“My girlfriend had heard about this place so we decided to drive up to Murfreesboro and give it a try. I was impressed just how reasonable the prices were. The atmosphere was entertaining and the music wasn't too loud. This was a lunchtime on Sunday though. They had tons of different beers but I didn't try any. It was a good burger so I'd definitely come back again sometime.“

“Came in on a rainy Friday night as the menu I found online looked amazing with such variety of breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals with each being unique and not a bland dining experience. My burger with pulled pork was incredible and the sweet tea reminded me of growing up in the south as I miss it a lot living further north now. The person who took our order was very polite, prompt, and patient as I had a bunch of questions to ask. If I'm back in the area, I can guarantee I'll be back.“

Definitely recommend the Korean bbq potato skins as an appetizer, hubs had the ribeye and I had the mahi, both were ?. For dessert we tried the trés leches and butterscotch crème brûlée, once again definitely recommend trying either or both! Our server Hank was amazing, had great recommendations and thoroughly enjoyed talking with him. ?⭐️?⭐️?“

“Best coffee I've found in Murfreesboro so far. I'm not local but am in town frequently and have been searching for great coffee in town. There's some nice spots but the flavor and quality here have been unmatched so far. We were going to skip pastries but once you walk in and see the gorgeous displayed goods you can't pass them up. Tried a basic caramel latte, honey cappuccino, brownie, and buttered croissant. All were great! Fast and friendly service to boot.“

“I have to say the food at LongHorn is top notch and yet costs way less than the fancier steakhouses. I had the Filet Mignon. It was so tender and flavorful. This is my favorite cut of beef and I’ve had it at numerous high end restaurants all over the southeast. This by far is the best I’ve ever had! I highly recommend the new Parmesan Spinach dip for a different spin on chips and dip. The Chocolate Stampede (dessert for 2+) was over the top with multiple types of chocolate to tantalize your cravings.Kid-friendliness: Families are welcome and small children are accommodated.“

“Cozy, hole in the wall, soul food. Dated interior, but clean and functional. I had green beans, sweet potatoes, cheezy hashbrowns, and meat loaf. Beans are perfectly seasoned, but slightly over cooked. Sweet potatoes have tiny marshmallows and are soft and sweet. The cheesy potatoes are not overly salty, with crunchy edges, and the cheddar cheese is the real thing. The meatloaf portion is generous, smooth and meaty (no gristle!). Its covered with a tangy tomato sauce that perks up the flavor. What ever they spice it with is not overwhelming, but adds a warm after taste in the mouth. I love it! The restaurant has the standard sodas. All of the desserts are homemade, too! I prefer owner operated restaurants over chains, and Jeff's hits a home run on this meal! OH! and the meal cost me $20, including tip. Great value!“

I thought something was up when just getting a drink order in took way longer than it should have.I ordered a 6 piece chicken basket with tots, an extra side of tots, and an order of the fried avocado bites. My cousin ordered a chicken sandwich, no cheese, and fries. One kid ordered mac and cheese with fries, and the other a chicken strip kids' meal.It went downhill from here. Not only did the server disappeared for I don't know how long, but the rare occasion she would blow by she would tell us she was checking on our food. Sadly, I am pretty sure that was not happening.While we waited, quite patiently, several tables that were seated after us not only got their food but paid their bills, left, and the tables were filled with new patrons. Who also got their food before us.Now, according to our server, who once I asked to speak to a manager, stated the order got lost. She said she would have a manager come to the table, and the manager was a no-show either. Eventually, the server brought the manager over. She was quite apologetic, promised to comp our meals, and stated that our food had been given to the wrong people. So, yea, there's that.Eventually, they brought our food. There was no extra order of tots, cheese on the chicken sandwich, and we had to ask for drink refills.Listen, I get that the place was a little busy, and I certainly understand things going awry at times. To say that no one appeared to know what was going on at any particular point in time would be rather generous. Different stories, servers that clearly need training, or a less busy shift, and the ising on the cake? The one girl, I have no idea what her function is, who kept yelling into her headset, grumpily deriding coworkers, and stuck with a permanent dour expression.I will not lie to you. The chicken strips and the tater tots were pretty damned good. Even the fried avocado bites were pretty decent. I am hard-pressed to say it was even close enough to overcome what can only be described as one of the most miserable dining experiences I have had in a very long time.Will I go back? Despite this location being literally 5 minutes from my house, probably not. I may go to one of your other locations to see if I have a better experience. I just don't know for sure.UPDATE: Within a few hours, at most, of posting this review, which also posted to the location via an online comment card, their District Manager, contacted me via email. I received a very nice apology, was told my comments would be used for training, and that I would be sent some gift certificates as a way to entice me to give it another try. I turned down the gist certificates, as I do not give comments or reviews with the thought of getting anything for it. I also stated that, due to the quick response and nice email, I would give them another try. I will update this review at that time.Update #2: I should have updated this a while back, but I rarely look back at my old reviews. My bad on this one. Toot's has become a regular place to eat for me. Since the initial experience, all of my servers have been fantastic, no matter if I am at a table, sitting in the bar area, or sitting at the bar. The food is still wonderful, and as of late, I have getting the sweet potato fries/wedges (which are dang good). ?Anyway, I have, rightfully, updated my ratings from 1 to 4 stars. Thanks Toot's staff for changing my mind.“

“First things first, this waffle house is super clean. You won't find a sticky table or nasty restroom here. The food was awesome and cooked up for us real fast. The waiter was super kind and suggested the strawberry waffle, which was absolutely delicious. Hasbrowns were perfectly crispy, too. Totally recommend going to this place at 1am like we did.“

“Best dive bar I've ever hung at. They allow smoking, but have big garage doors they open so that you don't get "hot boxed". Food's surprisingly good & the drinks aren't over priced. Super loud when a band is playing, but that's a reason I go, so no complaints. Staff is pretty hit or miss, but it's been good the last couple of times I've been there. (I go about once per year now that I don't live in Murfreesboro)“

“What a delicious meal! I used the drive-thru and ordered the double mushroom-Swiss burger. So good! I love the fresh, hand-smashed beef patties -- like homemade. And every worker is courteous and friendly. When you have a time crunch but you want a delicious meal, Culver's is a great choice.“

FYI, did you know to serve raw oysters in TN, you have to get a special certification. That's why many places sell them cooked in one form or another.“

“This Cheddar's was THE best. We've been to different locations in Florida, Indiana, and now Tennessee. We were lucky enough to have Jordan as our server. He was amazing. Promote that guy to Senior Staff Trainer. What an awesome experience! I think we'll actually stop here again on our next road trip in hopes of checking in with Jordan.“

“I love Slim Chickens food....but after tonight, I'm a fan of their service as well! We placed a delivery order through the app. Our food showed up but the driver didn't even ring the bell. They dropped our food off on the sidewalk. We figured out it was there because our dog barked when they pulled out of the driveway. Our food was right....hot and fresh but the 3 dessert jars were missing...which shouldn't be an issue except they are fairly pricey (but totally worth it). I called the delivery persons phone and he said "no english" and hung up on me. I sent a text to him hoping that he was using Google translate and he came back to our house. My husband went to meet him in the drive and all he said was "that's all they gave me. call store". We called the store and the manager got on the phone. I explained the situation to him and he remembered putting the 3 jars with our order so he knew the driver had kept the desserts. He gave me a choice of a refund or he would send our desserts to us....no questions asked. Our desserts showed up 15 minutes later by a great driver (Emma) and all ended well. Great service and food by the Thompson Lane location!!!!!“
