“they were busy and the food came out hot, fast and delicious. the drinks were A1. I had a smokey Paloma and my partner had a Mexican martini. Chris took CARE of us in the middle of a rush. made us feel seen. he even gave us an opportunity to vote for the restaurant on the austin chronicle website. Cory and Roxanne were also awesome. even though there was some dude at the bar giving them what for. if you're visiting and just want to vibe, this is the place.“

“Ya'll got to try this place! Soul was happy! Place isn't very fancy but AMAzing quantities for the price! We had veg chowmein, steamed chicken momos, chai, lamb gosht curry with garlic naans and chilli momos. Everything was just soo yummy! The lamb curry tasted like my mom makes it, not the typical heavy oily preparation. The chilli momos were a bit too flavored for my preference. I prefer the steamed momos. Chowmein was huge quantity and delicious. For a change, Austin has something good we'd def come bk for!“

“I Have been bringing my son here for the lunch buffet on the weekends, and now he just turned 16. The staff know us well, and if something isn’t right , they fix it right away. Example- small kids :I do feel as they need to be at the table instead of being at the buffet wiping their noses or coughing and then grabbing every single spoon on the buffet. This happened and I told the owner and he immediately fixed it! He replaced every spoon and had a guy wiping the entire buffet area. I appreciate the staff and thank the kitchen personell doing a great job and sending out wonderful food!! I do wish the prices weren’t so high though. I was there every weekend when the prices were at $13, now it’s $20 on the weekends. Too high for me. Now I can only go there once in a blue moon. It’s a shame because it’s one of the better Indian restaurants in Austin.“

“I've ordered here to-go a couple of times and both have been great! On first impression, I wouldn't think a indian restaurant/bar/pizza combination would provide solid food (usually you gotta focus on one thing you're good at), but I was totally wrong with this one. I didn't get any pictures, but I've ordered the salmon tikka, palak paneer, vegetable biryani, and even tried their saag paneer pizza. No complaints, everything was delicious. I especially liked their salmon tikka masala. Oftentimes salmon in this format ends up dry and overcooked, but I found the salmon to be still very juicy, but cooked all the way through. This might just be my new favorite Indian spot (at least for takeout)!“

“We had party order from Sangam for our event during May 14th weekend for 3 courses (1 Lunch and 2 dinner) for about 100 people. Shiva was working with me and helped with the menu making sure none of the courses repeat any items including papad. He made suggestions based on our preferences and also guided us with the count and other details. Each of the delivery was made promptly at the requested time. The food provided was scrumptious and quantity was more than sufficient. Each of our friends were pleased with the food. Shiva - you are the best to work with and Sangam team , keep up with the amazing food and quality service you all provide. #indianfood #yummytummy #sangamchettinad“

“Tried this restaurant for the first time. My friend and I hadn’t decided where to go for lunch during our shopping spree when we walked past it and we were so glad we went. We had the Indian burrito, which was delicious, hot, and just the right amount of spice and heat. We were oggling at what the other patrons were eating and it all looked good. We’ll definitely be back!“

“We both loved our food. The person at the counter was very helpful in selecting the right dish and the food came quickly. It's authentic Mumbai food. So of you like that, you'll love the food here. We also ordered rasmalai, and you'll probably not find better rasmalai in this area. Oh and dis I mention how affordable everything is!“

“Enjoyed this spot on Mother’s Day! They offered us a free little dessert. Service was excellent and I loved my shrimp Biryani! I had enough to eat the next day and I did. I cannot wait to come back!My husband ordered the lamb tikka masala platter and he loved his too! The spot is really cute too. On this day the indoors area wasn’t open, but once they open it it will be even better!“

“Good variety in the lunch buffet, especially for how small the place was. They had 3 different rices plus 3 biriyanis. Goat curry, fish curry, tandoori chicken that was very tender. The food was good, very flavorful. There are definitely a lot of vegetarian options.“

