“⭐️Makenna⭐️ was our server and the real MVP!!! She was genuine, funny and showed she really cared about our 2 table 12 person party (split into 2 groups by “policy”). For the table we ordered Fried Green Tomatoes, Deviled Eggs and Bow-Wow Shrimp. The Bow-Wow Shrimp was the winner… with the Fried Green Tomatoes with Bacon Jam in close second. If they would just offer the Bacon Jam from the Fried Green Tomato app I’d order just that… it was delicious. The Deviled Eggs came in 8th place out of their 7 apps…Edible but not very good (my humble cholesterol filled opinion). Everybody at my table ordered something different for their entrees. I ordered the Chicken Fried Pork Chop. I agree with other reviews that the batter is too thick but it was really good…I also ordered an Old Fashioned as my drink. To the bartender: one of the best I’ve had.“

“Great sushi!! It is always super fresh and very affordable. The staff is very knowledgeable of the menu and can help with food allergies or questions about different items. Sometimes there is a large wait but that is only because of its popularity and great food.“

“Fish Camp is amazing! I've tried every platter and almost all of the appetizers ?. Calamari is my favorite and they do it well. Dessert options change, so make sure you ask! My favorite so far is the banana pudding cheesecake. Pull up a chair on the patio and enjoy some sweet tea and friendly service ?*adding in my brunch trip today! The beignets are so good and I loved the country fried steak!“

“This is the preferred out of all of my mobile offices. Fantastic atmosphere and I’m likely to run into friends here no matter what day I’m there. Great place to make new ones too! My go to meeting spot and the cold brews are where I’m at. Nitro! Local, family owned, excellently managed! Highly recommend!“

“Erica, Josie and Alex are extraordinary. We don't get by there hardly ever anymore, but we went on a 90 mile trip today to get Matzo ball soup for my wife's employers, who are under the weather. The team at the deli always goes above and beyond to facilitate the needs of the customer and the food is always top notch.“

“We didn’t know about this hidden gem. Great customer service. Really clean. A nice covered sitting area with picnic tables and drinking fountain. We ordered a caramel sundae with extra peanuts (real peanuts chopped up not those kind from other ice cream shops), a strawberry shake and a Blizzard type of ice cream with snickers. Everything was tasty and generous portions.“

“My favorite seafood joint in the tricounty area. The staff is always very friendly, down to earth and couterous. The food is always hot and fresh. The drinks are always mixed right. I've been to Shuckin Shack more times I can count on my hands and toes and I have yet to be disappointed. This restraunt restores my faith in family owned seafood restaurants.

“A perfect Friday evening! Wait was 45 minutes. No big deal. Grabbed some beers and found a spot at the outside bar. Do yourself a favor and get a Snafu Strawberry Squared Sour. My son LOVED the playground area. He’s 8 and there were several other kids of various ages all having a blast. We chatted with some friendly folks until our table was ready. Food was yummy. Watermelon salad, ceviche, pecan pork chop, shark filet with shrimp, and kids corn dogs. The ceviche and shrimp were our favorites. All in all we were there 2 hours and my son never once asked for an electronic. He was too busy playing. Highly recommend this neighborhood bar and restaurant for families.“

Kid-friendliness: Had My Grankids with me & our Waitress Assisted Them Well with Crayons? & Pictures to keep them Occupied before the Meals Arrived. I Really Appreciated That.“

“Very disappointing experience. We had eaten dine in many times. The food was always delicious.Friday night, an alarming experience occured. We ordered for PICK UP/Take OUT. After we had picked up our meal and gotten home (15 to 20 min drive away) we are called, and told we need to come back with the food they gave us. They had given us the wrong order. Friday night up Dorchester can be a challenge at best. It took 20 mins to get back and the food we had been given, another customer was wating for. They handed the bag they gave to us, to the customer and our order was still there. LUKE WARM...They did not give us a new batch. (Health Dept issues???) We get home, and open up the containers, and the portiom sizes are like for children. 1/4 of a cup of soup?! Come on! The other items are so cold at this point, too. So I called to complain. I was told they would give me 15% off my next dine in order. I asked for a refund. NO. That is terrible customer service. Terrible food handling. I will no longer feel safe eating here. And to give the bag of food from us that had been in OUR car directly to another person.....NO. Just no.“

“Very enjoyable dinner, the place has lots of decor to look at while you wait for your food, tvs, nice bar and the service was fantastic for us. We enjoyed our food, and will be back. Get the large queso as we were scraping the bottom of it fighting over the last of it. We will be back for sure“
