I tried the Tofu Banh Mi and the marinade was delicious! One of the better tofu ones I've had.

The prices match the taste and quality. I got the tofu one and the bread is too dense and nothing like an authentic banh mi. The tofu filling had a nice texture, similar to meat. I wish there was an option to add more spice. The garlic bread is inedible. Do not buy it. It’s loaded with sugar, way too sweet, and we threw it out after one bite.I wouldn’t order from here again.

The bahn mi was okay (definitely not traditional in style or flavor), but the chicken bowl I got was terrible. The chicken was overcooked, dry, and completely flavorless. I’m talking not a single piece of seasoning on this meat. It tasted boiled. So avoid the chicken dishes.

I got there at 745p and it closes at 830p (google). It’s a food stall and I can’t order on the app because it stopped taking orders. Can comment on food, but wasted a lot of my time.

This is located inside a shared food space hub which you can easily order from different restaurants. Banh mi Oven is my interesting find and I often go here for favorite grilled pork one.

I'm slowly working my way though all the bahn mi sandwiches in the area with mixed success. I grew up in Houston where bahn mi is cheap, everywhere, and often fantastic. There are decent places in Austin but it's usually a drive and usually a little more money than you would like.Bahn Mi Oven was a pleasant surprise. We neglected this place for awhile due to some critical reviews and the "is this actually a restaurant or does it only exist online" sorta vibe. My mistake, I will definitely be returning in the future. We got the stringed tofu w/ an added fried egg. Generous portions, fresh ingredients, a good sandwich. The bread was tasty. The crust was little soft, but I personally don't mind. I would prefer more jalapenos. The fried egg was cooked just right and the tofu was very tasty. All of the veggies were great. Our brussel sprouts side was solid. I really enjoyed my green Thai tea - creamy and not too sweet.I didn't like the amount of packaging with my delivery order (sandwiches wrapped in individual halves, utensils, napkins, two bags...) But I realize this is a plus for some folks.Maybe it's not the best the best but I suspect many folks are sleeping on this place - their loss. Can't wait to try more of the menu.

This is a spot in a "food court" that's almost completely automated. There are 40 restaurants in the space, but you order everything from a touch screen. The guy running the counter was nice and helpful. Got the grilled pork Banh mi - it is not good. Bread isn't good and the pork isnt grilled. It's cooked, but there's no char on it. The boba they use in the tea has a cartilage consistency. Which is not what I was looking for. Absolutely don't recommend this place.

As a Vietnames person, I think the taste of their banh mi is pretty delicious, especially the number 8 with pork belly. The only thing I would like to change is probably adding less pickles to have a better balance of flavor. But overall, it is worth trying.

The beef bahn mi was super tasty! Great for road trip lunch! The peach tea is also amazing, love the bits of peaches included!

Thought that place was traditional restaurant but not. Really not for Vietnamese. If you guys want to focus on others not Vietnamese customers, it is fine. We Vietnamese just want to come and see the real store not like this. Lol. Good luck. You won’t get Vietnamese customers.

Great food, and the to-go packaging is FABULOUS!

I usually don't write reviews ever but I had to support this place. Their customer service is better than Chick-fil-A. You can tell they really care about their customers. I went to a Tet festival and their food and drinks made a huge impression on me. I've been trying to track them down since and I'm glad I did. I will say, they close whenever they sell out and it's run like a ghost kitchen. When we got their, they were closed and the owner was nice enough to give us two drinks. I'm usually a milk tea girl but their peach green tea was phenomenal. But I would recommend their PANDAN MILK because I was hypnotized when I tried it.

Very delicious. I'll recommend anyone try this one.

Banh Mi Oven makes delicious sandwiches. I grew up in Little Saigon (California) and was spoiled by the endless supply of bahn mi on every corner. This was surprisingly good - the bread was perfect, the filling was generous (I got bbq pork and Chinese sausage), and the price was reasonable. The thing that I did enjoy that I didn’t expect was that they cut all their sandwiches in half. Because of their great size, it felt like I got 4 sandwiches. My only problem with this place it’s that it’s inside a shared kitchen so the ordering experience is a little off but I understand that it works out while they grow. I wish I lived closer so I could DoorDash it.