“Chicken Tikka Masala w/rice was good and the Samosas are quite tasty here. I preferred selecting medium hot spice level as the House was too mild. Self ordering kiosk menu is a bit awkward to use. They get the food out quick and easy for take out. Friendly staff.“

“The food didn’t live up to all the hype people are talking about. I ordered pav bhaji and butter chicken. It was average taste missing a balance of the butter to the masala and salt and lime to the bhaji. Too chunky texture for my likingDefinitely the service was super slow and need some refining. The same person taking orders was also handing out orders. I think they should have a separate person handing out the orders through the second window instead of people cutting in line asking to give them the status. The customer were also placing more order while cutting or adding more to the order they already placed! I guess you can take that out of the Indian community but the cashier should speak up and say I'm sorry, but you need to go to the back of the line and create a new order. It just delayed for people that were waiting already in line trying to place new orders. My order took 30 mins even though they were giving a little buzzers to let us know but people inside the truck were not taking the orders as they came in. I did speak to the management team/owner and hopefully things will change when it comes to service and cutting line.Overall I think it's a great location and great atmosphere for seating and having some chai with friends along with food. There was a parking garage near by and it's very dog friendly for Austin standards which I loved. It was next to a dog park and the River. They just need to add water bowls and treats like other establishments in Austin. Keep up the good work and hope you do well.“

“My partner and I went here for the first time, and we were very happy with our meal. We ordered naan, samosas, chicken tikka masala, and chicken biryani. They were all very good, and most of the food came out very quick! The restaurant kept the decorations from the restaurant that used to be there, and I'm glad they did, because it's very pretty and cozy inside.“

“FINALLY! A good Dosa place in Austin! I've been waiting for ages for Austin to get some better Indian restaurants in the downtown area (despite the greatness of the city, food diversity has been pretty low). If you're downtown, this place is super convenient to get to. The Dosa was delicious, the staff were super welcoming, and the place was clean. Lots of vegetarian options too. Highly recommended!“

“Foods is great. I got one spicy(hot) and one medium chicken tikka masala and the flavor on the spicy(mine, my brother had the other) was really good I just wish there was more chicken but honestly every place I've been to pretty much does the same that is better tasting or more authentic. Still a good amount of chicken though actually. I saw too late about their tacos being really good or the biryani supposedly is a best seller I guess atleast that's what one of the apps suggested. I'll definitely be back but I wonder if there is a way to get more chicken for an upcharge without having to get a whole nother order. I would get a third order and split it will my brother but he holds out on the spice which is how I like my food. I guess the guy that took my order said it's hot cause there is another option to get really spicy but the hot was pretty perfect though now I am curious haha. I plan on having a couple beers and super spicy and beer can make one heck of a combo in the morning if you catch my drift. Late at night its hard to find good food or more diverse food like this place at least that i know of and they arent terribly far away from me. They definitely get bonus points for staying open real late. I edited my original response and am changing it from a 4 to a 5 star. Well done I'll definitely be back“

“Everest Momos is an absolute hidden gem in Austin! As a fan of spicy food , I stumbled upon this food truck and was blown away by the flavors and authenticity of their dishes. The veg momos were perfectly steamed and packed with delicious filling, while the veg chowmein and fried rice were bursting with flavor and freshness. The atmosphere of the food truck adds to the experience, making it feel like a true culinary adventure. If you're in Austin and craving some amazing street food, Everest Momos is a must-visit! Highly recommend!“

“Good concept and the food is very yummy. I loved the masala chai here ❤️. Good service and they serve food with a big smile. There's plenty of seating, clean space with a trash can and the atmosphere looks great on even busy nights. My biggest gripe is the lack of parking spaces nearby as a lot of the spots are reserved for hotel customers.“

“Ordered from Madurai Mes for our house warming function. Saravanan is a very nice person who knows how to deal with and satisfy customer requirements. He provides good suggestions and also introduced us to the cook as well. The food was very good - all items were very tasty and the cost was very reasonable. The star of the show was the pineapple kesari and payasam.“
