's.”

“Old McDonald Fish Camp has a great selection of seafood. They also will either broil or fry it for you. They have the best grits and hushpuppies too! A great place to visit and have dinner too!!Parking: There are plenty of parking spaces available.Kid-friendliness: They have geese,peacocks,ducks and goats for the kids to feed. You can buy small cups of food to feed them.”

“The poutine, fried ravioli and meats in the entrees were delicious. However, the fresh garden vegetable sides were not seasoned at all and were very much lack-luster. It seemed like they just steamed them & put them in the plate. Had to add salt and pepper to them.”

“A great place for an evening dinner with my girlfriend as we celebrated her birthday dinner out together. From the time we were seated to finishing our mea, we were treated with care and respect. The staff was courteous and the chef prepared our steaks as requested. I highly recommend experiencing this with your favorite person. “It is SO CRAZY to see how this store out performs many of the restaurants in Augusta & North Augusta. Incredible work ethic & service, a lot of restaurants & various businesses should come here, grab a donut & watch the work ethic that spills through this place. The donuts is incredible, the dedication to making this taste like heaven on earth is unfathomable. What does it taste like? It tastes like the foods that we've all wanted to try, like the Krabby Patty from SpongeBob, the Jawbreakers from Ed, Edd n' Eddy, the Krunch Time Perfect Candy from Jimmy Neutron. If these donuts were in the cartoons that we all used to watch, I can tell you that it taste exactly what you thought it would be when you were 5-12 years old. Inside the shop always gets crowded, although I think they should definitely restructure how the customer line & seating goes but honestly I couldn't think of anything myself because people go in & then they're out. The line is quick. You can tell some people come here grumpy & anxious but after that first bite of that donut, it's game over. Lmao”

The ribs, chopped pork, brisket and burnt ends were all out of this world delicious. The macaroni and cheese is right out of an after church Sunday supper. I have enough food to eat for 2 more days.....but I suspect I'll be having a midnight snack just thinking about the leftovers”

“I Recently moved to North Augusta. A friend from Savannah called to tell me about McNeelys Place. What a treat my first visit was. Homemade Chicken Pie, collard greens, wonderful Mac and cheese and good cornbread. Even the tea was great. I felt like I had stepped back in time and was eating at my Mothers table. The dining rooms were attractive and spotlessly clean. The staff was friendly and efficient. We met the cook who was delightful in addition to being talented. I brought home a box of delicious vegetables. Already planning my next visit.”

“We go there about once a week. Their buffett is excellent, and everything is Homemade. They always have a good selection of meats, vegetables, fruits & desserts as well as a full salad bar. The extra special thing is "our waitress, Amy". She is friendly and attentive. As soon as she sees us walk in, she gets our drinks and silverware & gets our table ready. There are several waitresses that really bust their tails to take care of the customers even though it's a buffet. Great place.”

“After a depressing morning, all I wanted was a good cup of coffee and a place to study peacefully. I was recommended to go to Cavalier's Coffeehouse and I have no regrets. When I walked in, it was a little smaller than I expected but it is a cute little cafe with three tables and a cozy sofa section. It wasn't very crowded and the music was at a decent volume for you to be able to think and work/study. As for the coffee itself, I got the drink of the week which is Cinnamon Dulce Latte (1/3 cinnamon, 1/3 caramel, and 1/3 honey). They seem to have different deals every day of the week which is very nice so look out for them! And guess what, it was real coffee! Not burnt or overly sweet (as if they are trying to hide something *cough cough* Starbucks). They only have one size available which kind of sucks but as a person who always orders small, it was perfect for me. The price range was good as well; my latte was $4.50ish. I would definitely recommend coming here if you want to get away from the downtown part of Augusta and want to just work/study in peace.”

