“I am just blown away. It has been hard to find really good Jamaican cuisine here in Austin but this by far was one of the best experiences I ever had. Not only was the food delicious and filling, you can tell that it was made with love. The kind lady was so nice and generous, she reminded me of the love and extra care my mema would give to us 14 grandchildren that piled up in her home every summer...it felt like home and I will definitely be returning ? Those oxtails were melt off the bone tender ?“

“First time having Jamaican food in Austin, and was pleasantly surprised. I got the jerk chicken plate which came with 2 decently sized pieces (only one leg piece), with rice and beans, plantains, and some veggies. It was a well portioned meal for $13 and was seasoned well. My only critique is that the chicken tasted a LITTLE bit dry on the inside. There was plenty of sauce and seasoning on the outside. Maybe it's because I'm Pakistani and am used to eating halal chicken that's naturally more tender/juicy. But my friend and I came 10 minutes to close and was still met with decent service, and I can tell that the people running the truck are genuine hard workers.“
