“The service was wonderful, the steak was charred and overcooked. It was supposed to be medium-rare but it was cooked a bit over medium and had a burnt-tasting charred side that was not appealing. My wife had the exact same steak and hers was cooked beautifully... so your mileage may vary. I should have sent it back but I didn't want to spoil our date night. The crab fondue was really delicious.“

“I Recently moved to North Augusta. A friend from Savannah called to tell me about McNeelys Place. What a treat my first visit was. Homemade Chicken Pie, collard greens, wonderful Mac and cheese and good cornbread. Even the tea was great. I felt like I had stepped back in time and was eating at my Mothers table. The dining rooms were attractive and spotlessly clean. The staff was friendly and efficient. We met the cook who was delightful in addition to being talented. I brought home a box of delicious vegetables. Already planning my next visit.“

“Great eclectic little spot in a nice location. Ordered the Bacon cheeseburger and sweet potato fries. All were good except for the bacon was WAY undercooked! Bacon, on a cheeseburger should be nice and crisp! The slice of cheese was not melted either. Service was great though. Would try again, and make sure to ask that my bacon be cooked crispy!“

“When a Waffle House is good, it rarely gets better for a good breakfast. This location is better than most. The food was excellent, the grits nearly perfect, and the service was outstanding; and it's within walking distance from our Airbnb.“

And our food came out fast...grilled veggie omelette, dressed up home fries with two over easy eggs, and a shared pecan waffle! It is a dinner with dinner coffee. Huge portions & solid diner food. If you haven't checked this place out yet, it's worth a try. You'll not leave hungry.“

“We stopped for lunch at Wife Savers. It's almost, but not quite, fast food. Chicken is the primary protein but there are a few other options. The fried chicken was very good as were the sides. The food was served quickly and prices are reasonable. We'd go back.“
