“I Recently moved to North Augusta. A friend from Savannah called to tell me about McNeelys Place. What a treat my first visit was. Homemade Chicken Pie, collard greens, wonderful Mac and cheese and good cornbread. Even the tea was great. I felt like I had stepped back in time and was eating at my Mothers table. The dining rooms were attractive and spotlessly clean. The staff was friendly and efficient. We met the cook who was delightful in addition to being talented. I brought home a box of delicious vegetables. Already planning my next visit.“

“We go there about once a week. Their buffett is excellent, and everything is Homemade. They always have a good selection of meats, vegetables, fruits & desserts as well as a full salad bar. The extra special thing is "our waitress, Amy". She is friendly and attentive. As soon as she sees us walk in, she gets our drinks and silverware & gets our table ready. There are several waitresses that really bust their tails to take care of the customers even though it's a buffet. Great place.“

“A great place for an evening dinner with my girlfriend as we celebrated her birthday dinner out together. From the time we were seated to finishing our mea, we were treated with care and respect. The staff was courteous and the chef prepared our steaks as requested. I highly recommend experiencing this with your favorite person. I was impressed with the menu options from standard American to exotic choices. I plan to taste the Kangaroo on my next visit.“

“I absolutely loved this quaint but full of life little Cafe located in beautiful downtown Augusta right on their Riverwalk. I had heard about the desserts and went in to try some one day and I loved the place so much that I put in an application and now am currently a proud employee of the establishment! I HIGHLY recommend this Cafe as a MUST TRY for everyone who may pass through beautiful Augusta, but especially to the locals because of all the extra things they offer on different nights such as open Mike night, Sunday brunch, and so much more! The place is just awesome! And the peanut butter pie is out of this world!!!“

Ok I really love this place I can't say to much about the food because they didn't have any????????‍♀️???? ran out BUT BUT I did have chicken wings & tater tots I felt 3 ????????????????????‍♀️ BUT it was the BEST vibe EVER. Malcom X was REALLY REALLY GREAT I don't think I laughed that hard in a while I needed that, the chef was also great The wings were done just right. I took my daughter We were able to enjoy the food, weather & the host. I really wanted to try more of the food the "Eatery"part of the name had me disappointed because I wanted food, In ALL I would go back for more wings,wine that also they didn't have & laughs I was able to leave my pocketbook go smoke a cigarette & it was safe I'm from New York we can't do that so that you for allowing me to eat & relax. “I am usually there every Thursday. I always love talking to the lady's inside and shoot the breeze with the brothers outside! Great laid back and quiet atmosphere... I usually get the pulled pork, hash and rice with Mac and cheese. It NEVER fails that it is better each time. As a matter of fact, I am on my way now.“

“We ran into JD and his friend Gaines by chance. He was so nice, we drove back for dinner! Wow!! We are glad we did! Excellent cocktail menu. Our waiter was outstanding! The food was incredible! “This is my second review of Honey from the Rock Cafe. Visited again in February 2019 and had a superb meal. The Chicken Tenders were outstanding, the squash casserole as good as my Grandma used to make - and that's saying something! “So we used to come here, and it was often hit or miss, so we stopped going as much. Sometimes, too greasy, sometimes the chicken too dry, sometimes tasted way too smoked and not edible, but I swear ever since Jim and Nick's opened, this spot has done either a revamp or they got a new chef! The food has been amazing and the sides on point! We are super happy to give our money back to this place!“

“Thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to Edgar's. The food was absolutely AMAZING. Everything tasted so good, fresh, and cooked to perfection. Your meal supports the Goodwill programs next store to include providing education for this restaurant like cooking. It is a little pricey. It's worth every penny. The service was a little slow but overall our waiter was kind, informative, and got every order right. The atmosphere is modern, clean, and bright. Will definitely return.“

Unfortunately, I discovered that the lemon pie that I had ordered was not included when I presented it to my mom for lunch.Now I must say, the collard greens were the star of the meal. I briefly spoke with the manager on duty Ashley when she came to check on my table . She was very kind and attentive to the tables in the dinning room .
