“Excellent "relaxed" restaurant. You order and pick up at the counter and the staff are friendly. On busier nights, they serve alcohol to those in line on the patio/outdoor area while they wait. Place is packed on weekend nights but worth it for the quality and price.“

“Absolutely incredible dining experience! Went last night with the husband and the night from start to finish was amazing. The entire team was wonderful, from the extremely personable and friendly host for the night (I believe his name was Kavian) to all the chefs, staff and a great surprise was meeting Chef Ling herself! The courses were to die for and the portions were perfect. We can't wait to come back and share the experience with some friends!“

“Highly recommend Pinch if you’re around the UT campus and looking for food options. The fried chicken is tasty and they have a lot of good choices when it comes to sauces. The price is pretty reasonable for the amount of food you get too.“

“This place is an absolute gem. The owner/chef is so dedicated and talented. When you walk in, the smell is incredible. I love the noodle bowl with pork shoulder. The flavors are just delicious. The noodles and produce are fresh, and it comes with egg rolls that are soooo good. The bahn mi are also delicious! My husband gets either the chicken and the pork usually, and they are both awesome. It is a nondescript building and kind of a hole in the wall, but is 100% worth the drop in to check it out. The staff are helpful and kind, and it's very clear that they care about their food. I have never had a bad experience here in the 7+ times we have been, and it's probably our favorite Vietnamese food in north Austin/Round Rock/Georgetown.“

“Nut allergy friendly! There was no one in front of us and it took us 13 minutes to get our order (notified via text).A food truck located inside of Half Step Cocktails, this stop might be the best value on Rainey. For $18 (after tax and tip) we got the Hot Nugs and Tingly Tots. The tots were just the right amount of numbing spicy and perfectly crispy, and the Hot Nugs were well balanced with spice and sweetness and the two lime wedges were perfect for it. I'd say the nugs could be a little crispier but were overall solid. The portions were enough to be a hefty snack for two people! As with every other stop on Rainey, parking is awful to impossible. We also had a slight miss in service where I got a sandwich instead of nugs at first, but thankfully I was eating near the bar and returned and got the right order.Overall, would totally return if I find myself on Rainey again.“

“Trying Bo nhung Dam (ribeye hotpot with vinegar broth) with my family. The meat, seafood and veggies are so fresh and delicious, we all loved the rolling style and dipping in the authentic fermented anchovy sauce. The broth is sweet and sour from vinegar and coconut juice with lemongrass and other herbs in there so it bring a super fresh, aromatic flavor and tenderness to the meat. The service was very nice and friendly. I got the fresh pressed kumquat sugar cane but forgot to take the picture, and it was really good too. We definitely will be back to try more of their other dishes. Maybe a crunchy baked catfish for next time cause we loved their authentic sauce (mam nem) and the rolling style.“

“Gluten free menu is awesome. They have Gluten free soy sauce and I saw in another review they prepare GF orders on a separate station. Hope that's true since I was recently diagnosed celiacs and found this place because of the GF options.“

“The food was fantastic from start to finish. We got the sunrise mimosas and both of us had two of those. We also got the steak for brunch as well as the kung pao smashed potatoes and we were in heaven the whole time. To finish it all off, we had the peached cobbler and holy smokes. It was so good! We will definitely be back and recommending it to people. “

“I recently moved into the area a few months ago and found this place not to far from my house. They do trivia every Thursday and it has become our households biweekly activity. I absolutely enjoy the atmosphere and how delicious all of their food is. The view tex martini is my number one order and well worth the price. I am looking forward to their new menu coming out in a few days and hope they don't get rid of the viet tex martini.“

“Good vibes and fun specials they have! I went with my very picky family so that's on me but keep in mind some of the menu items are pretty adventurous. The cho-Chong salad wasn't super seasoned, nor was the tofu in the tofu bao but nevertheless the Brussels were super tasty! Our waiter was super sweet, accommodating my veganism and my partner's vegetarianism as well. Definitely going back for the drink menu and overall ambiance as it is BEAUTIFUL inside.“

“Spectacular food, wonderfully prepared. Waiter friendly, intelligent, funny and just the right amount of interactive. Limited menu, but diverse and every item prepared just right. Four good draft beers. Good limited wine selection. Not high end pricey but high end and good atmosphere. Owner personable. We four old timers (60's and early 70's) felt relaxed and everything conduced to having a delightful conversation. Do not pass up the OT brownie with Ube butter. Uniquely delicious, but very very buttery rich..“

“Long live Ling Wu’s! This is hands down our family’s favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. We also leave feeling happy with the outstanding food and service. We always come here for special occasions or if we need a pick me up if we’ve had a rough week. We love the whole team here!“

