“The Tavern offers tapas as well as salads,burgers and sandwiches .We tried the White/Navy Bean and Truffle Soup of the Day and it was quite good. It was served with a savory crostini which nicely complemented it.My Partner had the Chicken Salad sandwich and Honey-Roasted Vegetables. I tried the Whiskey Bacon Burger with Fries. They use Double Gloucester Cheddar in several of their dishes.For the non-cheese aficionados, Double Gloucester Cheddar is made from full-fat cream/milk (Single Gloucester is made with skim milk) and a Double Gloucester wheel is twice the height of a Single Gloucester wheel. It is also rumored to be made from two distinct milkings.The Whiskey Bacon Burger was prepared with a Bacon Jam, which nicely incorporated the whiskey flavor in the background; the bacon was incorporated into the burger which always gives a delightful flavor throughout the burger.The Chicken Salad was likewise unique in its ingredients and was nicely balanced. The Honey-Roasted Vegetables however, were exquisite. Carrots, Broccolini, Green Beans, with White and Red New Potatoes sautéed and infused with honey and crumbled bacon. These are a favorite of both clients and staff.Overall, a most excellent Lunch. The tapas on the Lunch and Dinner Menu, are calling out to be chosen!“

“We needed a burger and a quick old fashioned! This place was packed and they still turned out our food and drinks fast! The well whiskey was good too. I should have gotten the whiskey flight! Buffalo trace , welled reserve, Blanton’s, and to finish it off with some Taylor! Man, that sounded like a great choice! This is place is on my Must revisit!“

“Cava has a great variety of items to select from. The restaurant is clean and the staff is very friendly. You can build your own bowl with fresh ingredients. However if you know what authentic falafel tastes like skip their falafel.“

“Food was good, service was ok. Loved the sourcing of local meat and vegetables, and the place was absolutely a local favorite. I will go back again when in the area and get a better feel for the place but would also recommend it for anyone who hasn't tried them and want a home cooked feel to their meal.“

“Came in for dinner last night, service was good and food was delicious. Thought it was a bit odd when we walked in and there was a younger hostess eating breadsticks behind the small counter and looking up at us. I saw her seating people after I went to the restroom. “We were pleased to find that the food, drinks, and service of Don Gallo's was as it used to be when it first opened in Hardin Valley. We'd had some rather disappointing drinks and meals on several occasions from 2019 to 2022, so we stopped eating there. Gave it another try for dinner and we were very pleased with everything. “Have tried their pizza a few times, ok nothing great. My last order the veggies were just added on after the pizza was baked. They denied doing it, but it’s very easy to tell if a veggie has been in an oven! Although is a convenient location for me, I won’t be back, too many better options.“

“Everything is so PERFECT at this location. I have never been disappointed, any modifications you have they’ll make sure to satisfy you! Workers are so amazing! So friendly and understanding and patient! Zachary at the register was so sweet and kind! Even after I sat down to eat, he made sure to come by and check on me! The manager is always around, and always has a smile on making sure everyone leaves with a great experience. Best fast food experience I have ever received!“

“Went there today and got a pizza. Amazing! The pizza was wonderful and the staff was so helpful and kind. We took out pizza outside on the square to eat with friends and they asked if we needed waters or anything else. Couldn’t ask for better people!“

“If you are bar hopping in old city & gay st and you find yourself hungry at midnight or 1am on the weekend, then this is the place to go. The food here is superb. We usually always make this our last stop of the night. It is an inside smoking bar, so just know that before heading in. I don't smoke, but it doesn't bother me either. They do clean the carpet weekly, or so I heard.“

I had only one bowl of soup and usually adjustments are made since the printed cost is for unlimited refills which due to gastrointestinal surgery I can't eat more than one. So for one delicious watermelon sangria, one bread stick and one bowl of soup, including tip I paid $22. Sadly I don't think I will be back.“

“Blaze is always a good time with good food. Fresh pizza dough, toppings, and I get it exactly the way I want. The staff is usually very friendly and on top of making pizza. This visit I had a coupon for a free dessert, and I got a s'mores sandwich. They heated it up for me so the marshmallow was toasted and the chocolate was melted. The cookie part was much too thick compared to the innards, so it ate very dry. I'm glad I got it free, because now I know I wouldn't want to spend $2.99 on one.“

“well, after reading the reviews, there was a very harsh pizza critic, (older post) and 2 extremely positive reviews (new posts) and as a pizza connoisseur myself, I knew I was leaning towards the majority although I think very differently than most and usually root for the underdog, but in this case, the underdog would be the pizza joint... especially found it humorous he had pushed buttons on the lines of "if it saves one person from trying the pizza then it's (his opinion, time) is worth it...well, for me this had the opposite effect, I accept the challenge of not being saved, thanks but from what sounds to me amateur taste, I'm not scared and again thanks for sharing, maybe focus on saving people like friends and fam, who may or may not know or trust you more than a stranger danger proponent...i cant wait to give it a try myself and Dare to think for myself, knowing we all enjoy different things“

“We made our first visit to the Karns location and found the pizza to be super good. We even were able to get a thumb’s up from our daughter. We went with the NY style pepperoni and the Hoss Special. Fresh, great crust, delivered hot and delicious. Go and give it a try.“

Lobby right outside is a big and convenient place to wait or relax in for a bit. Lots of couches, some tables, and plenty of outlets“

“My family goes to the drive thru pretty often to pick up supper and occasionally breakfast. Food is consistently very good for fast food.Parking: Parking is adequate, but the parking near the restaurant isn't huge. Much of their business is drive thru. The drive thru has 2 lanes.“

“We love Marcos and the one in Hardin Valley is our favorite! They have an employee there named Maverick and he does it all! He is an amazing asset to their team, He always has a joke or a smile for us when we come to get our pizza!Our pizzas are always fresh, hot and intact, which is a huge plus for us!“

“My grandson and family really enjoyed their pizza. We always do one large pepperoni, one large cheese and we always get the cinnamon bread. There is never a long wait because we order ahead and pick up.Parking: I have never had a time that I did not have parking space, we always go to the Marco on Maynardville pike“

“Excellent young woman did a great job cleaning restrooms. Nice to find that when I'd been driving for 8 hours. They hire young kids who actually work hard. What a nice rarity. But the chocolate chunk cookie is always bad, old, inedible. Who cares though because you go there for everything else.“
