“My best friend and I visited Restaurant506 after getting massages at the spa. I will admit I had never heard of Sanford House and so had no expectations going in, but left feeling like I had discovered a hidden gem! The food at the restaurant was fantastic. It was so hard to even choose what to get from the menu because everything sounded so good. I ended up getting the daily special, which was seared salmon over a parmesan risotto. My friend got the crab cakes benedict. Both were amazing! I also loved the bread they brought us to snack on before our meals arrived. Afterward, we ordered the creme brulee and cranberry pecan bread pudding. Bread pudding is usually hit or miss, but this one was definitely a hit! It was moist and flavorful with lots of pecans and cranberries inside. Our server, Jacob, was welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable. We truly felt pampered and catered to. I can't wait to come back!”

Division Brewing 506 E Main St, Arlington Brewery • $$

“I wanted to give this place a three, but the pros outweigh the cons. Walking in, I was surprised by the stetched out interior. There appears to be space, but if there was a crowd, it would easily get cramped, especially at the counter. I was surprised they didn't have more beers on tap, but they still had a good variety. I Ordered the Able Abby, which was a white pie with sausage and pistachios. They ran out of out of grated parmesan while I was there, which was kinda odd, but I guess that shows how popular It is. While I did like the pistachios, there were barely any pistachios on the pizza. There was no green garnish like basil to make the presentation more exciting either. But flavor wise I was impressed. It was similar to cenzos where its simple but all the ingredients are accounted for, high quality, and work harmoniously together. While I say take my experience with a grain of salt, on a good day, this place is worth going to.”

“Had a great experience at Mariano's while I was in Dallas for the weekend! I had no issues getting a parking spot and was promptly seated. My friend tried their margarita and said it was amazing- our waitress made a lot of great recommendations and seemed to appear right as we needed her. Food portions were huge- and I was shocked at how fast we got our food after ordering. This place is a well-oiled machine, ha-ha. Also really recommend the queso + salsa. They had two types of salsas, both were good and completely different from one another (think one being more watery/hot and the other more chunky and medium heat). Honestly can't say enough good things about this place, it had a good interior dining atmosphere and seemed to be managed incredibly well.”

Pollo Regio 1050 NE Green Oaks Blvd, Arlington Mexican • $

“As I was walking home from work, I heard the vicious roar of an empty stomach after my 10 hour shift. I didn't wanna walk any further than I already had to, and this is one of the places otw back to my house. I stopped in front of the restaurant, sized it up and walked in with the idea of this being another regular tex mex place. As I walked in I was greeted by a colorful atmosphere and one associate at the front. I looked and pondered on the menu and was debating on just going to sonic since I've never even been here. However, the rain was too close by to add another stop to my aching feet so I settled within my indecisive thoughts on just staying put. I asked an associate what was good n she recommended the regio bowl. I agreed and she politely explained all the ingredients and the American names for the meat selection. I settled on bistec bowl. I walked out, made it home after the rain relinquished it's anger on me, and opened my bag up. I carefully dug apart each layer of this bowl and decided to add the Pico, salsa, sour cream n avocado that comes with it in the bag. Opened my complimentary package of plastic silverware, n decided to blend everything together after seeing it was almost like Chipotle bowls. I finished mixing the layers, scooped a nice size bite onto my provided spoon n ate it. I stopped mid chew when I realized this was better than Chipotle. Who can beat Chipotle? Pollo regio.”

rocketbelly 100 W Pioneer Pkwy Ste. 156, Arlington Bubble Tea • $

“I have always come back to Rocketbelly for Boba ever since I discovered a news coverage video on Instagram. When I first tried it, I thought it was good, but I wasn't crazy about it because I am so used to Boba places having more "extra" looking drinks. You gotta remember, this is a build it your own boba place. The drink is whatever you make it. Honestly was skeptical on a "DIY" boba place but now I have come back so often. It's simple but so delicious. I especially love the Ube and Thai Tea flavors along with the Plain/Brown Sugar boba! Rocketbelly has become my go when it comes to where I stay for work. Olivia always greets me every single time I walk in, so I know the service is always going to me amazing. The ambiance of course is so cute. The space theme really lives up to it's name. Writing this as I am sick and craving boba right now lol keep up the great work girl!”

