“After a depressing morning, all I wanted was a good cup of coffee and a place to study peacefully. I was recommended to go to Cavalier's Coffeehouse and I have no regrets. When I walked in, it was a little smaller than I expected but it is a cute little cafe with three tables and a cozy sofa section. It wasn't very crowded and the music was at a decent volume for you to be able to think and work/study. As for the coffee itself, I got the drink of the week which is Cinnamon Dulce Latte (1/3 cinnamon, 1/3 caramel, and 1/3 honey). They seem to have different deals every day of the week which is very nice so look out for them! And guess what, it was real coffee! Not burnt or overly sweet (as if they are trying to hide something *cough cough* Starbucks). They only have one size available which kind of sucks but as a person who always orders small, it was perfect for me. The price range was good as well; my latte was $4.50ish. I would definitely recommend coming here if you want to get away from the downtown part of Augusta and want to just work/study in peace.“

“Hi, um..there is a barista who works here...I think his name is Skye, anyway, he is literally the BEST starbucks employee I have ever witnessed. Literally everyone I have spoken to about this starbucks literally RAVES about Skye, he just epitomizes happiness and genuine care for people. Please give him a raise, I really don't know him personally but he actually is #starbucksbae.“

“Last two winters when we snow birded here in the Augusta area I never found a good roaster. I'm spoiled by my Vermont roaster where I get my favorite, Italian roast. The baristas at Stone called their boss, the Roaster, to get his recommendation for the closet coffee he had to an Italian roast. Although I was ready to purchase their darkest roast, he recommended his Carbon blend, a medium roast instead. He was right. It's pretty darn good! His baristas ground the beans coarsely for a French press and I had a pot when I got back to the Airbnb. Can not recommend them highly enough. I've found my SC winter roaster.“
