“Fabulous little southern style restaurant near the UT campus. Fried white fish filets were delivered to the table pronto and everything was piping hot. The Cole slaw was amayonaising! Just like I like it! Our server was the bomb! Perfect personality and charm and our Valentines date was a night to remember because of Matty. When you go to Emma's Southern Kitchen be sure to ask for the server who looks like Buddy Holly!“

“Placed an order online and went to pick it up in the “curd-side” pickup (the name is adorable). Service was fast and my food was accurate and very fresh. The cheese curds are so good and my burger was perfect.Parking: I got curbside and there were a couple of spaces for that. But if I were to dine in, the parking lot seemed very full.“

“This place came for an employee event at Mercedes of Knoxville on Monday. I will be honest, we have had some ~not so good~ food from food trucks before… well that was NOT the case with Hamburger Hill. Not only was it my favorite employee appreciation food EVER, But that might have been the best smash burger I have ever consumed. The Hill Sauce is incredible!! I can’t wait to eat at this place once a week for the burger craving. If I could give 10 stars, I would!!!!“

“Looking for some good tasting cold beer, and some really good burgers, well this is the place. Stopped in after our meeting and glad we did. The burgers were the bomb, cooked just the way you asked for it, fresh and juicy. And the beer, it's cold and refreshing, yeah even in the late winter. March is our burger month, so when we go out, we try to find the best burger around. This place makes our top 3 of 9 places between Johnson City and Knoxville. We'll keep posting if we find some more surprises. Don't worry guys we shall return.“

“Staff was friendly and attentive but not over-bearing. We were seated quickly. Food was typical Americanized Mexican, though they had a couple of traditional dishes on the menu too. Nothing I got to eat was special. However, their peach margarita was delish!“

Soda water.But all in all good flavors. “I have been getting the Reuben with Swiss sandwich at Jacob's for many years and have always said it was the best Reuben sandwich in Knoxville. However today was not the case. My sandwich although good did not have the Swiss cheese that makes it so gooey and excellent.(I did ask for it with the Swiss cheese!) I also ordered a small order of onion rings and a side salad. The salad in the past always has crackers included, but were not included today for some reason. Also, prices have gone up! Jacob's has always been a great place to eat and the staff very friendly. Maybe just an off day?? Hate to see prices go up and quality go down!“

My recommendation would be lower your phone prices so your customers can buy more alcohol. It would be great if you had hotdogs for game day. Lower your food prices for game day and we will be back“

“This is the BEST McDonald's in alllllllllll of Knoxville and I have been to just about all of them. The food is always fresh and hot and the order correct. I am a little extra so I always do things like add tomato to my sausage biscuits or extra tartar to my filet o fish, always something, they never miss a beat and the extra is there. “This is a local business that is worth supporting. I think they had an ownership & name change recently. The food is noticeably better since the change, quick, despite it being made to order, which is hard to do. I don’t think I’ve had better seasoned fries in a long time. The workers have a great attitude for fast food and are always cheerful and easygoing when I visit. The menu could be a little more clear, but the person taking the order has always been easy to communicate with, so it has never presented me a problem. Prices are reasonable for 2024. It’s not cheap, but neither is the quality.“

“Food is good. I eat here often since I work in the building. The new paper containers are awful though. They break down when moist food is placed in them so you end up eating bits of paper container along with your food. I stopped ordering omelettes because of this issue. The oil/butter on the eggs turns the container to mush. I understand wanting to be earth friendly but, maybe there is another alternative.“

We were both pleasantly surprised.We started with the Spin-Art dip, which also came with Salsa and sour creme and it was quite good. I also ordered a side salad and it was very fresh and crisp and quite large for a side salad.C.J. was the perfect server. He was friendly, very knowledgeable about the menu, very prompt, kept our drinks filled (even offering to go cups when we finished), most importantly, he wasn't overbearing and pandering for a bigger tip (he got one for exactly that?)The thing that was VERY disconcerting was the homeless people in the restrooms and on the property. There were homeless people's belongings stashed in the bushes on the property, panhandlers in the parking lot and homeless people in the restrooms changing clothes and brushing their teeth in the sink. If management can't control this, then we won't be back.In conclusion, great food, incredible service (Be sure to ask for C.J. if you eat here.?) but the homeless infestation is a problem. Please fix this and we'll be back.“
