First time in this location though I have frequented the North Charleston one: 1. Location is bigger and can accommodate small and large groups, also has disability accessibility. 2. I've always loved the food. Hibachis are always about the showmanship and our chef/theater fire hosts definitely kept us entertained. With that said the amount of food you get just for hibachis is substantial. Great value for the price and amount of food served. 3. Service is great, food were amazing and fresh and have no complaints with the experience. I do not arm people to come to earlier or make a reservation if you are with a big group. This location gets busy and there was already a wait when I e came in about 10 minutes before opening.

Customer service is horrible, they need to learn how to greet customers.

This place has been one of the biggest let downs. We've been here twice. Each time it's super overpriced, the staff isn't attentive to their guests, and the food left much to be desired. The last time we were here was a Thursday evening, and we had to wait 45 minutes for a table. We got the table and then had to wait another hour for the cook to show up. Prior to the cook showing up, we alerted the staff of my fiances allergies based on what she ordered. The cook then comes out and goes to cook jers first, which I respect but then begins to cook seafood with her dinner, which was another allergy of hers and not listed on the menu. Furthermore it took the cook almost an hour and a half to cook everything. Those of us who got chicken had a partially cold meal as the rice and vegetables had been sitting around for a large duration of that time. There's much better ways they could have cooked everything up so everyone had hot meals. The server was horrible she came around once every 45 minutes when just about all our drinks were empty, not proactively keeping up with everything. She would ignore us if we tried to flag her around, and we could see her sitting around joking with other employees in the back. It's not a good look. This place was open from 5pm to 10pm and our meal took almost that entire time. For $100 for two people, we got cold food, poor service, and left with a bad taste in our mouth for a second time. I wouldn't suggest coming here under any circumstances.

Each serving of food by the chef was salty and some overcooked. Scallions were overcooked as well as shrimp. Went there last Monday with my wife and everything was terrific. Wife went there a second time the same week with her mom and sister and it was horrible. Neither of them liked it and wife became very sick that evening and threw up before bed.

Bob was our chef. No wait to get seated. Freezing in the restaurant the entire time as were everyone else at our table. Hostesses wore sweatshirts. Bob and server, Jack, were excellent. Efficient, polite. Scallops and filet delicious. Recommend adding eggs and or bacon to bland rice. Will go again.

Went here for a birthday dinner and it was a disaster. Had to wait an hour for a table even though the dinner party had reservations. Hostess was totally unprofessional and too busy on their phones. Only thing that saved the experience was the chef.

Love their Sushi! The gluten free menu has lots of options to choose from. They can make dairy free options for my son as well. It is nice to have somewhere to go out to eat that will accommodate our allergies.

Tried to place a to go order. The bartender, Cyrus, told me it would take 20minutes. More than an HOUR later, i get cold food. A great waste of $70 (just two combos). Would not recommend. The kitchen obviously has no idea what a ticket time is, and there is a serious lack of communication between kitchen a staff. If Charleston lost Yokoso, nobody would miss it.

Great good, great service! We love Yokoso. Sushi is always fantastic as well as the hibachi. Also, the blue Hawaiian Martini is a yummy drink to enjoy with your food ?Kid-friendliness: Great choices for the kids and they love watching the cooks put on a show
