“Very polite staff. I wish I'd caught her name, because our server was so sweet when I sent back the Jellyfish salad and she let me sub it for eel. There wasn't anything wrong with the jellyfish - it was well put together, and if you like spicy, tangy seafood dishes, then PLEASE give it a try.The eel was phenomenal, though. Sweet and savory, it practically melts in your mouth, and it goes very well with the caramelized onions. If you were our waitress and you see this, I was a little too shy to thank you as much as I wanted to. I really appreciated your patience and kindness. We were the fourtop in the booth right by the door.“

“Good service & very clean. Food took a while to come out , but everything was hot and fresh! We got battered wings tossed in buffalo & sweet & spicy sauce. Neither were spicy which was a huge disappointment, but still really yummy. We also got battered Lemon pepper wings which were really good. Will definitely be returning :)“

“This I our second time coming to this establishment and they were just as amazing as the first time. The atmosphere is amazing and versatile. This is can be a perfect spot for a date, or a business meeting, or even just hanging out with friends. They offer a verity of food. You will see the basics like pork bell all the way to exotic items like octopus. And on top of that, the staff is amazing and super friendly. If I could rate this a 9/5 I would.“

“Delicious authentic Korean food here. My favorite soup and restaurant in the H Mart food court! Seafood and spice level is perfect. Several options here, so whether you like beef, vegetables, seafood, or pork, you’ll find something yummy. Wall menu has pictures that accompany the dish, so you know what you’re getting.Parking: Free parking lot right out front.“

“Our go to sushi spot in Austin. Always good, reasonably priced, and reliable. They even have booths to mimic seating on a Japanese floor.Vegetarian options: Cucumber roll, agedashi tofu, miso soup, edamame vegetable tempura, and moreParking: When busy can be hard to find parking. May be able to park in lots next door, but not sure of towing policy. Entrance to parking lot is narrow and easy to miss.Kid-friendliness: The booths are more kid friendly for those with toddlers bc they can semi-walk around inside them without bothering other guests. You can also fit infant car seats comfortably inside and tucked out of the way. But you are required to take off your shoes for the booths“

“I adore this establishment, and the chefs truly excel! However, the service leaves much to be desired; there are frequent lapses where orders are forgotten, and customers shouldn't have to remind the staff. Despite these issues, I've given them 5 stars. Yet, I believe management must prioritize server training. While I understand it's challenging, excellent service is essential in the food industry, and consistent training is paramount for success.“

“Sushi is realllllyyyyy yummy and at a good price! I find that most mid point sushi places slack on quality and freshness, but this place does not cut corners! The lady working there is also really sweet.I had the yellowtail roll, spicy salmon roll, and white tuna nigiri and it came to about $30 including tip.Went back again, 11/18/23 and everything was great! Salmon tartare was super refreshing!“

“This is my favorite restaurant in Austin, hands down. The food is always delicious with new additions to the menu every time we visit. The wine selection is diverse and tasty. The staff is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about what pairs well. I've hosted parties in their private dining area with rave reviews from all attendees! We've met the owners - they are so nice and it's very evident how much they care about the dining experience. My wife and I try all of the new restaurants in Austin and are often disappointed - Underdog is a great experience every time. Cannot recommend highly enough!“

“Chosun was pretty good. I usually get the dolsot bibimbap, and I haven't been in a while, but the restaurant changed the bowl. It's wider and flatter now, and personally, it was a bit harder to mix everything. Also, my friend ordered the yellow croaker, but it didn't come out until 10-15 minutes after most of our food arrived. By that time, my friend ate most of his rice with his stew, so I deducted a star because of service and the platter change. The servers were great though, and the restaurant was clean and spacious, which is always appreciated!“

“I'll always support my fellow Black Asians but wow this place is insane! You ask for wings and get the whole chicken! Seriously don't go over 15 (I think that was an option I got 10).For the traditional folks this man not be your place due to everything including drinks must be ordered from the QR/app that's popular across town. So no asking anyone for anything ALL APP/site! I assure you it's worth it“

“Great place for Sushi and Authentic Korean food!! Most places just give the add on Korean sides that are just ok and good with the meal but man, seriously, the Sides here are delicious!! It's been a minute since I've been here but glad to see that food is still great and customer service is awesome! I highly recommend this place for Korean food“

“The restaurant has a great selection of delicious and affordable Japanese food. I’ve ordering here for a while now and the fishes are always fresh and the sushi pieces are big. They have an amazing gyoza and special sushi rolls. Also, they offer lunch specials with a great price (Monday to Saturday from 11:00-2:30pm).“

“WOW. I was craving kimchi jjigae and they nailed it! The flavor was on point and the spice level was on the more mild side. The meal was perfectly portioned. My order was ready incredibly fast. It was a little confusing picking up my first order, since I paid online and went to pick it up-they use a locker pickup system. Overall, I would recommend and will be coming back! ?“

