“Stopped here today for the first time. Tried the pork sandwich and the spring rolls. Excellent and the baguette bread used was first rate. Need to stop in for the bowls next; they looked outstanding as well.“

“I have decided their banh mi is the best one in town. The bread is soft, crispy outer layer. The meat is thinly sliced so it's easy to chew, marinated really well too so the flavor is bangin'. I enjoy that I can taste the lemongrass notes, I don't always find that with some banh mi's in town! Spring rolls with shrimp are solid as well.I have eaten in and enjoyed their pho too.“

“I always go here for their banh mi and their banh tet thit and banh chung. The banh mi is great! I think it's a perfect size for the price. They're not as big as some other banh mis you might find around (those are more expensive), but I think they're perfect as they are; I like to finish my banh mis in one sitting anyway. They sell them Buy 5 get 1 free at $5 each (2023 prices, may rise with inflation), so for $25+tax you basically get lunch for the entire week. There are a ton of options too. It's my go to when I know I have a busy week coming up and limited time to make food! They also sell a lot of things you can't find anywhere else. Banh tet thit and banh chung being some of those. It's absolutely delicious and everything I was looking for. I'm super glad this place exists in Nashville, otherwise I'd be forced to try to learn how to make these tough dishes all by myself. They keep the place very neat and clean, but the ambiance doesn't really lend itself super well as a dine-in place. I love it as a place to quickly pick up some pre-prepped banh tet thit and banh chung from their fridge, while waiting a few minutes for them to prep your banh mi (they're fast!). I bring those home, store my haul of banh mi in the fridge and when I'm ready, heat it up in the oven until the bread is a little crispy, then stuff in the veggies they sometimes package on the side for you when they know you're not eating all of them right away. I also store the banh tet thit and banh chung in my fridge, then cut it up and heat it in the microwave when I am ready to eat those. Usually all gone within the week!Going here is my dose of happiness, I love this little place!“

“On my recent visit to Vinh Long on a busy Sunday afternoon (3/10/24), As one of the long-standing Vietnamese restaurants still graced by its original owners, it truly stands as a pillar in the local culinary landscape. Despite it being a packed house at 1 pm, the staff were able to seat us after a brief 5-minute wait. The service was prompt and attentive right from the start, with menus and a courteous inquiry for our drink orders arriving in no time. The menu featured a diverse assortment of authentic Vietnamese fare, along with a selection of Japanese dishes and a delightful variety of Vietnamese desserts--all offered at very reasonable prices. My order included the Pho Special, Com Suon Bi Cha Trung, and Goi Cuon, each of which was a delightful surprise in terms of flavor and quality. The Goi Cuon (Spring Rolls) were notably fresh, brimming with vermicelli and mixed vegetables, and perfectly paired with a savory house hoisin sauce. The Com Suon Bi Cha Trung (White Rice with Shredded Pork, Egg Quiche, Pork Chop, and Fried Egg) was a symphony of textures and tastes--tender pork chop, perfectly cooked shredded pork, a tasty egg quiche, and a fried egg done just to my liking. The Pho Special was a comforting bowl with a richly flavored broth and an ample serving of meats, though the accompanying vegetables and herbs were somewhat scant. However, the staff was more than willing to provide extra upon request. Vinh Long, while compact, operates with a team that moves swiftly to ensure a pleasant dining experience for all. Ample parking is available in the lot, which is always a plus. It's worth noting that this cash-only establishment. Initially, there was a fleeting, odd scent upon entry, reminiscent of an older building, but it quickly dissipated, allowing the aromas of delicious food to take over. In summary, my experience at Vinh Long was filled with the warmth of nostalgia and reinforced by delicious food, friendly service, and swift delivery. It's clear that the restaurant continues to uphold its reputation, making it a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Vietnamese cuisine.“

