“Great pecan shrimp with apples, shrimp dumplings. Pass on the pork belly and super thin egg rolls. That was a bust! It is high end so be prepared.“

“Everything tasted good. Peking duck was phenomenal. Chickens& chili sauce and couples beef slices were delicious. Peashoots and duck soup was also delicious.Half the food was fantastic, the other half was just good, hence the 4stars on food, but the price was also incredible.Insane amount of food for less then $200“

“My lonely NYC tastebuds have finally found a little piece of home!! I’ve been following Chef Simone since her Little Tong days (which legit kept me fed multiple days per week during zombie COVID lockdown with their dan dan noodles) so when I saw the signs go up on Barton Springs Road you have no idea how excited I was after months of eating sad salads, pizza, bbq, and ersatz Italian. I’ve been here for date night, group dinner, bring your toddler to dinner, and brunch. Always delicious, always solid, always friendly. I literally have to fight my 3yo for chicken dumplings and now we just order 2 plates upfront to avoid tears (on both our parts). Dan dan noodles are back in my life but in a spicy ragu reincarnation. Matcha tiramisu is like a fever sex dream. And everyone is just.. so nice. From the (complimentary) valet guys to the front of house to the chefs - top notch service all around. One time I left my Peking duck leftovers on the table, got to my car, remembered and then came back in. The servers had already cleared and set for the next reservation but the manager just comped the dish off my bill. You will not have a bad meal here, ever. Trust. This snobby New Yorker knows things.“

“I recently dined at this restaurant around the corner from me that left me thoroughly impressed. The portions were generous, satisfying even the heartiest appetites. The standout dish for me was the flavorful and perfectly cooked Hunan Chicken – a must-try that exceeded my expectations. The overall experience was delightful, and I highly recommend this place for both quantity and quality lovers.“

“Long live Ling Wu’s! This is hands down our family’s favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. We also leave feeling happy with the outstanding food and service. We always come here for special occasions or if we need a pick me up if we’ve had a rough week. We love the whole team here!“

“I enjoyed our visit to RedFarm. Portions did feel a little small considering the price but the flavors were good. We also got Peking duck which was very good but the additional sauces (cranberry and Thai peanut) were a weird addition. Fortunately the traditional Hoisin sauce was great!“

“Had a fantastic experience and my family is definitely coming back! The food and the service were excellent and the Nasi Pedang was impressive. We came with children who ate picky and that also loved everything and the staff was so sweet to them. I want to eat there everyday.... At least if I could I would. 🥳“

“I've been to hotpots with this price point in Vegas and Chicago and Dallas and I was blown away with the quality of the buffet offerings at Soup Leaf. This is premium AYCE hot pot at non-premium prices. The dinner meat menu was pretty standard, but the Buffet was extraordinary as it has so many premium seafood and vegetarian item. My new favorite restaurant in Austin.“

“I enjoyed our mini brunch moment with my partner when we were waiting for some friends to head over to P6. I'll never say no to soup dumplings or baos so when my partner was craving something spicy, this seemed like a win/win moment. You place your order at the kiosk or you can ring a bell for a team member to come on out. We placed our order with the kiosk which was super nice since they had photos for visuals. My ordered consisted of the pork bao buns and soup dumplings. The soup dumplings come with a warning that they take 15 minutes to come out but they were well worth the wait! You can only grab the bao buns on the weekend from 12-5pm, but we really enjoyed them. This is like the little sibling of Wu Chow so it was nice to get a taste of it but saving a full dining experience for another moment. As for the noodles my partner made mala style. He gave it a thumbs up while slurping his food away. The broth was really good to his accord.“

“Just tried Song La for the first time today. Shirley was so incredibly friendly and the food was fantastic. I spent 3 months in Taiwan before moving to Austin and was craving some Taiwanese fried chicken and this hit the spot. Plus, everything is made to order and comes out super fresh (that said, don't come in a rush, make sure you've got a little time to enjoy their new spot at The Thicket and hang for a bit). Whether you've had Taiwanese food before and are craving it or just want to try some incredible fried chicken in a cool South Austin spot, definitely give them a try. ❤“

“West campus, a Chinese food truck slightly west of campusI bought a Liangpi. It should be $9.2 including tax. I will pay with Zelle. The Liangpi itself is quite large, with a lot of bean sprouts and shredded cucumbers. You can add all the sauce. The chili oil is very fragrant but not too spicy. The ratio of sauce to cold skin ingredients is OK when it is cold, and it is not too dry or wet. It tastes refreshing. If you like strong flavors, you may need to add more sauce. I would like to try Roujiamo next time“

