“We had a great time! We came on a Saturday afternoon and had the roasted pig and it was excellent. The live entertainment was great. Beer was cold and fun to try the variety. We didn't feel rushed. Just enjoyed visiting with each other over good food!“

“I love this Austin staple, been going for almost 15 years. Their selection of beer is top notch and their cocktails aren't too shabby either.They have expanded their outdoor seating which is where most people spend their time. The inside is still as grungy as ever and smells of yeast and freshly made/spilled beer. One negative is that there are only two single-occupant bathrooms.“

I wouldn't call it a "bar"... but they do have MANY infused spirits (they infuse in jars before your very eyes!)GREAT place to work &/or bring your dog.Several VEGAN/ VEGETARIAN FOOD TRUCKS! Delicious breakfast, lunch & dinner options!What REALLY sets them apart for me is that they have an outdoor "club" (think adult Scouts!) called the Lumber Society. Check it out! I've taken SEVERAL of the classes! Very knowledgeable "leaders" give talks & demonstrations on SO MANY OUTDOOR & SURVIVAL topics! And you get a FREE DRINK (coffee or alcohol) and a GORGEOUS, high-quality badge as a reward!“
