“Had eight guests for lunch on 12/31/22. Food and service excellent, however, when we were about to leave, a large red roach fell from the ceilings onto our table. Unfortunate ending on what should not have been a joyous occasion.“

“Went here today for the first time and had the best shrimp enchiladas of my life! The enchiladas were topped with a poblano sauce that elevated the taste to another level. I wanted black beans with my entree, but they only serve charro or refried and the waiter bought out both for me to try, and the refried beans were really seasoned and good! My Husband had the Papaya's Nachos(I think that's what they were called) which had both chicken and steak and they were pretty(if that makes sense) and good as well! Overall 2 thumbs up, we were so pleased with the service we even opted for churros to go and they were yummy! My only regret is wishing I'd thought to take pics before cleaning our plates lol!“

“I enjoyed the dinner, but it was way too hot in there. They should've had the air conditioner turned up because those hibachi grills are very hot. It was really loud inside, waitress was good but she was not attentive enough, we had to look for her most of the time. I felt it was very expensive. Drink from the bar was not that great dinner and Chef were good & overall it was a good birthday party for my son“

“We are from out of town and only went to the Lamar Blvd location because of previous reviews and it was close to our hotel. So glad we went there for lunch. The hostess greeted us and quickly showed us to a table. We had the good fortune of getting Jordan as our server. She is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, made great food suggestions and was spot on the entire meal. The food was delicious, and the experience could not have been better. I highly recommend the restaurant and if Jordan is working hope to get her as a server.“

“Simply AMAZING!!!! My children and I visited, not knowing what to expect and we were all blown away with the food. The portions were definitely Texas Size, and the flavors were amazing. I had lemon pepper and original shrimp along with a Belgian waffle - ALL DELICIOUS. Can’t wait to get back and try something different!“

“Lisa's chicken never disappoints. It is one of the few fadt food places that you can still get your money's worth price wise. Their chicken gizzard are always great. As well as the fried shrimp. Their fried rice is also good plus great portions.“

“Went here for a family birthday. Did have reservation (but unsure it was really needed on a weekday) and seated immediately. Waitstaff was pleasant, answered questions, attentive but not too much. Did have a problem with one of the steaks which was resolved immediately. Otherwise the meal was impressive. We had a great experience and will definitely return.“
