Most pizza to me is missing a flavor that I have to dip it in ranch but this pizza is so rich and full of so much flavor! I'm from the north and when I say this is authentic new York style pizza, I mean it. I never write reviews but I have to about this pizza place AND the owner. You can tell he takes pride in his business and he's personable. This is by far my favorite pizza place in low country.”

“I call this spot a brunch gem. I met a longtime friend for Sunday church and chose to come here for a meal to catch up. The place was busy and loud. There are a lot of hotels nearby and I wonder how many guests are here for the Phil Wickham concert. Order your bowl at the counter and the kitchen will call your order number when your food's ready. When we got our bowls I can tell this place honors the Southern way of dining. Take your time and let your meal fill your empty stomach. I'd take this over any hotel breakfast. I didn't have to eat again until the next morning.”

“Daddy's Girls Bakery made my wedding cake and it was absolutely breathtaking and delicious! They were able to take inspiration pictures from Pinterest and create exactly what I wanted! The dried flowers were so pretty and the flavor was amazing. We had chocolate hazelnut and almond. We got so many compliments on it! We also appreciated the amount of tasting samples at the beginning. They really provide you with great experience from start to finish and we will definitely be getting future cakes from here!”

“It was my first time visiting here and everything we had was delicious. We had chicken 65, butter chicken, won ton tacos and garlic naan. The inside of the restaurant is renovated much nicer than you might assume. The prices are extremely fair and the service was great. Everyone that helped us was great but we had a conversation with one of the servers named Roy and he was awesome. Super friendly and kind and makes it obvious he loves what he’s doing. “One of my favorite places in park circle to have a nice cocktail. Great drinks, amazing atmosphere, and incredible staff! We are by no means regulars, but we've been to this location several times and are always impressed. This time we came on a Saturday afternoon. There was plenty of seating and the staff were attentive and knowledgeable. Their drinks are perfection and beautifully presented. We did get a basket of fries as an app this time and they were so delicious! Served very hot and the bearnaise sauce was good enough to lick the ramekin. They have a vast whisky and bourbon collection and bring the bottle to the table along with the glencairn. They have a full bar with nice wine options as well. I haven't had dinner, only a few apps but they are always excellent. We've never been disappointed here!”

“We have been excited to try this restaurant. The service was very good and it was not too crowded like everything else in North Charleston. My wife had a wrap and enjoyed it. I got the burger with an egg on it. It could have been good but the egg was already broken leaving the bottom bun soggy ?‍?. And then I ordered medium well and it came out medium rare. I actually did not even eat but half due to this. We are not ones to complain but I do give very unbiased reviews. I think this place has a lot of potential and I am chalking up my burger as a mistake. Maybe try them out.”

I had the Chicken Bolognese which was also enough for 2 people. It was delicious! Both dishes came with a small salad and a side of pasta. I had creamy Italian dressing on my salad and it was the best I have ever had. The icing on the cake for me was that the owner went to every table and spoke to the customers. “This place is definitely an experience. You can tell the building wasn't originally designed for a KBBQ restaurant. When you first walk inside, it looks more like a nightclub than a sit-down restaurant.Good:843 has the highest quality and best flavored meats I've experienced at an AYCE KBBQ and I've been to several. Getting the premium AYCE menu is soooo worth it! Scallops are a rare option at AYCE and that alone makes it worth the price compared to just a seafood restaurant. All of the food and appetizers were amazing though. A lot of different options and even a large menu of a la carte items if you want more variety.Bad:Charging extra for rice at an AYCE is insane! They wanted $5 for a bowl of plain white rice which is unheard of for me. Any Korean restaurant I've been to will pretty much give you rice for free with your meal. Lettuce wraps were extra as well but other KBBQs charge for that too sometimes so that's not as egregious.Service was also slow but they did appear to be short staffed. It took about 15 minutes just to be seated and the restaurant was nearly empty. This didn't negatively contribute to my score though as the staff was pleasant the entire time so I could overlook that.Overall, I had a great time and would definitely consider 843 next time I'm in the area!”