“I planned to go to Chinatown North for dim sum but the sign at the entrance said to head downstairs for dim sum, where Street is below. The waiter said they are connected but different establishments and the dim sum servers upstairs would come from the lower kitchen anyway. I ate here with a close friend after wrapping up weekend meetings in Austin. The place has a good vibe and friendly service, quite modern and clean. We shared six items and everything had great flavor, with the turnip cake and prawn siu mai being my favorites. Above average pricing for dim sum but I think that comes with the experience. Good spot for a date or with friends. I would go back.Parking: Free parking lot around the building.“

“I can’t recommend this place enough! The prices and the portions are unbeatable. I get a bento box every time and always have enough for leftovers. The server we’ve always had is so helpful and welcoming. He recommended a premium salmon roll (pictured below) this time and it was amazing.“

“Pleasantly surprised since I found it on the spot. I had a work lunch here and was impressed with the excellent and expedited service. Located at the start of Rainey Street, the place is tiny, cozy and has really amazing decor and loud color that I love. Did not get to try any of the cocktails since I was there for lunch. Looks like they have a list of mocktails as well. I was very happy with everything that my group ordered but I was most impressed with the cauliflower, which did not make it to photos because that's how good it was. Ask for extra Green goddess dressing on the side and you will not be disappointed. I'm eager to go back and try two other dishes that I was considering today, as well as getting more of the cauliflower. This is certainly a place I will be frequenting when I am downtown. Highly recommend!“

“This is the epitome of Austin & it’s DELICIOUS!! A delectable blend of food from Nepal and India and it comes in a nice package of great customer service wrapped with a yummy bow! Authentic fusion of two scrumptious genres or food that I honestly can’t get enough of! I took my children over the last time we were in the area and we can’t say enough positive things about FUSION EVEREST KITCHEN!! I’m always greater with the warmest smile and friendly disposition! She recognized me immediately ill. My second visit and my taste buds were delighted to try something new on the menu! Paneer 65!! Chow mein noodles! The mango lassi!! If you’re not sure what to order ask for a recommendation!! 5 stars and two thumbs up for sure!!“

“Discovered this restaurant while exploring downtown on foot and was pleasantly surprised. Service was really fast and the workers here were nice. They even had miso soup on the house! Definitely a hidden gem in Austin. Everything tasted great and the portion sizes were pretty big. We ordered the pan-seared ahi tuna bowl with avocado and a spicy chicken bowl, both were great and very filling. The smoked salmon roll appetizer tasted really fresh as well. Passion fruit iced tea was a favorite too. Everything had a homemade taste, in the good way. Walked in on a Saturday afternoon and there was no wait. A great quick-ish bite if you're exploring downtown!“

“Food 9/10 Service 3/10 Came here last week with a small work group of 8. The food was great and the atmosphere was perfect. Soup dumplings are incredible as well as the fried rice. My complaint on the service is that they have "partners" for service and in doing so they share tables and are NOT efficient and actually quite the opposite. Half our table had drinks for 20 min before the other half got them because each of the servers thought the other was getting them. We asked for our fried rice quite literally 6 times and they just kept brining out the white rice says that the table only fits so many items. We kindly said we realize that, so take back the white we won't eat it and bring out our fried rice, it was like we were inconveniencing the servers. They brought out the fried rice LAST after nearly 2 hours of being there and no one was hungry anymore. If someone orders fried rice they want it with their main meal. Not brought out like a desert.“

“Chicken Adoba taco is insanely good, I usually sub beef because I also love their fajita beef. As fusions go, this place nails it. The meat must be marinated in some kind of soy sauce mix, and doing so adds such an authentic and balanced fusion with the fresh grilled veggies that you truly get the best of both worlds. They don't skimp you on portions and doing so makes this place first choice before 90% of ATX Mexican-Asian fusion.“

“Nice little spot! Fresh ingredients and attentive service. It felt very comfortable, I had an issue with one of my dishes and they promptly corrected it. I tried the edamame, wonton soup and sesame chicken. My brother had the sesame shrimp. I appreciate the experience and will definitely be back.“

“If you live off South Lamar I can't stress enough that Texami is the latest and greatest food truck that has shown up on the block. I tried their breakfast tacos first, and Peter (the owner) does an excellent job on toasting the tortilla and not skimping on the ingredients inside. It gets better though, I tried the steak quesadilla this afternoon and it's savory and filling. This owner is going places and I highly recommend trying out what he has to offer. Also rad that he plays the guitar out front until the customer comes up to the window.“

“My family and I came here last night to try something different than the same old restaurants. I ordered the Birria sandwich, Chicken Masala, and shrimp tacos. First, my Birria sandwich was delicious and packed with flavor and the consomé was perfect. I loved the chili oil it was very flavorful. It could have been spicier. I do like spicy heat! My husband's masala was amazing better than any other place in town that is offering anything Indian inspired. I can't comment on the shrimp tacos because i have an allergy to shrimp. However, they were beautiful and we didn't have any leftovers. I need to try the whole menu!! We will certainly be back! The service was super friendly and they brought our food out which was cool. I would like to add that they did have vegan options which I will definitely be having soon. I prefer vegan food but I can't resist Birria. Definitely go check this spot out!! I would love for them to become a permanent fixture in our food scene. I believe they could raise the bar.“