Texas Coffee School 7203 S Cooper St #101, Arlington Coffee & Tea • $$$

“I attended the Texas Coffee School in January of 2024. I waited a few months before posting the review to see how well the classroom transferred to my real-world adventure. Tom and his partners are great, but being a former journalist I’m a trust, but verify kinda guy. I challenged everything from equipment choices to roasters before making my choices. And I came back to almost everything the school recommended. If you think the cost of the school is high, plus travel expenses, I get it. That said, it will end up being a small budget line with a large ROI as you follow your passion. The hints and direction they offer will cover the cost of the class. Fact. I’m almost more appreciative of the TIME they have saved me. You have a million decisions to make. Do you want to spend it researching the best cleaning supplies for your machine or guessing how many heavy-walled shot glasses you need? They’ve done it for you. More importantly they teach you the how and why behind a mean shot. That said, my latte art still sucks. Enjoy the journey, count cars and watch your costs.”

Unfortunately the waiter we had or server. kept messing up the order, but that can happen with so busy. But one thing they should do is before they put the plate down on the table ask and make sure if it even belongs to that table? because she put a whole plate down on my table and when I realize it wasn’t my food, I had already touched the plate and I know how certain people are with other people handling other people too unless you are the worker but she directly gave it to the table across from us and apologize without them, knowingbut enough for the bad stuff I recommend whatever this is called in the picture it’s super sweet, but it’s satisfied my pregnancy craving”

“Me and my girlfriend came in on a Saturday afternoon and it was completely empty inside. The man who greeted us and took our order was extremely polite and nice, he even offered us some hot tea while we waited for our food. We ordered the Chicken Shwarma, Hummus, and Gyro Plate. With the amazing service we experienced, we knew the food was already going to be delicious. The gyro meat was tender and well balanced with the meat to rice to sauce ratio (even included extra sauce on the side without us having to ask!). The salad that came with the gyro plate was very good as well, we could tell they make their dressing in house and the ingredients felt very fresh. The chicken shwarma was amazing, the chicken was well seasoned and tender and the sauce inside of it was the cherry on top. The hummus was fresh and delicious, probably one of the best we've had. There is no reason this place should ever be empty, pls try this!! Will definitely be back!”

“One of the standout dishes at El Ranchito is their mole, a rich and complex sauce that embodies the essence of Mexican cuisine. Each bite reveals layers of flavor, from the earthiness of the chocolate to the warmth of the spices, creating a symphony of tastes that dance on your palate. Paired with tender pieces of chicken , it's a dish that leaves a lasting impression.Equally impressive is the caldo de camaro, a hearty shrimp soup bursting with freshness and depth. The broth, infused with herbs and vegetables, is a testament to the chef's skill in balancing flavors, while the plump shrimp add a satisfying texture to every spoonful. It's comfort food at its finest, perfect for warming both body and soul. While the food undoubtedly steals the show, the service at El Ranchito is decent, if not exceptional. Servers are attentive and friendly, though there may be occasional lapses in efficiency during peak hours. However, the genuine warmth and hospitality of the staff help create a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall dining experience. One area that could use improvement is the parking situation. Despite the restaurant's popularity, the parking lot can become chaotic, with patrons vying for limited space. Encouraging more organized parking or providing alternative options could alleviate this issue and ensure a smoother dining experience for guests. In conclusion, El Ranchito Restaurant offers a tantalizing journey through the diverse flavors of Mexico. From the sublime mole to the comforting caldo de camaro, every dish is a testament to the chef's dedication to authenticity and quality. While there are minor areas for improvement, the exceptional food more than makes up for any shortcomings, making El Ranchito a must-visit destination for lovers of Mexican cuisine.”

The food was delicious. But our waiter was very condescending. We sat in the back with an amazing view of AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Field, but our experience was tainted by some of his statements and service of our table. It didn't match the quality of the restaurant. When asked about serving sizes and different things on the menu, he came off as if we had never been to a steakhouse before. There is a huge difference between being informative and understanding the menu, than arrogant with a hint of privilege. At the very end of the night the same waiter came back and tried to share a story of another customer he served. The story was similar to how our experience with him went. He then decided to change his dialect and tone to act as if he was portraying another minority that was mad at his service tips. At that point it was a sour end to a delightful evening.”

