“Amazing Cajun place. Out of the way, must stop at. You order at the counter and food is brought to you.Tried a boudan bacon burger with an egg on it...out of this world. Crawfish tacos with a kick, that I definitely want to eat again, and their fries are phenomenal also.Atmosphere is super inviting and the staff super friendly. We lost track of time with friends, closed the place down talking with friends and we didn't even realize it. Staff said nothing, let us keep on in our conversation.”

“Our little community needed a place like this. My friends and family have been here several times. Today’s review comes after stopping in for their Sunday brunch. Our table sampled pretty much everything on the menu except for the bacon. The sausage gravy-to-biscuit ratio was perfect. The gravy wasn’t too peppery. Hashbrowns were good and had good flavor. Over easy eggs and scrambled eggs were cooked to order. Cinnamon rolls were excellent. We had mimosas and a bloody mary and no complaints there either. The staff is always friendly. Such a great atmosphere. To the owners…So glad you’re here! Great job! Happy New Year!”

“Wow, I was really surprised how great the food was considering it is Mexican in a strip mall. The carnitas were delicious and the side items were fresh and tasty. The avacado salad, tomatoes, everything was like I would have at home. All 6 of us were really impressed. I'll be back !”

I'm always baking up concoctions at home and Healthy Body Bakery makes my baked goods look/taste like dirt (let's be real--mine aren't that good.. but they don't even compare!). The owner(?) was so sweet & informative, and their prices were VERY reasonable! I can't wait to stop in again when I'm back in town!”

A true hidden gem, this place had barely anyone inside but anyone who entered couldn’t help but smile and have fun as they were being treated by servers with infectious smiles and positive attitudes. Now onto our next subject. The food… My goodness did the food come out quick and they did not sacrifice quality food for good service either. The Crab Rangoon might have been the best appetizer I have ever eaten. It came out in a mere two minutes after ordering and then the main dish I had was Teriyaki Chicken and fried rice. The fried rice was soft, sweet and hot. Everyone needs to visit Poy Thai, I left with a new type of joy I have never felt before. When Jesus comes back He needs to visit Poy Thai.”

“Home cooked food served cafeteria style by the family that have owned this since I was a wee kid in the 70's!Food is always delicious on the steamtable, they will fry you up some fish or porkchops, or even grill you a juicy burger with all the fixins.They usually have chopped steak and BBQ as well.Other items vary by day, such as fried chicken or country style steak and gravy. Several vegetables to choose from; even beans and country cornbread! I love their skillet fried potatoes with onions! They have tossed salads and slaw as well. Desserts make you think of your grannie's...they are sooo good!Open during the day to early evening during the week for meals, Friday nights they have a band playing country music and people dancing. Some of their musicians have played at the opry for years.Several weekends they have activities outside during the day, like classic car shows, tractor shows or flea markets...and they are open for meals during that time as well!A family oriented location! It can be rented for weddings and private parties too!Many times over the years, we have just invited folks to join us for birthday dinner and cake and have taken a large birthday cake and just shared it with everyone there! The band will sing you Happy Birthday and several of the folks will come by to wish you a Happy Birthday too!It's a nice place to sit and enjoy people watching as well, as families love to bring their kids and the familiy is out there dancing together. Good clean family fun for all ages!We have taken cards and even board games to play together, and just hung out after eating.They have a TV there for those who like to catch the news, the races or their favorite sports team playing.”

Parking: Parking on site, pretty big lot, never had an issue finding parking here.

Kid-friendliness: My kids love this place. They offer a full kids menu with chicken fingers and fries as well in case yours are picky like mine and will only eat the fried stuff!”

“I walked in on a rainy Saturday morning for the first time not really expecting much since I am a coffee shop snob, but I was greeted, and the ladies working were so sweet and hardworking, yet not rushed.The breakfast sandwich I had was delicious and so was the latte. You know how at some cafes, when you order a sandwich and it comes out not looking like the photo? It was NOT like that at Lasaters. I think it came out better than the photo.The atmosphere was cozy and perfect for reading or quiet work, and they even have board games to play if you come with a group.I don't live in this part of town, but I'll definitely be back!”
