“We were visiting Charleston over the 4th of July. We wanted to take blue crab home, but we needed it steamed. They weren’t steaming on the 4th, but they went out of their way to accommodate us and steam our 3 dozen mixed. My thanks to the staff, they ran a tight ship, and it shows. “Wow this place is great! We had a group of 7 and had 2 of the seafood madness boils.We were very satisfied! It was more than we expected. There was corn, sausage, potatoes, crab legs, crawfish, shrimp and mussels all perfectly seasoned. We also had the soft shell crab that was delicious. My daughter just moved here to South Carolina and any time we visit this will be the place we go for seafood!“

“It's definitely a different experience than what I was used to. There are no utensils unless asked. It's not all that bad it makes for a More amusing time when with a group. The portion sizes match the price, the food was cooked perfectly, and music was loud enough to enjoy but low enough to not ruin conversation. Me and the wife enjoyed the occasional dance in our seats. The staff was nice but my waiter was a little odd?. I'd like to go again but the price is pretty high for multiple trips in a week my party of 8 cost us 258$. Hope you have just as good a time.“

“The convenience store you have to walk through to get to the restaurant ordering window is one of the nastiest I've ever seen in my life, BUT Rai Shaun's food was fantastic. I had lima beans and rice with a big piece of hambone in it and shrimp and grits. My wife had the okra soup, fried fish and the best crab cake we've ever eaten (I had to steal a taste) at any price. Rai Shaun is a great cook and super friendly guy. Good luck and I hope you can open a sit down restaurant soon and get out of that convenience store.“

“I ended up at this lil quiet place by chance. After receiving poor service at Marvin's my family and I drove 8 miles down the road (on top of driving to Charleston) just for some FRESH seafood??. These wonderful ppl were LITERALLY CLOSING BC THEY RAN OUT OF SEAFOOD, but managed to MAKE OUR DAY!!! We just wanted to have a Seafood Mother's Day and these ppl did just that for us (UNLIKE THE NASTY ATTITUDE WE GOT FROM THE SHORT OLE HEAD WITH THE 1 GOLD OUT NO NOT IN I SAID OUT FOR A REASON THE FRONT)!!! Second the food was amazing I got twelve wings and they were some of the best I’ve had in Charleston. Jumbo (absolutely huge) cooked perfectly and beautifully sauced.