“Excellent sushi in an unexpected location. Dawa is a food truck in a funky food trailer park off Burnet. Which belies the level of food you are about to experience. The venue and the service are the epitome of no frills. All the effort. All the attention. All the care. That goes to the food.My kids loved the mixed options platter where my son discovered a love for octopus ?.There are many sit down establishments that charge quite a bit more that could stand to learn from this humble but mighty food truck. The gyoza were a huge hit as well.We will be back.(There is a shared Playground: it is oddly and very unsafely situated within the parking lot while nice to have a playground be careful of cars immediately outside the play area - this is no fault of the business it is owned by the space they rent from - but parent beware.)Vegetarian options: Did not feel like many “non-fish” options.Dietary restrictions: They can do sashimiParking: The food “trailer park” has parking - but it can quickly overflow at peak times.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly for kids who love sushi.Wheelchair accessibility: Not super accessible/ the lot is poorly paved.“

“These are the best wings I've ever had. The fry on all three flavors I tried was perfect and each wing had a generous amount of meat on it! My favorite was the honey garlic wings! I also got sweet potato fries and waffle fries which were so crispy and perfectly seasoned! The tteokbokki was nice and spicy with delicious fish cake in it too! The mala wings weren't as spicy as I wished but the flavor was great! The galbi wings also had a nice smoky flavor to them! I love this place, but be mindful they are a bit pricey!“

“Good food and good service. I came in for a group dinner and we had such a fun experience. Since we had a large group we ordered an array of sushi. My absolute favorite thing on the menu was the Hama chili special. I will come back for this any day. Also the matchi ipa was interestingly yummy. If you're sitting on the floor they will ask you to take off your shoes, so expect that depending on your where you sit.“

“My husband and I ordered online we ordered the beef bulgogi bowl my husband ordered a large bowl with extra meat and white rice and I ordered the regular size with fried rice. It’s a unique experience because they have iPads that scan your order screen and it opens up the locker with your food inside it’s pretty neat. Apart from that the food was so good and hot my fried rice was flavorful but didn’t have an eggy taste it tasted so good with the meat it had veggies and they were perfectly cooked I didn’t order extra meat but I feel like it came with a lot.“
“All the vegetables were very fresh and kept very well stacked. There are lot of options and lot of things to do. Kids will also have great time here.Fresh sea food is very good. “Authentic Korean food. The food is delicious. Staff is friendly. What’s better is that it’s our late night spot. They close at 2am!!! The pork soup and kalbi are my constant gotos. Other dishes are good as well. We go here at least once every 2 e weeks.“
“My go-to Korean side dish place in Austin! I always get their gamja tang. I personally enjoy the taste of MSG (this place doesnt use MSG, which is a plus for those who look for a healthy side dish option!), so I add some MSG & shiso leaf (gget ip) when boiling gamja tang at home. Overall, this is a great place to stock up on your weekly side dish“

“I can't believe I forgot to write a review for this place! I went in December and had the best sweet potato korean hot dogs! They have different options whether you want a hot dog or cheese inside and different outside batter. The sweet potato is my favorite! I see the price has gone up since I was last here but they are soooo worth it! They keep seasonings on the counter by the ordering stations so you can have it how you like. They have cheese powder, sugar, ketchup, and more! Oh K is located inside the H-Mart food court towards the back wall. Absolutely love this place!“

“Came in from AZ to get some great Austin food. One of my clients mentioned Chi'lantro. We bopped in for lunch. I had the famous fries. They were very good! The layers of flavors & sauces were spot on. Perhaps the fries were a little under done. If they been crispier they would have held up to the wet toppings better. My husband had a pop chicken bowl. Very good as well.“

“I came to check this place out after walking around Hmart and this place a great spot for a quick bite. I got the Mozza Dog and it was nice and crispy on the outside with a good amount of filling inside. I also got the Oh K Classic Egg Toast and the egg was light and fluffy and tasted great with their sauce on top. There is also a station where you can add extra condiments which was nice to utilize. There was a lot of space to sit inside and the workers were very welcoming. I would definitely recommend to check this place out.“

“This place is fantastic, the Kimchi Jeon was amazing and the hostess who served us was wonderful! She made our night by sharing kdrama recommendations and letting us practice some of our broken Korean, I'm sorry if I misspell it but I think her name is 유 진현? Great food and great atmosphere!“

“The meat was tough and stringy like it had been there for ever. They were out of fries and wings an hour before close which was fine. But there was a huge idle of water on the floor and I put their wet floor sign up. It was my first time trying this place if the lady wasn’t so friendly I would have just left. I think it’s worth giving it another due to the veggie combo being so delicious.“

“Food was great here! I liked the cheesy teokbokki. Sauce was no different than the usual teokbokki sauce, delicious as always. Not too spicy either. I like that there were dumplings and eggs in there as well. Tuna kimbap tasted fresh and creamy. Would love to try their bulgogi one next time. Prices were reasonable. Quick and easy to order. Located inside H-mart food court. Can be a bit crowded on weekends but I didn't have to wait long when I ordered.“

