I’ve gone to this Torchy’s for almost a decade now but had a bit of hiatus since COVID. Ordered two Democrats and a Washingtonian and… wow. The beef barbacoa in the democrats was almost entirely fat and had the taste and texture of a greasy ball of snot. The Washingtonian’s pulled pork was dry, tough and essentially inedible. Threw away all three tacos after a bite from one of the Democrats and a bit of the Washingtonian. For tacos that are now on average over $5 a piece I feel ripped off. Definitely seems like Torchy’s has gone downhill faster than a lot of other local chains.
