“We went to CATCH Land & Sea for the first time last night and had a wonderful experience. Our server Alexa was so sweet, knowledgeable, and attentive while still allowing us to take our time through drinks and appetizers. We had the calamari for an appetizer and for entrees we had the fresh catch red snapper, blackened, with cheese grits and asparagus and the flatiron steak topped with chimichurri with sides of sliced loaded potatoes and crispy brussels. The food was all stellar, but the snapper was exceptional. The blackened seasoning was not at all overpowering and perfectly complimented the fish. The cook and flavor were just perfect. For drinks, I had the harvest cocktail and my husband had a Kentucky mule. With dinner we each had a glass of wine, white and red respectively. Drinks were delicious as well. We will be back for another special occasion.“

And it doesn’t disappoint!*no grief about this description, please. I’m fluent in Spanish and have spent more time abroad than you spent in college. You follow the natives for the best food.“

“Went to Hendersonville Tn Captain D’s tonight. There were three people working when there should have been four. The girls were very busy. We were eating in. They explained that we might have to wait a little longer since they were understaffed. We said that was fine. They couldn’t have been nicer. Our food came out perfect and was very good. Unfortunately, we only got Tanya and Melissa’s names and not the person who was in the kitchen. They did a great job in spite of being super busy and understaffed. They’re the best.“

“Mixed review. Crawfish is the best you'll get around these parts. Shrimp is good but a lot spicier than expected for the area and day in the water way too long (shells were softened and stuck to the meat, nearly impossible to get off). Gumbo decent. Jambalaya and Red beans excellent. Etoufee was bad, not etoufee at all (please don't judge etoufee off of this). French bread should be standard with gumbo but wasn't. They were out of boudin balls and said they usually never have them. Beignets we're good, but doughier than real beignets (and nowhere near enough powder sugar, was barely any). And caramel was a very weird and un-NOLA thing to paid with them Overall somewhere better pretty good and very good.“
