“I recently moved into the area a few months ago and found this place not to far from my house. They do trivia every Thursday and it has become our households biweekly activity. I absolutely enjoy the atmosphere and how delicious all of their food is. The view tex martini is my number one order and well worth the price. I am looking forward to their new menu coming out in a few days and hope they don't get rid of the viet tex martini.“

“We had lunch here today & it was delicious! My daughter had a vegan bowl, I had the lunch special with 2 chicken tacos & my husband had a breakfast dish. All we're very good, as we're the chips, salsa & queso. We also had margaritas with Avion tequila, that were delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone.“

“Meat & Bread is a modern sandwich shop on a quiet downtown cul-de-sac, with seating inside in a light-filled space or else outside on their small patio. Small menu but everything was assembled with care using quality ingredients and packed with flavor. Our porchetta sandwich - juicy roast pork, crispy crackling skin, salsa verde - was really tasty. The asado sandwich - braised beef, arugula, chimichurri sauce - was equally delicious. I do wish they would be a little more generous with their meat fillings. Both sandwiches had ingredients assembled mainly in the middle, leaving front and back ends to be mostly bread.“

“This place is an absolute gem. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff was lovely and don't even get me started on the pastry case! I ordered the chocolate croissant and it was the best I've had in my entire lifetime- flakey, buttery and had the perfect rich chocolate flavor. I dunked it in the cappuccino and was transported to Paris instantly. This place just became one of my favorite spots in Austin.“

“Word of Mouth has an AMAZING team! John and Sandra were fantastic people to work with. They are kind, attentive, and hardworking. The same goes for the rest of their team. Everyone showed up on time, they all looked very nice in their button-ups and gave great service to our high-end clientele.
