“Had the bread and ombré cheese; farro and local mushrooms, trout; lamb; chocolate mousse and peach sorbet. Excellent food. Impeccable, relatable service. Nice ambiance. One negative- when the front door opened, a draft swept through. Loved our special 39th Valentines Day.“

This was our first time visiting, they had a “Christmas Eve” menu which looked delicious but we came with our hearts set on the steak; no questions asked the kitchen was happy to adjust, we received the best steak we have tasted yet! “I can't even begin to say how amazing this place was. We booked the 12:30 show at the Bluebird on 3rd and Lindsley. Even though it was not at the actual Bluebird Cafe, it did not disappoint. The round of musicians performed so many songs that brought back some fun line dancing times from when I was in college. The performances exceeded my expectations. This is a MUST DO if you are to visit Nashville.“

“I enjoyed this place. I really wouldn't call it a restaurant per se since it is in a mall court, but it did well carving out its own niche. That being said, the offerings and pairings were delightful. We sampled about 7 or 8 plates. I mistakenly thought that you got wine to sample with certain cheeses, but that was not the case. This place is not my husband's thing, but he loosened up and picked several things for us to try. I think it's worth a trip just to experience.“

“Bad Idea was the complete opposite of its name, truly. It was the best idea my husband and I have had in a while. We went to celebrate my birthday and left with such a refreshed love for food and wine. The atmosphere is beautiful and comfortable. The wine list is extensive and diverse. And the food, my god, the food. Highly recommend to anyone in the East Nash area looking for a new favorite.“

“I went on a chilly fall night and there's limited indoor seating. The outdoor area is beautiful though! With tables, booths, and fire pits. If you get easily chilled, steer away from here during the colder months. The wine selection was satisfactory and the service was attentive. I bet this is a great summer hang out spot and I look forward to trying again.“

“My husband and I are from out of town, NC. We were looking for a nice restaurant away from all the downtown bars. I did a lot of searching and googling restaurants around downtown and I found Frankies! I was so happy I did bc my husband and I had a great night! It was a Saturday so it was bus; we had reservations but still had to wait only 5-10 mins. The waiter was honest about helping us make choices, and the manager was helping our section, too! She was so sweet! My husband and I order the tray that has meat and cheese then got bread. I guess since the Manager took our order our waiter forgot our entrees but honestly we didn’t realize we have been waiting too long bc of the two starts and great conversations. But because they forgot and we had to wait the Manager gave us our desserts for free. The level of responsibility and care for us was amazing! The manager and I got to talk a little as we left and I got to thank her. She really is so nice but the whole staff was amazing, too, like 3 people on our way out told us thank you! I think the prices were great and fair. I have a small plate restaurant in NC that charges more. Will try to come back on future trips!!“
