“There was a decent line before they opened the door to let people in. Had the Khao Man Gai Combo.Pro: Pretty tasty well cooked chicken, both fried and regular. Comes with soup that is savory, compliments the combo very well. The rice is also cooked well, savory.Con: A bit pricy, with combo that has chicken, rice and small soup and a can of soda, it is $20 not including tax+tip. Portion is a bit small, would have been nice to have more rice for the money. Its newly open so it feels things aren't sorted out very well, it took a long time to put in the order and sit down.Don't expect at table service because it is not that type of place. Order is done at the counter, water is self service.Overall decent place to visit, I would come back after it settles in. The chicken and rice is very good, probably will try other things when I come back, but I hope the portion gets bigger.“

“My youngest daughter and I took a trip to Austin yesterday to shop at Fiesta and HMart and try out food truck Kiin Di. The food was great. We had the killer noodles, old school pad Thai and the dang curry with blk lemonade Chai tea. As i said before the food was really great. The staff is customer service focused. We will be back.“

“Khon easily serves the best authentic Thai food I’ve had in Austin. The staff is exceedingly friendly, and the restaurant is very clean, comfortable, and welcoming. My table got several orders of chicken soft bones as appetizers, which were amazing and paired extremely well with alcohol, especially beer. It’s a unique menu item I haven’t seen at any other restaurant, but I wish it was more common! Definitely became one of my favorite foods to snack on. The fried tofu was also outstanding - fluffy and light. What really stood out to me was the pork jowl. It was tender, savory, and had the texture of a perfectly cooked filet mignon. My friends and I absolutely loved dining here and will certainly be coming back again!“

“This is the my vote for best Thai food in Austin - I've lived nearby for 8 years and we get takeout from this food truck at least 3 times each month. The Pad Thai & Green Curry are my favorite dishes but everything I've had is incredible and the portions are huge + the staff is always fast & friendly. 10/10 - Highly Recommended!“

“I ended up here based on a recommendation from a friend, did not disappoint. I ended up ordering something away from my comfort zone, I'd usually go for a pad Thai or pad see ew, but I went ahead and ordered the red curry and the coconut soup. Very delicious, good portion. The soup I was not such a big fan of, wouldn't get it again. Will definitely be back to try my favorites at this spot. I definitely love the counter service they've got going on, there's a self-serving station so you can help yourself to sauces and waters. You can either go ahead and order at the counter, or take a seat at one of the tables and order from the sticker they have on the tabletop. Your food will just magically appear after ordering, which is amazing. Very good spot for studying, I would definitely come in and do remote work here, it's got coffee shop vibes.“

“Very friendly service and huge portions! Everything tasted great, we ordered the pad Thai and pad kra prao both at a medium spice, they were both tasty and a true medium spice. Also got the Thai tea, it was very sweet but went nicely with the spicy food, would recommend!“

“Ever eat something so incredible your soul leaves your body for a minute? The panang curry does that.I keep coming back for it even though I can't handle spicy foods. It's worth the pain. I didn't know anything could have this many incredible flavors packed in every bite! Seriously so good I'm drooling just writing a review. And the owners are the absolute nicest people. I left a comment on my mobile order about not being able to handle super spicy and they immediately called me to let me know there wasn't a way to make it less spicy and double check that I still wanted it. They even tried to dilute it a bit to help me out, but I'd still eat this even if it melted my tastebuds off.15/10“

“It may look like a random restaurant at a pit stop, but Saigon is our favorite Asian joint in the Austin area. We make a 30 minute trip just for it.It's small, family run and the food is just delicious.Steamed pork dumplings are so perfectly airy and balanced it's ridiculous.Owners are sweet and kind and put a lot of effort to assure you enjoy your meal.“

“Thailand in Texas! One of the most authentic Thai restaurants in the Lone Star State! I had the Pad Kra Pow with shrimp (medium spice.. which has kick for you heat-lovers) and the Crab Rangoon. I will be back to try EVERYTHING on the menu. I got to dance to an amazing live band while I waited. Heaven! ? ? ? ??“

“It's crazy how fast they bring out the food. Even when they are at 100% capacity, they bring out the food almost before I've even done ordering. The food is also great, I drive over 30 mins just for this location. I won't even drive 15 mins to see my friends (14.5mins is my limit), but this place is worth it.“

“Wow! I havent even finished my meal yet but needed to leave a review. I ordered the basil fried rice with chicken and medium spice. It's PERFECTLY seasoned and so flavorful. It was ready quickly during lunch on a Tuesday, I'll be back to try the rest of the menu. Thank you!!“

“I had the Shrimp Pad Thai, and it's been a while since I finished a Pad Thai dish. The shrimp were slightly overcooked, but still very good overall. The Thai Chive Dumplings were also very yummy by themselves, but even better with the provided thick dipping sauce.I will be back to sample the Tom Kha Gai (Chicken Coconut Soup) which will be ultimate Thai food test.“
