“New to Austin and this place is near me. I love their chicken rice soup. Yesterday when I bought it, it tasted saltier than normal. Please don't start making it salty. Right at the moment the customer can make it saltier if they like and leave it less salty if they choose. It's so hard to find low sodium soup. I hope you guys see my review“

“Delicious food and outstanding service. Two managers came by to ask if we needed anything, and were happy to change the meal a member of our party ordered because it was too spicy.“

“Soup Peddler is GREAT! I had it for the first time over the weekend at a different location, but today found out there’s the N Lamar store half a mile from my office! The mulligatawny soup is incredible. I paired it with a plain grilled cheese and tried one of their special, limited-time seasonal smoothies, the Foxy Lady. Super fresh food, great service!Parking: An awkwardly laid out parking lot, but ample pickup parking spots available.“

“Actually I feel this place has the best Chinese cuisine in Austin. We ordered Fish, pork liver and fried rice. All very good taste. It's just the fish is kinda small and expensive. The disappointing part is the service. The person who took the order was very cold“

“As of March 31 they are closed. I'm devastated since I have been eating here every week for years and loved it. The owner told me three weeks ago they were going to close on Sunday (2 weeks from my last visit) but I thought she meant closing just for Easter. Otherwise I would have eaten here 4 or 5 times a week until the last day!!“

“Service here is excellent, i like that you can order online and pay at the counter that's something most places don't endorse which is nice, it makes me feel as though i get the experience of service prior to tipping, which i would never not tip these workers they're amazing! Their website is informative of pick up times when they're busy which is excellent, and the food is AMAZING. I love asian food and this place never disappoints, when i first ordered from here i was surprised by the prices but then i got the portions and oh lord they're massive, one order can feed two people for sure and that's more than i can ask for from this place. Crab rangoons are to die for teriyaki chicken is fucking amazing, and egg rolls are amazing. I prefer this place to panda express they're far better in every way and more cost efficient!!“

“We have visited Wok on Fire several times. Always enjoyable. We had our last meal delivered. I had a busy day besides having family coming for dinner. I was able make the order early to be delivered at dinner time. The food arrived on time, freshly cooked and steaming hot. The potions are generous. But most important...the food is delicious!“

“Highly recommended!!! Not really sure what I expected when many friends recommended this place. NOT your average oyster bar that's for sure! This is an oyster bar with Asian Flare! Deckhand has two locations in Austin to serve the hungry masses. We visited the North Austin location, located on the edge of Round Rock. My sister friend from Cali was in town for a few days and wanted to see the Capital (of course) and get some great Austin Food! When you walk in it looks just like an East Coast "Locals" seafood spot, very unassuming, but wait! the FIRST thing to notice is the MASS of oyster shells in the flower beds around the parking lot. Super unique and SO COOL! okay - SO!!! back to inside... Think - Sconce lighting, party streamers, fish murals, bench seating; it's TOTALLY small town bar setting! there is PLENTY of seating tho! Like, ALL OVER!!! Outside seating too for those sunny Austin days! So when you come in you are immediately greeted by the hostess, and are seated right away; not sure if this is a NORM? but this was OUR experience this day; even though the place was HOPPIN busy! Our server was a TRUE saleswoman - and a FAST talker! We had to keep on top of her while ordering as she kept trying to talk us into ordering EVERYTHING! lol She was cute though, and Super Nice! She took great care of us! As busy as they were they pushed food out Super Quick! which for Austin in our experience is pretty typical; and which we LOVE. We started out with 1/2 dozen raw oysters (our server told us we HAD to have a full dozen haha!), which were served with a version of Thai hot sauce that I make a home but they do it a little differently and serve it in a squeeze bottle! It's sugar, cilantro, fresh hot chilis, fish sauce, lime or lemon and garlic. Super yummy and they BLEND it! Their version is sweeter than mine but MAN it took the oysters - added to the squeeze of lemon, fresh horseradish and cocktail sauce to ANOTHER LEVEL. SOOOOOOOO Freaking Good!!!! The oysters were larger than I usually get but these were SO SWEET AND FRESH AND JUICY!!! Then we had fried Salt and Pepper Calamari and Prawns. So as I said this place is Asian inspired, so they don't use heavy wheat flour in their batter, there is rice flour and cornstarch in here baby! Light, not At All greasy, and FULL OF FLAVOR!!! they also follow up the fry with stir fried onions, and jalapenos quick stirred in, and then top with cilantro, so be prepared for FULL FLAVOR here folks!! For our meal we opted for the whole fried flounder and guys....GUYS!!!! LOOK AT MY PIC. This was the MEDIUM one, and it was MASSIVE!!! fried perfectly - i didn't even need to ask them to fry it hard to make sure it was COOKED. This daddy tasted of a light pre marinade - not just a flat fried fish. It's also served with a chili pepper sauce that gives the fish an intense flavored, slightly kicked-up chili sauce for your dipping pleasure. Man this fish is EXCELLENT!!! Crispy outside, tender inside and I LOVE this fish in all of it's MEATY YUM!!! I could eat this EVERY DAYYYYYYYYY The daughter got chicken wings as she wasn't feeling too adventurous and wasn't trying to feed her fried rice habit today. They came out and I was like OH MAN!!! But she wasn't so impressed. I had to (very quickly) remove the mass of jalapenos and onions piled on top - GREAT in my eyes, but not so great to my girl and her limited taste sensations - WHOSE CHILD IS THIS??? . After removing the offending additions though she tore into them and they LOOKED GOOOOOOD. LIke the fried fish they were cooked perfectly, crispy/tender/juicy/flavorful action ACHIEVED!!! Next up and eaten WITH the flounder was our Som Tom (aka Papaya Salad). Deckhand makes theirs Lao style; complete with salty fermented tiny raw crabs included! We got ours Medium Heat (for my sister/friend) and the flavor was FANTASMIC... Salty, citrusy, fresh Crispy veg with FULL FLAVOR OVERLOAD. They even remember to include Long beans in the salad for another added crunch and Fam - with the sticky rice and “

