“Food is good. I wouldn’t recommend ordering take out because they skimp you on sauce and food unfortunately. I always have a good experience with the server. He literally runs that whole place by himself. I’m seriously always impressed by him and hopefully he’s getting all his tips and not sharing it with the nuisance/ eye sore that sits behind the counter stuffing her face while scrolling on her phone constantly in front of customers. She’s so rude and has terrible customer service skills. I come here pretty often and she’s always behind the counter doing the same sh’t. When I have to go to the counter to pay, she never acknowledges or even gets her face out of the phone to speak to me for two seconds. I’m in the food business, so I am all about good customer service and handling the tasks professionally. I’m a good tipper and I expect it to be worth it in all aspects. Again, Food is great. Server is amazing,. just not a good experience with the two behind the counter 🤷🏻♀️“

“It was too hot.place empty because no air conditioning. I was going to sit in and relax. The workers looked soaked with sweat and exausted. That is a shame.one hell of a team to work 8n that and still smile and give excellent service.yall should be ashamed .I found out when 8 asked been like that over a week.i would have quit.“

“I got the Cajun chicken tenders and fries absolutely delicious! We were warmly greeted as we walked in and the young woman working the counter was quick to answer our questions and patient while we decide, I didn’t feel rushed at all. The place is small but doesn’t feel cramped they definitely maximized the space available. The food was amazing and filling. Will definitely be back!“

Marsh House is in the Thompson Hotel in The Gulch neighborhood in Nashville, and their brunch was incredible. Eli was our bartender, and he made our experience even better than the delicious food that was served. Perfect, fun service. Thanks, Eli! Fun environment with some hotel guests, party folks, and couples at the bar. The dining room looked very nice, although we sat in the bar area. The wife had the Medieval Barber for a drink and loved it. We got the salmon tartar as an appetizer, and it was delicious, along with a fantastic presentation. Wife got the shrimp and grits, and I got one of the better omelettes that I have ever had (I added ham to the cheese-y-ness magic). Hope you go there, and hope Eli is your tender. The Gulch is also a cool wander as you digest the awesome meal you just had. Dining room looked classy too. Definitely recommend, and see you there...“

“I can’t say enough about our dining experience! This restaurant is on my TOP list here in Nashville and I will now frequent. Everything from start to finish was superb! Our waiter Sid was nothing g more than AMAZING and the manager was very nice and came by to say hello! The FOOOOOD was SO good it’s definitely worth it!!“

“Great tacos! I tried their carnitas, birria, and fried shrimp tacos and I'd be stoked to be eating any of them again right now. Everything was juicy and tender. Good tortillas too. The jamaica was on point. Quick, friendly service. I'll definitely be returning.

“Traveled to Nashville from Missouri. Stayed at the Courtyard Downtown Nashville. We could not decided where to eat due to many choices. We decided to stay in the hotel and go to the first floor and just eat here at the hotel. We were treated as if we were royalty. The food is world class food. Nothing can compare. The atmosphere was that of a dream. Great music. They play the best music live making it an experience not to forget. If you need to feel like a famous person from Nashville, you have to go to Gannon’s in Nashville. Cole and Matt were very professional and we can not wait to go back!“

“We celebrated our son's Vandy graduation here. It was perfect. We walked right in with no wait for our reservation. The waitress was top notch and never rushed us. After we ordered We walked around and took in the wonderful views, to include the bar area which had fabulous views of Nashville. The fry tray, instead of bread was a great change up. One of our party had a dairy allergy and received a special fry tray. Our steaks were all done wonderfully. We also ordered the Brussel sprouts- best side ever, and the fried rice and broccoli were also good. We skipped dessert, but received some carmel chocolate popcorn which was also fabulous. I don't leave many reviews, but I had to write about this wonderful experience.“

“About as authentic as you can get! They are a cafeteria-style place with southern food. I am a Californian who barely eats meat but they were very kind and gave me a little sampler so I could try stuff. I got the roasted chicken- yum! Get their spicy BBQ sauce that they hip up themselves! I was full for about two days but it was super good“

“I knew I was in the mood for something a little more rich and filling. I scoped the floor and Dock local had a several people in front, discussing what they just ate. The people in the restaurant were smiling while patrons were talking about their food. That sold me and I dont regret it. I had the connecticut and some clam chowder. Manager was super friendly. Everything behind the counter looked clean. My food was out what felt like super quick.
The roll was toasty and butter the lobster was well seasoned, comes with the extra butter.
Was an amazing bowl of clam chowder. Its a fav of mine. Recommend highly

“Ordered. A fish and shrimp combo which is supposed to come with two pieces of fish and six pieces of shrimp. I got one piece of fish and five pieces of shrimp. For my side, I chose corn on the cob that I think had been sitting around for a week. The hush puppies tasted like they were straight up cornmeal that was fried. Not sure what happened with this location. It used to be the testing ground for corporate to try new menu items. Now the food quality has deteriorated so much that I probably will not return.“

“I just left from captain d's on Jefferson street.. Got to the window for my order and the lady did not give add my sweet tea. Instead of giving me a sweet tea she told me i needed drive back around and order another sweet tea in the back of the line for a mistake that she made. What kind of mess is that??? she was a short skinny black lady with glasses and a wig. I want my tea.“

“Ruth’s Chris never disappoints! From start to finish, our dining experience was elegant, satisfying, and well worth the splurge. If you're a fan of classic steakhouses with impeccable service and consistently great food, this is the place.
We started off with a few appetizers, and they were fantastic. The stuffed mushrooms were rich and savory, and the shrimp cocktail was fresh with a great kick from the horseradish. Each dish came out hot and perfectly prepared, setting the tone for what was to come.
The steak, of course, was the star of the night. I ordered the filet, and it came out sizzling on their signature 500° plate—an experience in itself. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare, with a buttery richness that melted in my mouth. Every bite was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. You really can’t go wrong with any cut on the menu.
We also ordered a bottle of red wine from their curated list, which had some excellent options. Our server was incredibly helpful in suggesting a pairing that worked well with both our steaks and our side dishes.“