“I have visited this establishment usually on Sundays after church and have tried a variety of dishes on their menu. The chips and sweet and sour sauce are a free appetizer before the meal and they are light, crispy and a great starter. I have had the crispy crab puffs, combination fried rice, salt and pepper tofu, beef and broccoli and kung pow chicken. My favorite is bean curd home style tofu because it has a variety of fresh vegetables and the tofu is cooked to a nice crisp texture. The portion sizes are very large and easy to share.“

“Only piece of advice about this place - bring a lot of friends and family to try every dumpling variety and flavor on the menu. There were 6 of us this past Sunday and we not only would we order everything we ordered again, we debated which one was the best and couldn’t decide.Started out with the green beans and mushroom salad and then ordered the green beans again - they were so good!We got at least one dumpling from every section and absolutely devoured them. Best Xiao Long Bao we’ve had in Austin so far too!Beef noodle soup was bursting with flavor and had delicious hand pulled noodles too!By the time we were leaving around 1, there was a line waiting, but it moved pretty quickly. Can’t wait to go back!Parking: Plenty of spots in the complex and parking garage within a block“

“I planned to go to Chinatown North for dim sum but the sign at the entrance said to head downstairs for dim sum, where Street is below. The waiter said they are connected but different establishments and the dim sum servers upstairs would come from the lower kitchen anyway. I ate here with a close friend after wrapping up weekend meetings in Austin. The place has a good vibe and friendly service, quite modern and clean. We shared six items and everything had great flavor, with the turnip cake and prawn siu mai being my favorites. Above average pricing for dim sum but I think that comes with the experience. Good spot for a date or with friends. I would go back.Parking: Free parking lot around the building.“

“Loved everything about the place. Love all the Austin homage and especially the Burger Tex sign on the wall. The food was delicious - exactly as advertised an American Chinese experience. The only thing I would have wanted was a little bit more heat on the chili crisp.“

“Delicious food and great service. Portion sizes are family style, so we always leave with leftovers. Try their specialties because they are unlike any Chinese food you will find in Austin. Very fast- and family owned. My absolute favorite dish is the Sichuan stir-fried chicken, definitely recommend trying it!Vegetarian options: Several dishes have options to trade out the protein for veggies or tofu, and they have a whole section for vegetarianParking: There is plenty of parking at dinner time. This shopping center's businesses are closed in the evening, so there won't be any issues finding parking.Wheelchair accessibility: My husband is a wheelchair user, the ramp is accessible and their dining area has plenty of room.“

“Actually I feel this place has the best Chinese cuisine in Austin. We ordered Fish, pork liver and fried rice. All very good taste. It's just the fish is kinda small and expensive. The disappointing part is the service. The person who took the order was very cold“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We love this restaurant! The food is always delicious and creative. The sushi is fresh and so pretty! For lunch, try a “box lunch” that includes soup, sushi, sashimi AND entree! Great value. We eat here at least once a week.“

“Wait was long, seems Sundays are the busiest. Sat or weekday is best. The food quality rivals that of the big dim sum houses in the major Chinatowns (Boston and NYC) They have the everyday dim sum items and some really well done dishes like the sesame balls and fried shrimp balls. Their chicken feet was perfectly done. You can tell how the rest of the food by their execution of chicken feet.“

“As of March 31 they are closed. I'm devastated since I have been eating here every week for years and loved it. The owner told me three weeks ago they were going to close on Sunday (2 weeks from my last visit) but I thought she meant closing just for Easter. Otherwise I would have eaten here 4 or 5 times a week until the last day!!“

“The sushi here is pretty fire, I particularly like the king salmon belly and yellowtail belly sashimi, which are very fatty and buttery cuts. The wasabi is pretty strong and fresh as well, always a good sign. Seaweed salad portions were very generous, also a plus. Hot and sour soup was nicely done. For an entree, I throughly savored the sea bass.“

“Absolutely incredible dining experience! Went last night with the husband and the night from start to finish was amazing. The entire team was wonderful, from the extremely personable and friendly host for the night (I believe his name was Kavian) to all the chefs, staff and a great surprise was meeting Chef Ling herself! The courses were to die for and the portions were perfect. We can't wait to come back and share the experience with some friends!“
