We went there this afternoon (race weekend) and endured probably the worst service I’ve ever received. We were told they were ‘short staffed.’ Typical everyday excuse now. Our waitress demanded we ‘pass the drinks’ and still came up short on providing drinks then gave our kids drinks to pass to us adults and then brought our kids cups for the remaining adults. If you’re so short staffed, why did you continue giving take out? Why not staff up for a busy weekend or call staff in, or hell, where was the managers and owners pulling weight. My husband and I were basically ignored and not given silverware (I proceeded to go get our own out of the basket). Our oysters sat under a heat lamp for a good 20 minutes until I asked if I could go get our food (told no then the waitress spend another 15 mins figuring out which food was who’s). The cook obviously didn’t know how to cook in order as to how it came through because a few of our friends recorded food, 2 out of 4 at another table received food, then the remainder of our party got their food and the other 2 at the other table got their food. We asked for the tools to crack the crab legs and was told by the waitress ‘sure, let me go wash some for You’ and she proceeded to keep us waiting another 20 mins before bringing them. The food was absolutely terrible. We asked how many shrimp were included in the entree and told 6 large shrimp, yet received 6 quarter size shrimp. The fries were also half frozen. It was disgusting and had no flavor. The cost was entirely too expensive for such crappy service and crappy food. Do NOT waste your time or money here. Gas station taquitos would’ve been better…..
