“We are from out of town and only went to the Lamar Blvd location because of previous reviews and it was close to our hotel. So glad we went there for lunch. The hostess greeted us and quickly showed us to a table. We had the good fortune of getting Jordan as our server. She is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, made great food suggestions and was spot on the entire meal. The food was delicious, and the experience could not have been better. I highly recommend the restaurant and if Jordan is working hope to get her as a server.“

“Lisa's chicken never disappoints. It is one of the few fadt food places that you can still get your money's worth price wise. Their chicken gizzard are always great. As well as the fried shrimp. Their fried rice is also good plus great portions.“

“While I was visiting from Virginia, my daughter took me to Breakfast Brothers for breakfast. The first thing that I noticed was how extremely clean the restauraunt was, including the bathroom. The second thing that I noticed was that the menu had so many incredible options that I literally struggled to choose what to order. Our waiter, Anthony was great, but also every other staff member smiled when there was eye contact. I ordered the shrimp and grits AND a side of french toast, because I couldn't decide. My daughter had the chicken and pancakes. We shared food and EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious! I have been traveling a lot lately to various cities, including DC, New Orleans, and Cancun in the past 5 months. This was the BEST meal, that I have had! I will visit again or get takeout before I return to Virginia! Thank you for a great dining experience.“

You won't go away hungry as the burgers are generous & worthy of many more trips to try them all. Our table had the Tootsie's hot chicken sandwich, The Western and Gosh Jam It burgers. The Gosh Jam It was the table favorite with the chicken sandwich a very close second. All burgers need a knife & fork as they are way too big to get your mouth around. Come hungry & leave satisfied.“

Chicken was also solid, good crunch on the outside and juicy on the inside. Cant tell if it was the spice mix but flavor reminded me of those tyson chicken nuggets. Not bad, just not what i'm used to. Same with the mac and cheese. Good texture but just a bit odd on the flavor. Overall good spot though. Customer service was great.“

“Orchid city has always been my go to spot ever since I attended classes across the street from 2013 and quality had never changed. If anything it’s been more flavorful lately. The workers are super sweet and the owners Mary and Tai always take care of us. My favorites are crawfish, crawfish fried rice, sizzling beef plate, gumbo and fried mozzarella sticks. After an hour we still didn't receive our food so I asked and they said the kitchen was backed up, which I totally understand, but no one ever came to check in after placing our order and how everyone around us received their food except for us. All we wanted was communication. I finally asked for our food to go. I understand it might be busy, but it became busy after we sat down. We made it a point to get there early to beat the rush and still were there waiting for our food while other tables who sat after us ate, paid for their food and left. Communication is key. Never returning to this location. oh and I'll add that when we got home to finally eat, we were missing food.“

She came back several times to see if we needed anything else. My sister was not satisfied with her meatloaf. Only because the sauce was catsup. The manager agreed to take half off the ticket, she had eaten most of the vegetables. We appreciated it. Bria was patient with us.