The service can be a little shaky as you are dealing with culinary students but A for effort! Finding it the first time can be very tricky to say the least, leave yourself plenty of time. It is located on the campus of Trident Community College. There really are no signs. Look for building 920. It has an oval glass concave entryway. They only serve on Thursdays. Menus change regularly. The cost in 2023 is $21.80 including tax. This comes with water, coffee or tea, bread and butter plus 3 courses. I always leave with leftovers for another meal. 11:30/ lunch is the only time for reservations. Bathroom is very clean. Parking is easy as it is a big parking lot.”

“This was my first time going to Waffle House and I loved it! I got the all star breakfast with a waffle, eggs, bacon, toast and hash browns. It was only $11 and you get a ton of food for cheap. The hashbrowns and eggs are good and my waffle was perfect. The service was also very good.”

“According to my teenager the atmosphere was amazing. My husband agrees. Food & service was great however there was an Ebenezer working who was not feeling the Christmas spirit. She took the opportunity to bark at everyone working (I think she may have been a manager although that is debatable) She tapped her foot the entire time with her hands placed firmly on her hips aggressively chastising anyone not speedy enough or even a group of customers choosing the wrong seat. I think she was a blazing racist considering it was only the BIPOC she was raging @ & not white staff. She could definitely use some sensitivity training & a swift kick in the ego. She even picked a fight with a girl half her age & body girth. Tea pot tap dancing Tammy might want to look for work elsewhere. I think this is the waffle house from the tiktok brawls btw . They get wild.”

“I'm a WH fan anyway! It's actually my all-time favorite for breakfast. I walked here from a nearby truckstop. The service was fast, food was hot, server was attentive and kind, and the restroom was clean. I sat for more than 4 hours and even though my meal was over, they checked on me and kept my glass of water topped off. Great Job WH!”

The cucumber salad was a huge hit with both of us. Also the meat sampler platter was HUGE. Easily could have served 4. I was hesitant about the smoked cream cheese, and its the thing I ended up liking the most!! Unique and really good. Don't miss it when you are there. Served with the pita chips it can be a meal in itself. Pickle chips were exactly what you think a fried pickle chip is. Beers were good and worth the 3.79 overall brewery rating on Untapped. Good draft variety, offerings of wine and cider as well for those who don't like/can't have beer. Was quiet the day we were there, but certainly can see it getting busy and loud. Recommend for lunch, absolutely. Wish I could give 4.5 stars. It wasn't quite 5, but it is better than 4.”

I started with a Thai iced coffee, chicken satay, basil rolls, and my girlfriend ordered the fried spring rolls. All were really good! The Thai coffee in particular was a standout. For entrees, I had the chicken pad prik and she had the chicken pad Thai. We both really liked our food! Hers was a lot more sweet than other pad Thai's I have had. The server was very friendly and helpful, but I had to remove a star for how slowly food came out. It took something like 30 minutes for our appetizers to completely come out, we were getting one dish at a time. Inside, the place is a bit run down, but it's still friendly and it wasn't dirty or anything, just looked like they needed to put some real time and effort into fixing some stuff up. A small grocery store with archetypical Indian brands was at the entrance; I didn't have any needs at the time but this business model always made sense to me and I would say it's worth stopping in as I don't think there are any big Indian grocers in Charleston.”

“Great experience! I can’t have dairy so was going to pass and let my family enjoy. But I was told the base is not dairy and I just needed to choose non dairy flavour and toppings. The one I chose turned out to be dairy so they called me up to verify before making. Really appreciated that. Then I told her to choose for me as long as it was non dairy. I was pleasantly surprised to see I still got a chocolate option with brownies for my topping. Tasted great; not like a knock off at all! Was creamy and delicious. There are a lot of hotels nearby and I wonder how many guests are here for the Phil Wickham concert. Order your bowl at the counter and the kitchen will call your order number when your food's ready. When we got our bowls I can tell this place honors the Southern way of dining. Take your time and let your meal fill your empty stomach. I'd take this over any hotel breakfast. I didn't have to eat again until the next morning.”

The chicken empanadilla could use more seasoning but when paired with the dip that came with it, it was pretty good. The star was the pork that comes with the mofongo. It was delicious and had so much flavor.”