“I really enjoy coming to this place we always throw our birthdays parties there or just a fun night out there is a good mix of people they do have a dress code that is strictly enforced so make sure you are dressed appropriately because you will not get in if you aren’t no shorts no athletic pants ball caps or T shirts. jeans and a nice shirt is fine with a nice pair of shoes. and there is something for everybody from a hooka lounge on there well spaced patio that also has a bar they offer reasonably priced bottle service it’s clean very well decorated they have 2,dance floors where on one they play music for the younger crowd which is reggeton and reparto on the other side they play music for the older crowd or for people enjoy bachata salsa and merengue I also love that they have excellent security the club tends to get packed but I have Never seen a fight break out there inside or outside the club which is rare in a place that gets so crowded in all of the years that I have gone. So safety is not an issue and they care about there customers if someone is too drunk to drive they will put them in a Lyft or an Uber if the person doesn’t have anyone with them or is unable to come get them. Which I also love because now days a lot of places could care less. The staff is super friendly everyone from the valets to the security bar tenders DJs and waitresses the manager is also an awesome guy he’s great at what he does he is always willing to accommodate you weather it be a problem with your bill to no toilet paper in the bathroom. “This is my 2nd time at this location, The Highlands, and we almost didn't come back after the first time. We had made reservations multiple times only to be canceled less than 24hr before hand without notice to accomodate larger parties. Under the new management I have to say that the food has improved tremendously. Everything we ordered was, first of all, available, and of great quality. We weren't rushed through our meal and had a great waitress!!! I would recommend this location for a girls night out or date night! Make sure to get the table with the double burner to get double the cheese, cooking liquid, and chocolate. Julie was the manager on duty during our visit. She took time out of her rounds stop and check in with us.”

It was busy, but the owner was kind and answered any questions we had about the menu. Ordered the fried shrimp balls as an appetizer... the coating was a coconut coating which was different. Wasn't bad, but wasn't mind blowing. The lobster was good! They served a lot to us. We also ordered the Banh Hoi and it wasn't a lot of food for $45???? I wasn't too impressed.

The Vegetable Samosa served as a perfect appetizer,The Vegetable Biryani was a flavorful masterpiece, and the Paneer dish was simply divine. And let's not forget the sweet finale with the delectable Gulab Jamun. Every dish was with authentic flavors. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring our dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Not to mention, the cleanliness of the place added to the overall comfort. I highly recommend this restaurant.”

“We had a table of eight people and everyone was extremely helpful! My group is here with an esports tournament so finding good food can be tough but Dallas and Sofia were amazing with taking orders, filling cups, and making sure everything was perfect! Thank you so much for an amazing meal and an amazing experience!”

Taipo 200 E Abram St Suite 140, Arlington Fast Food • $

“Coolest Nepalese restaurant and speakeasy. If you are looking for a unique dining experience this is the place. When you first enter, it is your standard quick dining experience but the food is nothing short of amazing; serving momos and taipos and a number of other Nepalese dishes. The food is great and the portions are huge. Now for the speakeasy part. Tucked away behind a beautiful door is the elegant and culturally stunning bar. The atmosphere is laid back and just enough noise to make the experience feel intimate. The ceilings are hand painted and the art shipped in from Nepal. The drinks were unique and delicious! Would highly recommend the speakeasy for a nice date.”

“Ate here 2/18/24 in the later evening (8ish) we ordered Goat Curry, Chicken Tikka Quesadilla and Gurab Jamun. The order was out in about 10-15 minutes as expected. The goat curry was amazing! Super tender, with a wonderful flare of spice it was served with jasmine rice that was good too! The quesadillas were good. My husband really enjoyed them. I didn’t get to the dessert but will eat it later on! If you haven’t given this place a try you are missing out!”

Portillo's 4200 S Cooper St, Arlington Hot Dogs • $

“This place rocks in Arlington Texas. I was very skeptical when they were building in Arlington because I ate at one while on vacation in Chicago. I believe Chicago is where they originate from. In Chicago they were horrible. Food was ?? terrible, but I guess coming to Texas helped them get their food ? legit. I had a burger, a fish sammy, and a dog. Crinkle cut fries were also good…. real good.”

“5 stars for ambiance, service and food. So many selections. Food quality is fantastic for an AYCE K-BBQ. Their bulgogi is soft and tender... that bulgogi marinade is banging good! Spicy pork ribs, pork with cheese katsu, japchae, hottok are amazing! I used to only go to Omi but from now on I'm going to Gen for korean BBQ.”
