“It has been a while since we tried Jake's Place.. I was pleased at the offerings on the menu; fish had hushpuppies with it, slaw available, and of course, french fries were on the menu. I can't remember if there were white beans or not, and I like white beans or baked beans with my fish. The fish was really good with no "muddy" flavor, and the portion was plentiful. Their burger was good. It did seem a little higher priced than other similar food options. What will possibly prevent me from returning is the vibe that I got from the tin pan and basket on which the food was served. Also, the "hushpuppies" didn't seem to have any onions in them, and they were a "sweet" cornbread, which I have never had in hushpuppies before. If these two things were changed as well as the huge potholes in the back parking lot, I would be excited about Jakes' Place as another meat and 3 option.“

“The Mixed Berry Stuffed French Toast was perfection. Just the right amount of sweetness. Break fast potatoes were piping hot! Had to grab a yummy Homemade Rice Krispie Treat on the way out. What a great find in Hendersonville. Can't wait to come back to try their lunch options.“

“Another wonderful experience. There is always a wait because they're so consistently good. They've got their wait list down to a science, my husband and I live in Madison so it takes about 30 mins to get there. I put myself on their waitlist online to ensure we didn't have to wait long when we got there. We were in and out within an hour and the food, service and drinks were phenomenal. We'll be back!“

“Great spot for lunch with your spouse or a business colleague. The food is really good too. I have only gone once at night time and decided I would never go back. It's just way too loud. But if you like a loud and rowdy sports bar for dinner, then it's perfect for you.“

“Stopped by to try their new breakfast this week. There were so many tasty options; it was hard to decide. I had the Sutton Scramble, and it was delicious! The cinnamon roll casserole is a MUST try as well! Will definitely be returning. Also, the staff is so friendly and attuned to your needs. Our Place Cafe is the perfect local spot. Highly recommend!“

“Really delicious gluten free pizza options, large salad portions, nice selection of beers on tap but only one cider option (angry orchard, not on draft). The servers were friendly enough but they seemed either slightly inexperienced or understaffed, they would walk by our table quickly and smile but would not stop and check in with us to ask if we needed anything. Since it was a bit difficult to get the servers attention we ended up walking to the counter several times for refills and additional orders etc.We couldn’t decide between the buffalo chicken and the sweet chili (with GF/cauliflower crust) - so we ordered both! The buffalo chicken was definitely the winner!We also had the cream ale and the cider. The bill was around $76.We returned for a takeout order and had one full Caesar salad and one GF buffalo chicken pizza which came out to be $32 somehow? We weren’t given an itemized receipt so I’m not sure how the math worked there. We probably won’t eat here often given the expense for the portions, but the quality of the pizza was just as delicious as the first time so kudos to the kitchen.Dietary restrictions: Cauliflower crusts available for those with gluten allergies and vegetarian pizza combos!Parking: Huge parking lot shared by the shopping center.Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids and families present, arcade games to keep the older children occupied and plenty of high chairs available.“

“Went to Hendersonville Tn Captain D’s tonight. There were three people working when there should have been four. The girls were very busy. We were eating in. They explained that we might have to wait a little longer since they were understaffed. We said that was fine. They couldn’t have been nicer. Our food came out perfect and was very good. Unfortunately, we only got Tanya and Melissa’s names and not the person who was in the kitchen. They did a great job in spite of being super busy and understaffed. They’re the best.“

“Very nice atmosphere and great food“

“So very dysfunctional drive through if they get lined up. They will put a cone out and redirect traffic. If you have the cone behind you, you might as well leave they are out in the parking lot Takin orders from the redirected traffic, and you'll find cars shooting down beside you. When you've already been settin there for 20 minutes. In line, they already have tickets on their mirror and you're here for yo another 45 minutes. Trying to figure out when your order's gonna be even taken“

“Food and service has improved tremendously since the new general manager, Stacy took over. Was there on a Friday night and you can see that they have management presence walking throughout the dining room talking to tables, great job! Food was fresh and good.
