I am picky on my pizza as I have a mom from New Jersey. Frankie’s is in my top 3 in the city for sure. You will NEVER receive poor service here. Everyone is always so kind and goes above and beyond in making conversation when I come pick up. Go support them!
I was excited to finally try this restaurant, but was sadly disappointed in our experience. We didn’t order drinks, just food. We started with bread that our server told us she’d get for us — we were never asked if we wanted it — later to find out this was an additional charge.My husband’s cavatelli pasta was really good, while my lamb ragu paparedelle was severely underseasoned. My husband and I are from out of town, NC. We were looking for a nice restaurant away from all the downtown bars. I did a lot of searching and googling restaurants around downtown and I found Frankies! I was so happy I did bc my husband and I had a great night!