“This restaurant is a hidden gem outside of Nashville. My husband and I are avid pho lovers and have had many bowls of pho during our time in Nashville (pho was our first date and our wedding meal) and we LOVE PhoT&N. When I had this pho for the first time I loaded up my bowl with hoisin sauce and siracha. After tasting my husband’s untouched soup I realized I “ruined” my pho- that is how good it is. The subtle and layered flavor of the pho here is beyond words and needs no extra flavor. It is the only bowl I will not add a dab of hoisin to. The people here are friendly and always accommodate larger parties. Pho T&N may be one of my top 10 favorite restaurants in Nashville and is definitely the best Vietnamese restaurant in Nashville.“

“I didn't know I loved Vietnamese food! This restaurant is one of the best hidden gems in all of Nashville. I didn't know what to expect when I visited for the first time, honestly, it's Vietnamese food, served in a very nondescript restaurant in a strip mall that I've passed hundreds of times and never noticed. But, I promise you, I will be back again (hopefully soon and often)! I visited at lunch time and expected the restaurant to be empty. Nope, most of the tables were already taken, and many of the diners looked like regulars. Our server was super nice and very knowledgeable about the menu. We also met the owner who was so nice. I really wanted to try something different, because there are so many Pho restaurants in the area. So, I ordered the Bun Miss Saigon (#42). If you know me, you know I love noodles. And Vietnamese Bun is a very large bowl of Vermicelli Noodles with fresh lettuce, pickles, cucumber, bean sprouts, scallions, and crunchy peanuts. It's served with a delicious sweet & sour fish sauce for dipping or to pour over the dish. #42 also includes a sliced egg roll, BBQ Pork, BBQ Chicken, Shrimp, and a Shrimp Paste Roll (it's flaky and delicious). I loved my Bun Miss Saigon! It was loaded with freshness and deliciousness. I began by dipping the egg roll and the shrimp paste roll in the fish sauce. Eventually, I poured the fish sauce over the dish and added some chili sauce and chili oil to give it a little kick because the dish is served without any heat. It was so delicious, that I ate the entire bowl. My friend was unable to finish his, so he took a little less than half home for dinner. My friend also had a Vietnamese Coffee that he said was delicious. Their menu is large and is loaded with really nice pictures and descriptions of their many dishes. I can't wait to try more of them. I highly recommend Miss Saigon, especially if you're looking to try something different than your regular Thai or Chinese dishes.“

“I love this place, it’s one at of my Franklin favorites. The food is wonderful and the staff couldn’t be better. I always get the noodle bowl with chicken as my protein. There is also a great beer selection. I will say, I was very disappointed to learn they were discontinuing their Thursday night trivia, which I had regularly attended with my family. I would completely understand needing to change the prize amounts (I would hate if trivia night hurt them more than helped them), but cancelling it is a bummer. I’m still a big proponent of Vui’s, but I will miss my weekly trivia ritual!“

“I can’t say better things about Pho Ann! The entire experience is great. I’ve been here many times throughout the years and I never have a bad visit. This time in particular I had a great server, Ha. Ha was very accommodating when we added a guest and needed a bigger table, helped with choosing our meals and gave great advice for what to get, and helped package our food up too! She made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of the entire time. The shrimp spring rolls are my favorite starter and the shrimp pho with chicken broth is amazing.“

“I loved everything! BBQ Pork Banh Mi had so much flavor and was so fresh. The bread was still warm, soft yet crusty. I will absolutely be rushing back. The tiger drink with boba was great for me, they accommodated my sweetness and almond milk swap. Someone at the store recommended the fruit tea and it was so good! The fruit at the bottom of the Nashville Spring was a great ending to the drink.“

“I really like this place. The food is consistently good. I live nearby, so it’s very convenient. I live so close in fact that when they installed their new *extremely loud* electronic entry bell I can hear it ringing in my apartment every time someone opens the restaurant door. I’ve asked them about turning it down and they said “tough luck.” It’s so loud that I can’t imagine ever sitting in the dining room and eating there when you can get blasted by a blaring alarm tone with every customer who enters. Fix it and I’ll fix my rating.Edit: sounds like they turned down the obnoxious noise.“