“So many good things to say about this place!1.You walk up and order, so it’s an easygoing start to a great meal2.The menu is straightforward and non fussy: decision fatigue be gone (unless you’re starving and can’t think)3. The restaurant is clean, fresh, trendy, and casual4. The yakitori noodles were hot and flavorful/the steak and shrimp were really fresh too. It’s a basic stir fry with ramen type noodles, a few veggies, and a protein5. The cucumber mint limeade was freshly made - it was not artificial at allThis place is an excellent option if you want quick and fresh sushi/modern Asian menu and some refreshing drink options that you can sip on the go.I’ll be back when I’m in the area. Thanks, Muse!“

“My husband and I ordered online we ordered the beef bulgogi bowl my husband ordered a large bowl with extra meat and white rice and I ordered the regular size with fried rice. It’s a unique experience because they have iPads that scan your order screen and it opens up the locker with your food inside it’s pretty neat. Apart from that the food was so good and hot my fried rice was flavorful but didn’t have an eggy taste it tasted so good with the meat it had veggies and they were perfectly cooked I didn’t order extra meat but I feel like it came with a lot.“

“First of all, customer service is amazing here! I didn't catch his name, but the man who answered the phone was super friendly and informative! I got the Tonkatsu with a side of spicy edamame. It was honestly such big portions, I was in way over my head! But everything was amazing, down to the sticky rice. Tonkatsu was crispy and juicy, the sauce was fire. When I came in the guy with the cool haircut helped me & was really nice, definitely would come back!“

“I came to this taco truck yesterday and it was so good I had to come back by again today!! I tried the steak burrito yesterday and it was amazing, super flavorful, and the salsas were on point. “Ok wow - this place impressed me!!! Came on a weekend and they had lunch special - first win. Every entree included a soup, egg roll, and crab Rangoon. All were delicious. I got the hot and sour soup. We got the orange pork and the garlic sauce beef - wow both were so good, flavorful and FRESH!! The orange pork was freshly fries and soooo crispy. Will definitely be back. All of that plus a soft drink out the door around $30 including tip?!? Incredible. Definitely adding to my rotation.“
“Honestly, a pretty decently priced restaurant! And the food is high quality too! Shared an appetizer and the sashimi bowl with a friend and we were both decently full at the end. The takoyaki is so creamy and it comes out nice and warm. Would definitely recommend that. And the sashimi bibimbap is so worth it. For $23 you get a huge bowl of sashimi, rice, and vegetables. And you get to mix it all like bibimbap.“

“Finally, I had the time to try this adorable little place! The VERY colorful murals on the walls are so cute & they have a couple of comfy chairs to sit & relax on with cute, colorful pillows. I got the 2 bao/1 side combo plate. They have several fancy, sweet drinks, but I opted for a bottle of Coke. I chose the Teriyaki chicken & egg custard baos with Szechuan fries. Everything was very tasty & the chicken bao was my favorite. Pros: Very helpful server They had REAL plate for dine in! ;) Negatives, to me: Plasticware Plastic sauce cups Plastic straws :(“

“Soup dumplings came in a set of 3. They were good along with the fried shrimp wontons, egg cream buns, and turnip cakes. I got the Chinese broccoli with the sauce on the side.I feel that the oyster sauce / sesame oil was too thin and need more oyster sauce to thicken it and make it more flavorful. Other than that I would come again.“

“We ordered online over the pandemic and really enjoyed it, so we decided to visit in person. Unfortunately, I think the quality has decreased since then. I was surprised by the amount of good reviews; I think it's good but not great. The food is good, but tastes a little cheap: everything tastes watered down. From the salad dressing to the soy sauce and teriyaki chicken. Overall, it was still very enjoyable! They have many options and the food is still tasty. It reminds me of comfort food but Asian; it is cheerful, simple, and satisfying to eat.“

“The meat was tough and stringy like it had been there for ever. They were out of fries and wings an hour before close which was fine. But there was a huge idle of water on the floor and I put their wet floor sign up. It was my first time trying this place if the lady wasn’t so friendly I would have just left. I think it’s worth giving it another due to the veggie combo being so delicious.“

“Came in from AZ to get some great Austin food. One of my clients mentioned Chi'lantro. We bopped in for lunch. I had the famous fries. They were very good! The layers of flavors & sauces were spot on. Perhaps the fries were a little under done. If they been crispier they would have held up to the wet toppings better. My husband had a pop chicken bowl. Very good as well.“

“The staff is super nice! The waiter even let my wife eat her food that she brought with her from another restaurant and didn’t say anything. I had the Kung Pao tofu. The tofu was overcooked and difficult to chew and the kung pao sauce wasn’t as spicy as I like it to be. Their deficiencies in the food were made up for by the friendly wait staff. I will be back again. Maybe their other dishes are better!“