“Coming from OC, California, I had my fair share of Korean food from mom-and-pop style restaurants. Living in downtown Austin, it's a bit a drive to get to the Chinatown Center, but we finally made the trek out there. Given that there isn't much of a Korean food scene in Austin, I tried to temper my expectations with Korean Grill. To my surprise, Korean Grill managed to meet the same level of food quality and flavors as the shops in OC. All the side dishes (banchan) were knockouts, from the seasoned fishcake to the marinated cucumbers. The soft tofu soup was packed with the addictive spices and flavors that keeps you wanting more. The hot stone rice bowl (dolsot bibimbap) had a great assortment of veggies and came out piping hot - like, you can see the smoke in my photo! Now if you're familiar with these kind of Korean mom-and-pop places, you know they are not known for their service or ambiance. Sure, the interior was nothing special, but at least it was quite spacious. The mom (owner?) may come off a bit brash on first impression, but she was actually quite accommodating and attentive. All-in-all, I was quite happy with my experience! Even though the drive out there is kinda long, I'll be sure to come by again when those Korean kravings kick in!“

“This tasty casual Korean food spot is hidden on the second floor inside the Dobie mall (above Target). It’s run by the same family for 30 years, and the food is every bit as good as I remember from undergrad. Unfortunately there isn’t any parking you have to walk or take the bus to get there. Great bulgogi, bimimbap, and spicy squid.“

“Wow what a great experience at this Chi’Lantro! The workers were extremely helpful, kind, and professional. Vicky made you feel at home and took extraordinary measures to make sure my order was complete. She was so personable and made me feel like I was part of her family. Chi’Lantro keep up the phenomenal work and I appreciate the fantastic customer service! I will definitely recommend this location and will absolutely return. No complaints all praises to the 620 team! Thank you Chi’Lantro!“

“Visited this restaurant a second time, and has a much better experience. I had the Dduk Boki and milk tea before, and it had rice that was too clumpy and the milk tea was too small for what you are paying for it (you have to pay extra for boba balls as well). I had the Beef Bulgogi bowl this past time I visited, and it is really good. They may have improved the Dbuk Boki the past year, but I can definitely recommend the Beef Bulgogi bowl.“

“Paik's Noodle is an Austin gem in the heart of HMart! My favorite is always the Jajangmyeon - it's the perfect blend of savory and sweet, with bouncy noodles soaking up the delicious sauce. I also am a fan of the crispy-fried sweet and sour pork. I think it's fried in tapioca or rice flour which gives it a fluffy and airy outer coat. We also got the fried chicken wings and fried rice. Overall, it's definitely one of my favorite places to go!“

“This place is a hidden gem for reals! We had the bento box with galbi, spicy fish soup, and a spicy salmon roll. The tempura in the box was the best I've had in Austin. “We enjoyed our dinner at Oseyo. Our favorite dishes were the fried chicken, japchae (vegetable heavy) and kimchi fried rice. We also liked the pickled vegetables in the ban chan. Since we read the reviews, we knew it would be trendy and slightly pricey and not hole in the wall Korean. Given those expectations, we enjoyed it a lot. Also loved the cocktails especially the spicy mango margarita. Got parking in the lot to the side of the restaurant due to an early reservation but it might be hard to find parking at peak times.“

“Solid location. I wish I had a lot more to say. It's clean, with plenty of seating, the food is good, and the staff is friendly. There's nothing about this spot that stands out, good or bad. And that's not a negative, that's really just a testament to Chi'Lantro's consistency for good food and quality service. I got a small tofu ssam last time I was here and took no time in devouring it while sitting at one of the tall tables with some friends. This is a pretty good spot for groups as the workers that day kept the line moving. Great for the mixed diet friend group as I was the only vegetarian and another member couldn't have fried food and she ordered herself a nice rice bowl. Someone else got kimchi fries. No complaints to be found among us.“

“I've never had Katsu before and I was completely surprised. My wife encouraged me to try the Mozzarella Chicken Katsu and I thoroughly enjoyed it immensely. The chicken was crispy and the sweet and sour gravy like sauce just blended it all together nicely. It may look like a monster sized chicken fried steak if you're just going off the picture of it alone, but no it's not even close. Believe it or not there's a size bigger (Texas Size) and I can't even imagine anyone trying to eat something of that caliber. Only thing I can gripe about it the price, because everything is expensive and yada yada, but it's worth the price to get the Katsu I got. Also you do get 4 sides with it too which drives up the value.“
“This place is located in the food court in HMart. While it can get hectic there, the food is the perfect place for some Korean comfort food!I might have come on an off day, but the service was really slow. They left out a sign saying "Be back in 15 minutes" but I waited over 30 minutes before I could order. That aside though, the seafood soondubu jigae was so delicious!! The mild spice was a bit spicier than most other places I've had, but it was good with the rice. The broth was perfectly flavored and there was so much soft tofu. I think this would have been perfect with an egg. But even so, this was one of the tastiest soondubus I've had!“
