We were traveling and happened upon The Grit Counter. We were really impressed. The food concept is different, unlike any place we’ve been to before. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The food was excellent! The restaurant was very clean and kept up!

This place and the staff is absolutely amazing. The food (grits especially) are out of this world! The flavor combinations were questionable at first, but after trying the flight of grits, they were all spectacular! Things that sounded odd wound up being the most delicious. Zack the bartender made some phenomenal drinks and is super friendly and knowledgeable. Most of the specialty cocktails he has created himself, and are hands down delectable. Highly recommend The Grit Counter!