While I was there i paid attention to the staff and there is one female there that tends to go to the bathroom every 5 mins and she stay in there for 20 mins that's strange. Her grandparents came to America from Mexico (Sinaloa and Nuevo León) and brought their traditional recipes with them. I grew up in a primarily Mexican neighborhood in southern California, so we both know what good Mexican food is; trust, we're harsh critics when it comes to Mexican food. I've worked with people from Mexico who say that outside of Mexico, the best Mexican food comes from California. If we endorse this place, then you can trust my review.”

“Located where Sweet Fig used to be West Avenue has become a great replacement. It's so cute and has a lot to offer. They have so many savory pies you can pick up to take home to make. They have large ones to feed the entire family or individual ones. I tried the Sunday dinner one and it was definitely tasty (took 50 minutes to bake). I've also gotten the chicken salad on my than on occasion...again it comes in multiple sizes. Would check their Facebook page as they will post the cakes and pies they have (I think recent ones have been from Cotten Bug). I also love all the goodies they have including some jams, honey, items from other local businesses like Watanut (which is great since I can almost never make it to the Watanut store before they close). I've also gotten some cute Christmas earrings so hoping they will have other ones now that the holidays are almost over.”

Subway is still making trash a$$ subs that look like a grody girl when the night club lights come on. All talk and no ingredients. You gotta buss that bread open just to take a peak at the meats. Usually I appreciate a tucked in appearance, but not with my subs. I wanna see them meat thangs hangin'. I could easily take this sub outta the wrapper, hold it bare handed while driving through New York rush hour traffic and not drop one ingredient on me. The food just isn't there. The employees will look you straight in the eye and make your sub that looks nothing like the picture on the wall behind them.Staff was nice this time and I really appreciated that.Boycott back in effect.”

All in all, nice little stop for some premium cupcakes. The server could have been a little more personable, just acting in generally distracted or preoccupied.--The German Chocolate cupcake was probably our favorite, with a generous caramel/coconut topping and dark chocolate cake. Or it may have tied with the Cannoli Cupcake, which had a deliciously crispy filled Cannoli with a touch of cinnamon. The chocolate filled was pretty good, but the filling was little sparse. The coconut cake did tasted as the name suggests.”

What truly set this establishment apart was their sauce. The sauce at The Pot Smokers BBQ is simply to die for. It added the perfect amount of tanginess and flavor to the already mouthwatering pulled pork. I couldn't resist dipping every bite of my sandwich into this heavenly creation. What made the experience even more memorable was the warm and friendly atmosphere. The folks at The Pot Smokers BBQ really know how to make their customers feel welcome. From the moment I walked up[, I was greeted with genuine smiles and great hospitality. It's evident that they understand the importance of community and supporting local initiatives. I want to give special recognition to Robert, who went above and beyond to make my visit exceptional. His dedication to both HOTS Head of the South and the community as a whole is truly commendable. “Today I ventured out to El Teresa's. The food was pretty decent. I got the Arroz Con Pollo Texas style which has shrimp, chicken and steak. Good portion sizes and really fills you up. Plenty of servers constantly checking in on you so you feel welcomed and appreciated. All smiling faces and friendly.Authentic Mexican food is my weakness and normally they are amazing but my sister got the wrong thing brought out the first time she ordered and it wasn't fully cooked. I guess it's normally a hit but tonight it was more of a miss.The place itself is cute and quaint. Plenty of tvs to watch movies or games and lots of hand painted murals all over the walls. I love the feel and authenticity of this place. I will be back but tonight wasn't the best.”

“What a great surprise. We had spicy chicken, spicy beef, and spicy shrimp. All meals came with Fried rice and egg rolls. All were great. It's my favorite non-pretentious Asian food so far near Aiken. Don't expect to impress a date here. It's a small drive through. Menus are simple. Cash only. The few people there were really busy cooking our food to to order. (Nothing was warmed up. We saw it being cooked) This place will be a regular for us.”

I live 1.2 miles from the restaurant and once I place my order I leave immediately and I always get the notification on the app that is ready! Amazing service. Definitely satisfied .