“Rarely a restaurant improves with the passage of time, and I must admit hadn't eaten at an Olive Garden in well over several years. Last time it was just average. However the Olive Garden Restaurant in South Austin put that concept to bed, big time, with an excellent meal , excellent service and a spotless overall dinning facility.I'm looking forward to my next meal there.“

“This place has large selection of smoothies, and they are very tasty (but look online for the calories, some are really loaded). The grilled cheese is great and soups are also tasty (but for me some soups are a bit too salty). The staff is very hard working and friendly. Tables outside on the covered sidewalk a nice idea.“

“We well very satisfied with our selection. Our server was really patient and kind.Only draw back was the creamy mushroom was a tad too salty.Meatballs on the spaghetti was a meal themselves. The fettuccine alfredo was devoured fully, as usual. And of course can never go wrong with the breadsticks. That lovely looking Chocolate Lasagne shall have to wait for another visit for we all left completely full.We thank you whole-heartedly full the lovely evening.(just perhaps give your vents a cleaning since they do blow right on the tables...)“

“Sound the alarms! Alert the fighters! This place for sure, is on fire!!!!! I ordered over the phone 30 minutes before closing time and was definitely expecting to get cussed out..... that did not happen!! Upon entry the shop keeper actually look happy to see me, maybe so she could finally go home, as I was the last idiot to order that late. But my delulu self thought it was because she was genuinely just happy to see me and she truly loves her job. Whichever reason be true, she was friendly and warm. We even had a whole plant lovers conversation about the two potted orchids at the front door. No rush! No worries! And no cussing for calling so close to close. Sounds like Grade AA customer service to me! Unlike most types of cuisine, with Chinese, I feel like the dirtier the establishment, the better the food. Super China proved this theory wrong. The restaurant is bright, simple, and extremely clean from what I could see. I ordered my food to go so I can't tell yu if the tables or clean and the menus aren't sticky. But everything I touched was spotless! Which can not be said for every quick order take out food spot, that's for sure. The food was phenomenal!!! Most places put carrots and peas in their fried rice, in the south, but I'm used to Ben sprouts, spring onion, and scrambled eggy bits. I asked to add bean sprouts and eggs and I didn't get cussed out y'all! That has got to be a record. the egg foo young patties were sumptuous and thick, perfectly textured, and seasoned. Even without the brown sauce the Pattie's themselves tasted so good. So once I added my custom order fried rice, and topped with the juicy chicken patties, all that was left was garnishing. The brown sauce that came with the order was in a lot smaller of a container than I would have expected but it was so viscous and concentrated that a little went a LONG WAY!!! I added chopped onion and cilantro just to be boujie and add some more color to the plate, bu it was totally unnecessary flavor wise because this dish held it down, on its own. Everything was so good, I had to stop myself from getting seconds, especially that late at night. However, and much tiny surprise, everything reheated really well the next day and didn't lose its texture or taste! I just moved to Austin from Dallas from chicago. And when I tell you good Chinese food is hard to come by, GOOD CHINESE IS HARD TO COME BY!!!!! Super China you all did the thang!!“

“I was looking for something healthy. I’m glad I stumbled upon this place. Love the vibe inside and outside. The thunder storm rolling in only added to the ambience. I had the Brussels and grilled chicken salad that is currently their specials. The Thai Brussels were stupid good. 10/10 recommend.“
