“this place is so good and so cheap ?‍??? don’t mind the bad reviews they just complain too much smh. but anyway i highly recommend the special roll. it was definitely the highlight of my experience, also very good portions too. there was a small mistake with the bill but the waitress fixed it up in no time with no problems. 10/10 will be coming again ??“

“We enjoy this restaurant. Great addition to Alvin. Our only complaint is not allowing all ages to order from kids menu. Charge more for a teen or adult ordering from that menu, if that is the issue, but not everyone can eat the bigger adult portion size and people with food sensory issues can't order if dining with their family. You're losing money and alienating return customers.“

“The owner was so nice and you can tell he’s so passionate about what he does. He was super personable and suggested some great food for us. The sushi itself is SO FRESH. Like, you can definitely tell how fresh it is. Overall it’s a really awesome spot and I love the picnic table right by so we could eat outside!“

“Really great service and great food. Came with my 4 year old who recently discovered her love for sushi, and we were treated very well. Our server, Ethan, was accommodating, and the sushi was delicious.They have some dedicated vegetarian sushi rolls, including a tempura sweet potato roll that was incredible. They had a few other vegetarian options but I was stuff after 4 rolls. I will definitely be back to try the portobello!“

My wife loves the ramen here, she's had both the Miso and Tonkatsu pork ramen and loves them both... Me on the other hand, love my special sushi rolls, and here my favorites are the Angry Dragon roll, Yummy roll, and Chameleon roll, the Angry Dragon has a really good kick to it... The spring rolls are delicious, the egg drop soup was good, the house salad was great, and the karaage chicken was hot and fresh.... Definitely found another great Japanese dish spot to eat at... “This place is so neat! We recently went with a group of friends and as soon as you walk in you're in awe with the fresh sushi being made and the bagoda style booths. Our server was super sweet and answered all the questions we had about the different types of sushi and appetizers. The appetizers, sushi, salads and soups, and hibachi are all included in the all you can eat price as well as soft drinks and dessert. I'm not a huge sushi fan but there were lots of veggie options and cooked sushi as well. Not too expensive either when you consider how much sushi normally costs.“

We were seated quickly.We tried the Curry Chicken and Spicy Cream Vegan ramens, as well as chicken fried rice. The chicken bun and vegan bun were quite good. Really liked the sauces used in the buns. Spicy cream vegan was very good. I'm usually a meat-eating person so I was skeptical. Surprisingly good.Mango Yogurt - not what we expected. From the name, you'd imagine that it has yogurt in it. Something similar to Mango Lassi in Indian restaurants. It was just juice... ??Service - This is where I had a gripe. I get it that employees attend tables and they can get tired. So if they're sitting down at the table and taking a break, of course that's fine; not at all an issue. But when they're all at a table, ALL of them on their phones, and not paying attention to the tables - that's just sloppiness. They really need to pay more attention to the tables and at least take turns in taking breaks.“
